“So, I am a total townie. To me, going past Chinatown is going to the boonies. Going to Aiea and taking the freeway is like going to another country where you don't know how to drive. Well, I took the adventure and it was totally worth it to check out this place. Had tried before, but unfortunately, they were still closed due to COVID restrictions. After thinking about trying to go again, I found the time and couldn't believe what I was missing out on all this time. The food is just amazing. I've had Taiwanese soups of many kinds over the years, but their Cow Wow beef noodle soup was by far the best I have ever had. Lots of excellent meat, rich broth and spiced perfectly. My partner had the Fooki Belly plate and I was amazing with the pork that was so perfectly cooked and so flavorful with fatty yumminess. We also got the Grandpa Rolling Beef, which was like an Asian crepe burrito. It was fantastic as well, but didn't really need so much plum sauce on it and would ask for it on the side when we go back again. The place has a certain Asian kitschy sheik to it, like something with a Shanghai old movie feel. They are super cautions with COVID safety and maybe can ease up just a bit, but I do appreciate their efforts to keep themselves as well as their dinners safe. If this place were to open up another location in the Honolulu area, I would probably be there way to much. Maybe it is a good thing that they are out of my normal travel comfort limits, so that it makes it extra special when I go back again for their amazing food.”

“The service and food here is absolutely fantastic! The Prime Rib Loco Moco, is the star of the show. I couldn’t finish, but thoroughly enjoyed, 10 ounces, of Prime Rib, over a bed of rice, with brown gravy, and 2 eggs, over medium, on top. Welcome to perfection on a plate. My friend said the fried chicken, was the best she had ever eaten. Next time, the Nutella pancakes, with banana, or should I get the tres leches, strawberry beignets….They are open 7-3 every day. They offer three different discount discounts Monday through Friday. Military, senior (62) or Early Bird. 7-8am. Be hungry. Enjoy!”

“Fantastic experience, the broth (we got Tonkatsu but they have nine other types) was amazing and roiling hot out of the kitchen. It's nice to be able to pick what goes into your ramen as often time at other restaurants there's always something that I'm not too big a fan of, or nothing enough of something I like. The sever was attentive and wonderfully friendly. After a tasty hot meal you get to cool down with a free shave ice dessert (with Ramen purchase) which, like everything else, was delicious. My partner got the thai tea and said it was great. For the price and the customization options, I can't recommend it enough.”

“My husband and I spent 24 hours in Honolulu and discovered this wonderful Thai Bistro! The service was very friendly and attentive to our preferences. We ordered spring rolls, brown rice, Penang chicken curry, and green curried chicken. Oh, the flavors were perfectly blended! It’s the best Thai food we’ve had outside of Thailand. We highly recommend Thai Bistro Suksabay!”

“If you're looking for some roast pork, chicken or duck come here. It's a pick up and go place so don't expect a place to sit unless you find some outside in the plaza. If you're looking for simple, great tasting roasted meat on rice or crispy noodles this is the place. It's simple and delicious. The menu isn't extensive. Other than those roasted meats there's also ginger chicken that I particular love.

The cost of the food here is a great value as well. Each plate I got was enough to feed 2 or 3 people. I would recommend getting a mix of the meats and share. It was all good.”

They offer full or small plates on most dishes.
Being raised in an Italian household with a mom who was a tremendous cook, this place is a close second.
Highly recommend this out of the way place.

“I was excited to try this place after hearing lots of positive reviews. I was going to order online but was not pleased with the additional fees driving up the cost when the pizzas are already crazy expensive. We ended up going to order in person to avoid those fees only to be charged a 3% fee for using a credit card. Also the menu in person has higher prices than online. The pizza is huge and it is good but too expensive. $30 for a pepperoni pizza, $45 for specialty pizzas? Crazy to me!”

“Lovely place for Italian food. The dishes are hearty and you will always leave with leftovers, just the portion sizes you're getting what you paid for. Food is served hot as it is prepared. The dishes usually come out at the same time or within a few minutes of each other. Too many great dishes for me to suggest, but my favorite puupuu (appetizer) would be the cheesy garlic bread..Servers are sweet and make sure you are taken care of, you are never forgotten here. Dessert lilkoi cheesecake..omg!! Not too big a restaurant so nice atmosphere for a date night, family get together, lunch meeting. We usually go after church.. must try guys!”

“We finally tried Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles at Pearlridge Mall, and OMG… the original pork bone soup was SO good! 🤤 The broth was flavorful and comforting, definitely one of my favorites.

We also ordered the mixed rice noodles with pig cutlet and pig’s ear, and everything was really good. We also got some dim sum on the side and honestly, we loved everything we ordered!

The place was clean, the service was awesome, and everyone was so friendly and lovely. They were very welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

This was definitely a pleasant surprise. I didn’t really know what to expect going in, but we ended up enjoying everything. If you like noodles, flavorful soups, and trying something a little different, definitely give this place a try!

I was hoping to get the ube slice of pie, but they didn't have anymore 🥺 The place is small, so there is not a seating area in or outside.”

Must try their oxtail pho! Oxtail has a lot meat and pcs. So far I have not had highblood when I finish my oxtail pho which is good that’s why I keep coming back. I know that when I finish my bowl I won’t have any problems (but that’s my experience). Pho Time is my go to for oxtail pho, bun bu hue, and pho in general.

“A great stop after Aiea hike! Small mom and pop shop, she also uses real fruits to make smoothie! Ask her what is in season and she can make you the best fruits smoothie!! We got papaya mango and strawberry mango. I also got pearl but other reviews were right. she overcooked them so its a little too soft but would just come back for the smoothies”

“I made an order through the app and went to this location to pick up my order but I found out that I made the mistake of putting the order in at the wrong location. The manager there was nothing but amazing. He took my order anyway and said don't worry about it. Please keep this manager because he knows how to work in customer service. I messed up but he still took care of me anyway. I didn't get his name but thank you to that manager for going above and beyond in customer service. The workers there though need to learn more from the manager. They didn't handle the situation as well.”

“This place is where Kuru-kuru used to be. They revamped the place by taking away the conveyor belt and converted it to sit down style.
The food was amazing! We had the bento with the tempura, sushi plate with hamachi, salmon and ordered spicy tuna nigiri (this one was the best). You can also mix & match the sushi.
The fish was fresh and tasty and the tempura was one of the best I've had; the batter was thin and flavorful.
Miso soup was very tasty and the tea is free.
