Very disappointing experience at BBQ Chicken Aiea. We waited almost an hour for a single order, even though we were the only customers waiting at the time. There was no explanation, no updates, and no sense of urgency at all.
On top of that, the cashier was extremely rude and clearly lacked proper training. Instead of addressing the delay professionally, the attitude made the experience even worse.
Poor service, long wait, and bad customer handling. Definitely not what you expect, and I won’t be coming back.

The food was absolutely amazing. We got the galbi wings, garlic honey wings, cheesling fries and the new creamy cheese balls. The texture of the wings was incredible. Very crispy and the sauce didn't make the wings soggy at all. The sauce ration on the wings was perfect. It wasn't over powering but not under seasoned either. Some of the best wings I've eaten on island. The fries were also very good. Great texture and seasoned very well. Not soggy or greasy either. The new creamy cheese balls were a but underwhelming however. They were interesting to say the least. They had a slight sweetness to them and the testure wasn't the best. They are worth trying at least once but not our favorite.
They have a list of common allergens and which items contain certain ingredients. I have not seen this in most restaurants and it was very nice to see.
The atmosphere was nice. A bit small for the location but still had a lot of seating and temperature was comfortable and not too cold. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly and professional. Always great to see. Sounds like they really enjoied their job as well because we heard quite a bit of laughter. Great atmosphere overall.
We will definitely be adding this place to our list of favorites and will be returning to try all of their other flavors.
