Good Korean style chicken. Lots of different sauce options. I thought it just had slightly too much breading. I got 10 boneless wings which are considered "half" and it was about $18. Slightly overpriced but that's Hawaii. I would recommend getting something else with the chicken. I got the special sauce and it was good, and it just had a slight kick which was nice. I ordered to go, don't forget to grab the utensils though because it wasn't in the bag.

If you want some Korean Chicken, go check it out. They had some good Korean drinks available too.

This was my first time at bb.q Chicken Aiea location, and I appreciated the designated parking up front, especially since the parking lot can be pretty busy.

Overall, my daughter and I had a great experience. The customer service was excellent, the ambiance was nice, and it was very clean and bright inside, which made it feel welcoming.

We ordered the honey garlic chicken plate with mac salad. bb.q Chicken never disappoints when it comes to their chicken! It's always meaty, crispy, and the sauces are packed with flavor. However, the mac salad was a bit of a letdown -- just pasta with too much mayo for my taste. I'll be opting for the coleslaw next time. We also ordered the rose Ddeok Bokki again, which was a nice addition to our meal.

The prices are reasonable for the portions you get, so overall, I'll recommend this spot for some Korean chicken and more!

I ordered the Secret Sauced half chicken and Honey Garlic fries. My Total came out to about $30. I thought the food was really good, the secret sauce was perfect for the wings and they were cooked almost perfectly. My main complaint is the price. Paying $8 for fries and almost $20 for 10 wings is a bit outrageous for me. Also seating is not a lot so keep in mind if you plan on dining in.

Sitting here for 20 minutes waiting for my order. Young woman at the counter has not smiled even once during this entire time.?

I asked (before I ordered) if they were doing mini pieces of chicken, rather than full sized wings. Was told pieces were approximately 3-4”. Said ok, needed to know since they’re charging NINETEEN dollars for NINE pieces of chicken. Pieces had lots more batter than chicken. Definitely felt ripped off for $19.00!!

The wait is long but the chicken is amazing. Favorite fried chicken wings.

It's just sugar chicken. Like Kung pao sauce, but sweeter. If you are without a sugar addiction, it just makes you nauseated and you start picking the tempura batter off to get to the meat. I get that Hawaiians like their Korean stuff sweet (H Mart store made ban chan is sweet, but the stuff in bags from Korea is Not). Wouldn't go back unless they have a dry rub or something.

After reading all the marvelous reviews, we decided to try this place so We went at 11:30 in the morning, parking was easier. 3 customers waiting on chicken, so we placed our order. Chicken we received was overcooked in what tasted like old shortening l. Employee who took the order was not very friendly. Yeah we won’t go there again.

Probably my number one wing place right now. Loving the Korean style wings vs the wet/soggy American style. Remember to get the pickled daikon the gravy fries here are fire for some reason.

Love their secret sauced chicken! It’s the popular chicken sauce based in chili paste. bb.q chicken probably tastes the closest to what you will get in Korea compared to other places in Oahu. So I absolutely recommend their chicken. However, ordering over the phone is extremely challenging. It’s been a hit or miss kind of experience for me for MULTIPLE occasions. I decided to write this review because yesterday was one of those days. I failed to order over the phone because they weren’t simply answering. Hope this gets better in the future.
