I have gotten a few different things on the menu the last few times I went and all of them were better than I expected. The chicken quesadilla was delicious and far better than what you'd expect considering it's pretty cheap! On my most recent visit I got the enchiladas and they were also really good!

I ate out with my Aunt and Uncle during a brief visit to Georgia. We ate here and it was very good. Both my Aunt and Uncle were able to take a doggie bag home. The employees were very nice and professional.

I have been a regular patron for years ( over 30) and last night the staff at Monterey came through for me and I could not be more grateful. My office was hosting an open house and the caterer that my boss hired no- showed and 30 minutes before everyone was supposed to arrive we had NO food. I immediately called Monterey frantically trying to put together a catering order. They jumped in and helped me and had a large order ready within 30 minutes. I have no words for how grateful we are to them for their help and kindness. Obviously after thirty years I’ve known how good their food is and I always recommend them to my friends , but after last night everyone in Cherokee county will know how amazing they are if I have anything to say about it.

Nice stop! Your typical Mexican restaurant done really well. All your favorites and a few less common ones. I opted for the Veggie combo with enchiladas and a fajita. The wife got amazing shrimp chimichangas. Great service from Susan!
