I recently visited the Charleys located inside the Walmart in Woodstock, GA, and the experience was unfortunately not a good one. We ordered boneless wings and fries. The food itself was average, but the customer service definitely needs improvement. When we asked for ranch, we were told there would be an extra charge. For a basic dipping sauce that is typically included with wings, it felt unnecessary and came across as nickel-and-diming.
After visiting, I went back to look at the reviews for this location, and I noticed there are already several complaints about customer service. I normally check reviews ahead of time, but this time I didn’t — that’s on me. However, now I can clearly see why others have had similar experiences.

This was $12. Twelve freaking bucks for a sandwich made for children if not toddlers. The service was from a 17 year old so no fault to him or his attitude but the atmosphere was awful. The fries were cold, the sandwich was cold and teeny tiny. I’ve seen bigger happy meals. 0/10 threw away after first bites.

very unkind manager. proceeded to charge me .75 for what i assumed was the cheapest drink option because it rang up “open food” but when i went to refill the drink she proceeded to take the cup from me and throw it was arguably saying it was just for water. i understand that it was a misunderstanding but from an employee perspective it shouldn’t have been handled like that. when i asked for a new cup she proceeded to say “when you got a coke you paid the price” mind you i didnt even finish filling the cup with the said drink. she refused to give me a new water cup that i PAID for and refused to even watch me fill it with water. horrible customer service.

I'm going to be what appears a rare 5 star review for this place, but I had a very good meal, and the only lady at the counter was very friendly.

If i could rate 0 stars. I would. I placed an online order for pickup, the store hours and website hours show closure of 9 pm. Order pick up ready at 7:59. I arrived at 8:05 to find the doors closed. There was a couple of patrons inside. The worker alleges she closed the registers down (Lexi) but if I was charged why was the food not made and if it was made where did the food go? She stated she could not provide a refund due to closing the registers, YET my food would’ve been just great. I don’t live in Woodstock nor Atlanta. I live in Columbus GA. So, I have to hope someone even answers the phone tomorrow for my refund. Totally upsetting and inconvenient and security states the hours just shifted. Well just shift the online/site hours to reflect such change that was allegedly made over 1 week ago.
Good stuff, hot & fresh, liked the fries too. I'd definitely order again.

A sad amount of meat for a cheesesteak. The sandwich is made to look larger by adding tons of lettuce and tomatoes. The flavor was good but not a good deal for the amount of meat you get and the price.

Someone incorporate needs to be FIRED! What study group unanimously voted to have LETTICE & TOMATO as a default topping condiment for a Philly cheesesteak? Utterly sinful and a waste of $20. I did not know this until I got all the way back home and I realized that lettuce and tomato are on the pictures until it was too late. If you want a real Philly cheesesteak, go to Uncle Phil's on Moreland Avenue in Atlanta. At least if you spend $15 to $20 you get a real Philly cheesesteak that is made with Quality Cheese and toppings I could barely find the provolone cheese! The meat was not finely chopped up it was still whole. The bacon was flimsy and not crispy. Total Fail. The woman and man who took my order were friendly and helpful.

The menu, as bright as it is, displays what ingredients are on their Phillys. So why the hell are y’all adding lettuce and tomatoes to it??? What a terrible surprise when I got home 😡 $8 for a small??!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!

Charlie's in the Bells Ferry Walmart has wonderful Cheesesteak and Chicken sandwiches. Drink choices are limited and seating is basic. All of the staff are friendly.
