By far the best takeout I’ve ever had. Found this place when looking up MSG free Chinese food, and gave it a shot despite the longer drive. I treated myself once a week when I lived in Woodstock, and the quality was always consistently amazing. Not hit or miss like the places I usually go to. Now every time I’m in the area, I stop by. Well I'm very disappointed to say this is probably the worst Chinese food I have had since The last time I ate at one of those cheap all you can eat Chinese food buffets. I wish I knew how to recognize ahead of time when the food is going to be of this type and quality of Chinese food because it is absolutely terrible. It is not consistent with what you get at other delivery Chinese food restaurants it is of the very very low grade wear everything is far over breaded. The lo mein is overcooked and mushy. And everything else you can imagine is deep fried out of a freezer bag. It was so bad I actually saved their number in my phone so I would not forget an accidentally order from them in the future.

The lady behind the counter never looked at us never spoke to us never said a word, have a seat or I’ll be with you in a moment or anything. She sat back down and started looking at her phone. I told her have a good night. She still did not look up. We will not be back!

Golden House is the best Chinese takeout place in the Woodstock/Canton area. I've eaten here twice and been very satisfied both times. The food is freshly cooked and flavorful. Get the hot and sour soup!

I went there for my 1st time tonight ! I got chicken Lo- mein which was delicious ?One order is definitely enough for 2 people ! The owners are so sweet ! I’ll definitely be coming back !
