Don't bother with the spot across the street. This one is the gem.

We had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time and finally decided to have dinner there. When we walked in, several staff members looked at us but no one greeted us or approached. After a moment, one waitress briefly acknowledged us and said she’d be with us shortly.

When she returned, she asked if we had reservations and seemed noticeably displeased when we said no. She told us we could be seated, but only if we agreed to leave by 7:00 PM because the table was reserved—this was at 5:30 PM. We agreed, but the tone felt unwelcoming from the start.

Throughout the meal, the service was cold and unfriendly. We felt like our presence was an inconvenience. The main waitress appeared irritated the entire time, and the other servers looked uncomfortable, as though they were under pressure and unsure how to behave.

We ordered three different pizzas. When they arrived—carried by two servers—we asked which one was which, and they had no idea. They told us we would need to ask “our” waitress unless we remembered what we ordered. Very odd. The pizzas themselves were just okay.

Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and disappointing. We will not be returning.

Loved the Neapolitan pizzas. Dough was excellent and the toppings were all very high quality. Will definitely come back. Reservations on the weekends are highly recommended!

My husband took my daughter here for a special daddy–daughter date and unfortunately the experience fell far short of what we’d hoped.

Ordered the pork shank confit with white bean stew and basil oil. The dish arrived swimming in a yellow oil, and only found about three beans in the entire bowl. The pork itself tasted extremely fatty me and lacked flavor.
My daughter ordered the angel hair pasta with tomato sauce, but the sauce was so thin it was almost see-through, with a few tomato chunks. She said it tasted like “dish water,” and he actually had to tell her to stop eating it. Since she didn’t finish it, the complimentary gelato wasn’t offered—so he just ended up buying it for her.
The open-kitchen concept didn’t add much to the experience either; from where we sat, the person cooking didn’t appear to be enjoying what they were doing. Staff interactions also felt unfriendly during our visit.
Overall, this wasn’t the warm, memorable dinner we were hoping for, and I don’t see us returning.

We had high expectations about this restaurant but service ruined the entire experience for us. We were really captivated by the fact that they employed people with disabilities and few reviews about the food. But our waiter who was on a wheelchair really made every effort to make us feel unwelcome, from the time she greeted us, until the time she brought the food, the really annoyed behavior to every single question resonated with our entire family, it was far beyond what we should have taken. There was another younger server same attitude in an empty restaurant on a Sat afternoon. Food was not that great either. We will not come back.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Italian restaurant! Everything is homemade — from the pasta and sauces to the pizza dough — and you can taste the love and care in every bite. The highlight for us was the fig pizza, which was truly unforgettable. It had the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savory flavors that kept us wanting more. The gelato was just as incredible, rich and creamy with authentic Italian flavor.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel like family. The owner and his wife are wonderful — their passion for food and hospitality shines through in the entire experience. This is not just a meal, it’s a unique and delicious experience we can’t wait to enjoy again. Highly recommend!

Wow AMAZING!!! We just had lunch at this restaurant after wanting to go for pizza. Their pizza oven is legit and the dough is off the charts. You don’t get that stuffed feeling. We initially had the mozzarella tasting which was delicious from the calebrese pepper to the orange rind jam. Their pizza was amazing as well with the wonderful prosciutto and white sauce. The gelato could be the best I’ve ever had. I wasn’t expecting to find a flagship Italian restaurant but this will now be our go to for pizza and Italian.

We had doubts that we could get a good Italian meal in the heart of Woodstock but we were wrong. The food was delicious and my husband had the owner/chef at our table talking all things Italy. We will absolutely go back.

We wanted this to be okay, the pasta was not good. I got a tomato based sauce with ricotta, it was really just salted pasta water with tomato chunks and ricotta.

The meat and cheese board was delightfully creative with more fun and thoughtful elements than other Italian restaurants. The margarita pizza and my gnocchi was also great. Both had a wonderfully light and bright tomato sauce.
