This Jimmy John’s is the slowest Jimmy John’s ever. I don’t know if they need to hire more workers or what. There were 3 cars in the drive thru and it took me 20 minutes to get my food. And don’t come at me I had my son in the car and was unable to go inside.

I like JJ subs. They're consistently tasty and their team at this location is usually pretty accurate with customisations. What I hate right now is then dumping their delivery over to Uber Eats at times. The motto is freaky fast, but whenever it's transferred to Uber Eats for delivery it takes an hour to get a sub. I strongly dislike soggy subs, and sitting in a car for 45 minutes if you get any oil or condiments on the sub, just ruins it.

I went in the Woodstock store today with my two young children 8 & 5. It was about 5:15ish and I ordered to kids plain slims - only meat and cheese for the kids and two sandwiches for myself and my friend - as well as chips and bottle of water and soda for kids nothing for me. When I paid there was one other family in the restaurant and a line of cars in the drive through. We paid and sat down and my kids ate their chips..then after 15 mins I’ve noticed about 7 cars get served through drive thru but my kids meals aren’t even started…so I go to ask and a woman aggressively says “you’re coming - I’m short staffed” but I didn’t say anything…so I said fine then walked to the counter to ask atleast for the cup and water since my kids are just sitting waiting - and the same woman came over and got aggressive again and said “she’s not even supposed to be here” and told me to “just be patient”….that was rude af and I’m not in the mood for this but I don’t want to fight so I took a breathe and asked for a refund - but offered to pay for the chips…the woman is now in a huff and the other two gentlemen are just watching her now berate me in front of my children and only rang up the chips - but refused to give me a receipt for the refund…I asked when it will hit and she said prob tomorrow…and I asked for her name - to say who do I say helped me if it doesn’t go back through since you won’t provide a receipt- so then she began taunting me saying “what are you going to do, complain” so I responded no - but now I’m pretty pissed I’ve been yelled at in this restaurant now by this angry woman and I’m done. I asked what is her problem and why is she so aggressive and hostile - so she started yelling and said get out of her store.
Then I said I’d gladly leave and she told me to “yea get out and call corporate I don’t care”
I own a small business in the shopping center down the street on that road. I actually just purchased it and we’re doing a lot of community involvement with other businesses and JJ has been my kids favorite place so I had intended on seeing about a marketing partnership…however I will not be doing that now and to be honest I am done eating at Jimmy John’s.
You can check the tape but that manager woman was aggressive, hostile and just rude. Going to be sharing this experience with ALL of my customers going forward fyi - it’s a small community so word will travel.
Anyways - thanks to that store for ruining the sandwich shop experience there for me and my kids and for berating me in front of them. And I know she doesn’t care about customer satisfaction- but fyi even my 5 year old son when we left and he said “she was not nice daddy…I don’t like Jimmy John’s anymore”. Kids are perceptive.
Eat here at your own risk. Not a pleasant experience at all.

They’re always nice people/kids BUT every single time for well over a year it’s been Really Freaky Slow, not Freaky Fast. Even when I try to order online before I left the house, still it just took 30 minutes from when the order was placed (for one single sandwich). Pick a different Jimmy John’s like the one by 575 (and save yourself 27 minutes) or even Publix subs right next door which would be faster and more tasty.
Updated: just read all the other reviews. It appears the owners are well aware and it’s a chronic problem. They have done nothing to correct it and only post a form response to each review. There is a consistent pattern.
If you choose to dine- In at this JJ location… don’t bother. They only care about drive through and take out orders as their top priority. You will be invisible.

Is it me or has the service been extremely slow lately- I’ve gone through drive thru, ordered delivery, and gone in in the last 3 weeks and I feel like freaky fast just turned into freakishly slow. And my bread has been hard on the bottom the last 2 times. Order time 1:08 it is 1:44 still no food. I live 3 minutes from the place. 1:55 order arrived. This is this locations new norm. Something has seriously changed in the last 6 months with this location.
