The rib deal was a good deal but unfortunately the ribs were not so good. They were a bit dry and tasted burnt. The canned green beans were very salty and the coleslaw was warm. I wanted to like it but...

So sad to write this, but the quality of food has decreased tremendously. We used to go here all the time- but as the experience of each visit deteriorated we rarely go. Today was one of the rare occasions we gave it another try. We were initially sat at a table that was visibly filthy. We ended up re-seating ourselves since the hostess walked away too quickly. Our server was very pleasant brought drinks quickly. The food order was correct however 3 of our 4 orders came room temperature or cold. We sent them back. The second round, while hot, was terribly dry and flavorless. Even my teenage boy, a living garbage disposal for food, wouldn’t eat his pork. The buttered toast tasted like it was flavored with chemical butter spray. Nothing seemed fresh. There’s just no more love in the food. The owner seems to have abandoned their roots of juicy flavorful BBQ and I do hope the owner reads this. Our community is small and we love to support the small businesses here. If I owned the place, I’d want to know- there’s too many good food options in Woodstock. I’d hate for them to close.

Meat was lukewarm at best, decent flavor though. The baked beans were barely warm. The greens were hot with solid flavor. The staff is on point!

OMG—- What happened to Bubba-Q Bbq???
I remember service there use to be on point. Not anymore.
My wife, daughter, and I went there this evening walked in was bairly even greeted, more like how many,, sat us down, we waited , waited , 2 minutes gone by, usually the time you should first be greeted and have drink order taken. 5 minutes approach still no drink order or waitress. There were like 4 tables that had people at them so it wasn’t busy, 3 different waitresses walked by, tended to the other folks, still nothing said . I told my wife let’s go. Funny thing is my wife told me the time I was at the door someone finally walked up to the table with her arms like “what/why?” And my daughter heard her say “ok bye”. So apparently they don’t care about loosing customer, and just to think this use to be my go to Bbq place. Key words use to be. I will no longer go back and I wouldn’t recommend it to no one if asked. Sorry Bubba-Q you have lost a customer.

Good food but some items are pricey. Also, if you have a party of six or more they build in a 20% gratuity.

On Sunday evening around 6:30pm, my family and I were dining when a disturbing incident occurred. A couple at a nearby table loudly confronted two women for discussing politics, shouting that they shouldn't be criticizing the U.S. president. A manager was called over—shockingly, instead of addressing the aggressors, the two women who had been harassed were asked to leave and told to wait outside for their bill or the police would be called.
This response was not only inappropriate, it was deeply troubling. Peaceful political conversation is protected by the First Amendment, and it was unsettling to see the restaurant side with those doing the harassing. I no longer feel comfortable bringing my family to a place where respectful dialogue can result in being ejected. Bub-Ba-Q’s handling of the situation was unacceptable, and I won’t be returning.

Very disappointed I paid $25 and this is what I got. Big B sandwich had a lot of fat in it and tasted like it was 7 day old brisket. The okra was burnt but mushy I’m not even sure how that happens. The Mac n cheese was very bland and I couldn’t even taste the cheese just lightly flavored noodles. When I walked in at 6:30pm I should have know it wouldn’t be good since there was only 4-5 people eating there. I travel here every 3-6 months and I am not sure what happened but it has been a sharp decline.

1st time visitor, got the ribs, green beans and okra. All were a big hit with the family! So good!
I paid 17$ for a ribplate. First off the food was ready n 4min so I already figured they was giving me some old food. The rib tasted like beef jerky with some bbq sause with no flavor. I also had mac n cheese and beans, both was mediocre. I was just in the area and had a taste for bbq and this was the only spot near me. I wouldnt go back here.
