“We were walking down the Front st and saw this appealing cafe and decided to stop by for drinks. Also ordered some small bites and i must say their eel nigiri is amazing. Shrimp tacos are good as well, but their drinks were just so so unfortunately. We tried there different ones and they all were just bland. Overall food is amazing, drinks are so so. They also don't have any beer on draft, in case you are wondering.”

“Just happened to see this spot passing by on my way to Charleston so I doubled back to check this place out, I ended up getting the Oxtails with white rice and a side of cabbage and greens, they definitely give more than enough food with is fine with me and the food is definitely delicious from the oxtails well cooked and prepared, wish I could have got some curry chicken but next time I definitely will, overall experience was great with no complaints at all.”

“From the food to the service, Root has everything you want in a local restaurant. We love the Waygu Sliders and Grouper Bites for appetizers. The Flounder is my favorite dinner item, and my kids always order the pasta with chicken. The food is excellent, prices are great, and the people are good. It's a welcoming place, y'all.”
“We were seated near the kitchen, so the noise level was too high. The host said they are working on this issue, so I think it will be corrected. Otherwise I rate this restaurant very high for a hotel restaurant in a small town.”

“I had lunch with four friends at the Ball & Cue. They offered 3 lunch specials which included 3 sides and either cornbread or a roll. I had the fried chicken, which was delicious. We left a 20% tip and still spent less than $65 total for the five of us. I highly recommend and will be going back there often.”

“Tyrese is on to something with this grown and sexy lounge in Georgetown. Definitely need to keep this and love that it's 30 and up crowd! Tired of going places where they let anyone 21 and up in and they ruin the atmosphere.”

“This was our first time at this place. When we walked in we were greeted with a big smile and hello. The lady that took our order was very nice. The hot Italian sub was absolutely delicious. The crinkle fries were very hot and good. The side salad is a little plain but had a very pretty presentation when served. I would definitely recommend this place. My husband and I enjoyed our dinner and it was priced right.”

“Chose to sit outside by the bar on such a beautiful day. Cathryn provided lovely service and was attentive our whole visit. I couldn't decide which beer to go with and asked to just have a taste of one of them. She was so kind to bring a smidge of a taste of the other 2 I was curious about. Winyah Bay Pineapple White Boots Ale was light and fruity (yum), cool that it's made in house! For dinner we ordered the French Dip sandwich and Blueberry Jalapeno Shrimp tacos (interesting combination but wow it was actually pretty good). We enjoyed both of our meals so much we didn't leave a fry.”

“My husband and I went here on a whim for our 3 year wedding anniversary and we are so happy we did! We wanted to try some place new without reading reviews or menus ahead of time. This place is certainly a hidden gem! The entire staff were so personable! They truly cared about our experience there. The waiter was awesome and hooked us up with some super delicious desert! The owner was very involved in his business which is certainly a reflection of how well it is run. I highly recommend dining here! We will definitely be going back there soon! Thank you Tuscany Bistro for a great experience and delicious food!”

“Ordered the Texas Fajita. Food was good. Price was very high! $26 for one order. We are used to paying $15-20 for one order, but $26 was too high and the food was not amazing! They put too much green bell peppers and onions. Half of the portion was only green bell peppers and onions!”
“Great people and friendly atmosphere, very clean and well managed, makes you feel at home and you have always been there, it was my first time there .... joining club I give it 5 stars .... Merrill G. Hedrick III aka bob cat with Donna Denean Smith Hicks”
“Local dive bar located on Georgetown’s scenic Harborwalk serving lunch, dinner and drinks. Simple bar interior with booths, bar and pool tables with nautical and beer sign motif. Outdoor back deck offers a panoramic view of the Georgetown Harbor. Surprisingly after finding our original dining destination closed, the adjacent restaurant had a hour and half wait was that this place was empty. Two locals claimed a couple barstools around the bar and the rest of the dining area was ours. Basic bar menu was appetizers, salads, baskets, burgers and sandwiches/wraps. First, we shared the Gator Bites with fried breaded Gator meat served with a spicy mango sauce. Interesting taste and texture that went nice with the side sauce that had a bit of heat. Our Shrimp Po Boy came with a choice of fried, grilled or blackened shrimp served with lettuce and tarter on a multigrain kaiser bun. Simple tater sauce flavor and chunky shrimp texture. A side of crispy fries a plus.”

“I've eaten sushi from the best restaurants in LA, and I can earnestly tell you that this is the best sushi and hibachi in Georgetown. Excellent quality and very delicious. I'm so happy I found this place. It's my absolute favorite, and if you're on the fence about trying them, don't be. Run, don't walk, to this hidden gem. You won't regret it.”

“We stopped in for breakfast. The Philly Cheesesteak omelet was good. The pancake were a little doughy for my taste. But the eggs and hashbrowns were delicious. But it is a hometown dinner feel, a little dated, but still a great place.”

“Absolutely a unique restaurant!! Food is unique and tastes amazing. Not your typical burger and chicken tender menu. We had bourbon pecan chicken and the quail. Absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The atmosphere is amazing on the water. You have the entire view of the river. The vibe and decor is very relaxing and unique!! Just overall an amazing place and experience. Will definitely be our go to place!”

“Definitely had that old timey feel to it. The building is dated, as is the interior, which is the first thing you see, but that's not a bad thing. We ordered a couple pizzas and we're very happy with our meal. Plenty of toppings and a great taste.Only downside was that the serving staff never came around to handle drink refills and I had to grab the attention of someone (after some effort) to get a to go box.Overall, good place and I would recommend eating there if you get a chance.”

“A lot of food for your money. Friendly service. Most people take their orders to-go as the size of the restaurant only accommodates around ten tables & a few are close together.”
“As someone who's had rolled ice cream many times at various places, Harvest Moon is doing that style of ice cream very well! The prices are fair considering how big the serving is; anyone who says otherwise doesn't know how much effort goes into the practice of making rolled ice cream. It's prepared right in front of you, and it's got a very fresh taste! I had the Strawberry Cheesecake, and it came filled with ice cream rolls, topped with bits of cake and whip cream and strawberry syrup. I was also pleasantly surprised that they added one of my favorite candies to the toppings; strawberry pocky!I recommend trying them if you'd like something new to try in Georgetown. It's only pricey compared to *regular* ice cream shops. You can't compare a scooped cone to hand rolled fresh ice cream. It's worth the splurge! The girls were very nice and pleasant as well. Good staff.”

“I have to say of all the different states and Taco bells I have been to , this restaurant had the freshest food. So that's why it received a five-star from me. It was very late at night nothing else was open and I didn't really eat all day .But the food was super fresh and I appreciate that. The service was even very friendly.”
