Just came on to say that Ashlynn gave AMAZING service!! She’s so alive, joyful, and all round helpful!! If I ever come back I’ll be requesting her!! She made the mediocre food taste so much better because of her service!! We never had to ask for a refill because she was truly so on top of it and she made sure we had everything we could ask for!! Make her employee of the month, she was truly amazing when we were in a few days ago!

So over priced for the food. For 2 meals, and very obviously frozen fries and okra, it's absolutely not worth it. $54 for 2 meals!!
The 1/2 chicken was over cooked and dry. The wings were ok. But $17 for 10 wings???? Really? I expected better. Hush puppies were too sweet and chewy. The buffalo and sweet heat tasted exactly the same.
The sides of bbq sauce were left out.
I wish I can have the tip back that I left. If you're asking for a tip for take out, then make absolutely sure the order is right.
I won't be back.

Tuesday night trivia, Wednesday night .50 cent wings, Sunday all you can eat brunch buffet. Ask for meggan, she is a great srever!

Definitely the worst brisket I’ve ever had. There was zero smoke flavor and the only thing that made it edible was the sauce. It was closer to a pot roast than smoked brisket…very disappointing.

Great food grade of service. Great atmosphere. All I can say is when I got there they were complaining cuz I had no help, still did a killer job for having no help. Best I can tell. It was my birthday and they also gave me a free sample of their delicious banana cream pie, it was actually really freaking bomb. We just didn't get any because I had cake at home.

JD's BBQ tasted better than I expected. Meghan our was very accommodating and attentive. My family really enjoyed themselves. We will be back.

Food is amazing! But I was sat directly under a vent that had condensation dripping on me not to mention there was a wet floor sign right behind me.

I come here about every 3-6 months. I’ve had some really good brisket here in the past. After my last visit today, it may be the last. Brisket was tasteless and so dry I couldn’t even eat it. The sides and service were the only saving grace.

Lady at to go area was rude and was talking to other employees instead of taking care of business. She needs to work more, talk less

Really enjoyed the brisket, chicken tenders, mac n cheese, fried okra, and spicy collard greens. They say their pork is the top seller on their menu, but IMO did not really measure up to the brisket. Wish we tried the bbq chicken! Would consider going back to Acworth just to eat at JD’s BBQ.

It’s takes a special talent to mess up BBQ in the south…. But JD’s managed to pull it off. This was the work pulled pork I have ever had. Zero flavor, mushy texture…. Not sure how they managed it, but the fried green tomatoes looked and felt like cardboard but tasted like vile There are literally dozens of better BBQ places.

I work across the street from here, and it's torture to smell in the parking lot at work. The food is always good, and the servers are super nice!

Some of the best barbecue ive had, there might be better but so far this is the best.
Service is great, never an issue there.
Prices can be pricey but if careful you can spend sub 15.
Highly recommend, especially the loaded potatoes!

The food is tasteless the meat is dry and the priceses are OUTRAGEOUSLY INSANE 11 dollars for and order of onion rings pulled pork sandwich had no taste but the coleslaw was good needless to say I'll NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN IF U WANT GOOD BBQ PASS JDS KEEP DRIVING FOR ABOUT 2.5 miles and go to SMOKIES BBQ
