Very dissatisfied. The food was not hot. The mac n cheese was very watery. When we got two of the brisket plates, there was more fat than brisket. We asked to exchange it. They did. The beans were overcooked. The corn fritters were good. No salt on any thing. The fried mac n cheese tastes like Kraft. It is a two sides menu. One side is for eating there the other side is for takeout and the name of the place, There is a small notice that says gratuity is 20 percent for 6 or more. Which I have no issue with however it should be on both sides of the menu. Especially the side for eating in.

We frequent this place for lunch twice a month, every month. Pretty good service, pretty good food. The wait staff and cooks are way better here than their Jasper location. But don’t even bother going to the Jasper location, might as well hit up McDonalds if you’re hungry… or just go hungry!
I had the lemon pepper wings. They were so good and very reasonable.

What happened? The brisket used to be the most tender, melt in your mouth meaty deliciousness. Either I got an old, dry and hard batch or the economy is forcing them to buy the cheaper meats. All I know is I have $20 of brisket in the trash now.

We enjoyed their pulled pork platters with tater tots. (Fried Mac & Cheese is fantasic). If you would like something a little different, try the chili-chong-a with brisket. Will put a big smile on your face and a full belly. Enjoy a cold beer or some sweet tea with that.
