I went to City BBQ ( Woodstock) for the first time on Veterans Day. Being a vegetarian I thought I would pick up my Veteran’s Day meal minus the sandwich. But, Stephanie was so kind, she chatted with her manager and was able to swap the sandwich for a side. She thank me for my service with true sincerity. I had no idea the sides were so good!! I came back again today and Stephanie greeted me with the same kindness and sincere friendliness I experienced on Veteran’s Day. I watched her show the same kindness to others. Her energy truly changes the atmosphere, and her willingness to go the extra mile for a Military Veteran and vegetarian completely changed my view of City BBQ!

The experience begins when you step out of your car, the aroma is subtle, and the look is modern but homey. When you open the door and step in you know it's a good BBQ place. The open kitchen shows off how clean everything is.
The food was great, it had good portions, the smokey taste was evident and enhanced the flavor. The BBQ sauce is fantastic. It's all great!

Shout out to someone who should get employee of the year award! This is my first time going to a city barbecue drive-through Woodstock and I was so excited. I turned around and made a U-turn super late night almost at 9 o’clock when it’s about to close you’re a cashier at the window named DeAndre gave me a five star restaurant quality service at a drive-through he was so patient and a true gentleman. I haven’t had that experience for a long time. Thank you for making my long day at work so memorable just a very genuine sweet kid sometimes you meet faces and you know they will get far in life because of how kind they are I really hope he gets a raise. City barbecue should be lucky to have him running drive-through. I’ll be back again and again because of Deondre thank you again!!!

My family has been on a quest to find the best brisket in Atlanta and the search is over. This is it! I don't know how they manage to get the right mix of lean and fatty Everytime - maybe it's just their technique... but it's right every time. Great flavor on its own, but awesome sauces available if you must.But the review isn't over, on no.. There are more bests to be had here. Somehow the ribs are even better than the brisket. Right at the perfect edge of fall off the bone and a good meaty bite. The seasoning is perfect, no sauce required. It's glorious. But if you managed to restrain yourself and leave room for dessert, you are in for a real treat. The banana pudding is the best I've ever had. Anywhere. Ever. Get it whether you have room or not!
