Found this hidden gem on FB. Had the half-rack of ribs with baked beans and cole slaw. unfortunately, the truck hadn't come yet, so no Mac and cheese. However, the beans were sweet and savory and the slaw was just right. The portions were plenty for me!!! Will definitely be going back. The service, by the owner I'm assuming, was hands on, friendly, and never intrusive. The Red Velvet cake was a near perfect closer. Just can't say enough good things. My new go-to spot. 10 out of 10, 2 thumbs up, 5 stars.... They deserve all the superlatives. Excellent job, ya'll!!!

Love this place. The food is outstanding. Don't pass up on the home-made desserts.
Wonderful ribs (the meat fell off the bone)! Homemade deserts... the red velvet cake had the best icing. Great service / friendly staff (family-owned business). I will definitely visit the Peach Pit again!

Their pulled pork, all their sauces, stew and coleslaw are absolutely amazing. The chicken was a bit overcooked but I'm thinking about giving it another chance soon. Looking forward to trying their brisket when it comes back. It was always sold out. Can't wait to try the ribs.It's definitely an authentic southern experience. Reminds me of home. Southern hospitality.
I've lived in Winterville for 4 years and have always seen this location, but I was always too busy to stop in. Today, my best friend and I decided to stop in and try it out. We both loved it. She had the Pork-n-Slaw sandwich, and I had the half chicken plate. I can tell she loved her meal because it was eaten before I was halfway through mine. My chicken plate was a hearty portion (not small like Jim-n-Nicks) with a great tasting tater salad and mac-n-cheese. I took leftover home for my husband to try when he gets home. But I would definitely recommend this place if you're a BBQ fan like me.

Best bbq around, I always make it a point to stop in and grab some ribs or brisket any time I'm around the area.
Parking: An average driver shouldn't have any issues but a larger vehicle may be a little more difficult
Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly establishment , they even have kids bbq plate and sandwich options.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and has a double door for an entrance , wheelchairs are not a problem at all

Wasn't impressed. Stopped in a for a bbq sandwich and mac&cheese. The sandwich was average but the mac&cheese was not good I couldn't even eat it. It seem like the lady that fixed the food warmed up a cup of instant velveeta and put it a styrofoam cup. Well I should have just went to Shane’s Rib Shack. I saw in previous that they buy this kind of Mac and cheese to cater to the kids. I offered my 2 year old some and she spit it out and she loves Mac and cheese. Highly disappointed. Wish I could get my money back. Oh and the drinks were awful. Hi-C fruit was very watered down.
