I really am not particularly picky but I had possibly the worst corned beef and cabbage I have ever had yesterday. Everything came waist deep in some sort of extremely overly salty brine and there was almost no cabbage to be found. Maybe a teaspoon and a half if we are being generous. If you’re going to charge $19 for this type of plate you at least have to have a little bit of attention to detail and to pass this thing out swimming in juices (just look at it) with such off portions is wild. Also saltiest corned beef I’ve ever had and it had my stomach in a lurch all day yesterday. Feel like the location used to be better years back but the last year or two seems like every other plate is underwhelming due to execution of some type and for the price it feels like you are being punished for taking your chances here.

A lovely, cozy and authentic Irish Pub. Had the Nutty Irish (Hazelnut Liquer, sweet cream & coffee) and the flatbread, both of which came out at the perfect temp and tasted amazing. Music was nice & a great volume. Booths are sizeable, service is quick, beer cheese is AMAZING. Will be returning!

I have been a regular here for quite some time. There have been quite a few times where I have sat on the patio and the servers have not recognized me for quite a while. I would normally order a drink, and then it would take a very long time for them to get back to me. Tonight was one of the nights where I ordered a couple of drinks and the server did not get back to me and asked me if I wanted something to eat. I’m just very disappointed.

Corned Beef was amazing. The potatoes were excellent, very flavorful cabbage. Compliments to the chef! Everything was perfect.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our server, Cadence, was very lovely and sweet, got us everything we asked for. My friends dog came along and he was welcomed with open arms and offered water as soon as we sat down. I got the pretzel bites with beer cheese and the sweet and spicy mac and they were delicious. Overall great experience, highly recommended :)

I love coming to Donovan’s with my partner. Whenever we need a great place to just get away chat and have great food we come here. I worst thing I could say is there’s nothing bad about Donovan’s. The cobbler is spectacular, I’ve never had a bad meal here. My partner is vegetarian and they always go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated. Thank you Donovan’s for being amazing.

I've been coming here for a few years now. I have been here late night and for dinner. Big groups and tables for two. I visited yesterday and the service was spot on as usual. The servers and managers here care about the quality of the food and service. I have had beef stew here, shepherds pie, steak and frites, fish and chips, and some of the appetizers. What stood out to me yesterday was my food was served hot and fresh but the kitchen decided the portion was too small and prepared more and brought it out before I could say anything. Most places don't have gestures like this anymore. Portions here are more than fair, there is ample parking, a large patio, and a full bar. I live in Kennesaw but will continue to make the trek to Donovan's.
