I've been a loyal customer of this bakery for years, and the food has always been a highlight. I've always appreciated the warm and friendly staff, which has been a big part of my experience.
Unfortunately, my most recent visit was different. The employee who served me was rude and unpleasant.i was told her name was Emily by another employee, It was so disappointing that I've decided not to return. It's a shame, as the quality of the food is excellent, but one bad interaction can truly ruin the entire experience.

From the moment you step inside to the moment you bite in to your treat, your tastebuds will want to eat at least one of everything your eyes see. The cupcake I bought was massive (photo doesn’t do it justice) and probably at least 2,000 calories but every single bite was pure bliss. Looking forward to coming back on the next blue moon and enjoying more of Alpine’s delicious confections! 🍰🧁🤤

I was planning a celebration and realized I hadn't picked up dessert for my friends following a gluten free diet. I stopped in to Alpine Bakery and was greeted by a very helpful team member. While she prepared my order a couple team members checked to be sure I was taken care of. I tasted the desserts and they were incredible. Outstanding service and product.

Bought a slice of strawberry Swiss roll today. Very disappointed. The sponge cake tastes soggy. The strawberry bits inside are dark colored and mushy. Whipped cream topping does not taste fresh at all. It feels like the cake has been days old. Had to throw the whole thing away after 2 bites. The first photo is what we have. The second photo is from Alpine Bakery’s website. Quite a difference!
Great cakes and assorted pastries!

I had the pleasure of visiting Alpine Bakery in Holly Springs, and let me just say—what a gem! The place is spotless and beautifully kept, which made my first impression even better. The customer service? Absolutely superb. Cuin was so warm and welcoming, truly making me feel like a part of the community from the moment I walked in.
Not only did he guide me through their incredible selection of treats (seriously, it’s a dessert lover’s dream), but he also surprised me with a little sample for my palette—and wow! It was like a party in my mouth. I’m a huge fan of lemon and lime flavors, and the lemon cookie he gave me was divine—soft, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
Alpine Bakery just gained a loyal customer. Thank you, Cuin, for making my day so sweet!

Stopped by for lunch, I got the Stromboli with a peanut butter pie bar. Both of them were very good, the peanut butter pie bar was the right amount of sweet and not overly done, the Stromboli was very good and made fresh, would definitely stop by again.

I ordered a Carrot cake last year for my daughter birthday and we enjoyed it so much that we do it again this year. My wife got her strawberry shortcake birthday cake and we can’t wait for tomorrow to eat up
Ordered a custom 2 layer wedding cake: carrot cake and cream cheese frosting. It looked lovely. I added flowers myself. Unfortunately, the proportion of frosting to cake was off. Very narrow cake layers with way too much frosting. My guests picked out the cake and left most of the frosting on the plate stating “it was too much”. The frosting layers between the cake layers was as thick or thicker than the cake layers. I was really disappointed. I did call and leave this feed back and was only told no one has complained about it before.
The cheese cake I picked up on the spur of the moment for the event was delicious however. I added my own strawberries.
Cake was beautiful and delicious. I got red velvet, not necessarily everyone’s cup of tea but I loved it! It’s more subtle than that classic red velvet, and I prefer that. Pricey, $140 for this 10 inch round cake. I recommend getting smaller if not everyone is going to eat. It will be moist, so don’t worry about that. I added the butterflies and “just engaged” myself and just asked for a plain lavendar cake outside.
They have the best cupcakes especially red velvet and carrot
Their baked goods are presented well in the displays. Even though some cakes are already cut, you can't easily see the cross section of the cakes in the display case. Did notice that some cakes, especially the taller/bigger ones were few layers of cake with thick layers of frosting in-between; frosting layers were about the same thickness as each layer of cake. The one I tasted didn't have lots of frosting in-between the layers, which was very good. Although the cake was delicious, it's somewhat pricey (at ~$10) for a thinner slice of cake. Service was good with many attentive staff behind the counter.
