“Ordered spicy salmon and spicy ahi with sushi rice on DoorDash, and it was honestly top TWO poke places I’ve had so far in Oahu.

I’ve tried multiple Foodlands, I’ve tried the Morning Catch place in Chinatown that was famous on TikTok, and I will say that this place has some really tasty and enjoyable poke.

I also want to add that they add a nice reusable big with the doordash order too.”

“Chilling with my niece and nephew in the center of a supermarket sipping on a glass of red wine and eating some really delicious pupu’s from Pau Hana Bar located inside Foodland Farms Pearl City.

Everything we eat here has a local touch to it but the highlight for us is always the Sizzling Ribeye Steak with Onions and Mushrooms served with a Butter Kabayaki Sauce. It was fire!

We also had the Pan Fried Ahi Belly Chinese Style, Ika Karaage, Gojuchang Fried Chicken Wings, Ahi Poke, Shishito Peppers, Furikake Salmon Salad and the Fried Rice.

Love the vibe and atmosphere here and the service is always top notch. I love how they all work together and there is always somewhere within reach if you need anything.”

“My friend host her husband birthday party today. I've been here 3 other times. Today take top prize on service and foods. The foods was soooo flavorful. From the variety of 4 different salads to main courses and desserts. I could not stop talking about the flavors. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Not too salty, not too sweet, not bland. Just the exact perfect balance. I don't recall even at a 5 stars restaurants with every single items being perfectly seasoned. I ate everything! Except for the almond cookies and gau. These culinary students have big potential in their future. The instructor,hats off to you!!! The beef pepper, the eggplant. Soooo delicious. Great job!”

“The owner works hard & his hulihuli chicken is authentic. Right next to Mānana 7-11 on sunny days. It's whole chicken, too. Juicy & he will chop for you. Some places are only doing quarters. Picked up for the Holloway fight & was done before the fight ended!”

“I was told that the owners of Miki’s opened this business to serve food for all the people working graveyard shift or finished work late.

With that being said, this place has the best food anywhere in this time frame 12am - 3am. Miki’s is an amazing change of food choices for late at night.

-The plates are cheaper with big servings compared to other places.
-Lines get long but the wait time after ordering is never past 10 minutes.
-Parking is fun because it’s either on the curb or the side of the street.

People reviewing this place needs to realize this hole-in-the-wall food business is meant for people like me. Those who work late into the night, that’s my demographic. If you’re comparing this place to Zippys or anything like that, then go there shut up. This place makes all their food with love, that beats anything opened after hours to me, no 7/11, McDonald’s, no fast food place can compete that.”

After my dual procedure a few doors down at the Pacific Endoscopy Center, I knew I’d be super hungry afterwards so my husband picked up a Beef Donburi Bowl for me to take home. I really really enjoyed it. It hit the spot for me. Good portion of very tasty, soft and chewy beef, full of good flavor on a mound of well cooked rice. Few slivers of onions on top. He knows I don’t care for shoga (ginger) so he didn’t bother getting any but it is available if you want. Will definitely be back.”

“Had a really nice, first-time experience here recently. Big menu, something for everyone in your party. Service was quick. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner. The food was out about five minutes after ordering. Their regular entrees (saimins, curries, etc) are large portions. Honestly enough to share! Had leftovers at home and it was just as tasty as in the restaurant. 10/10!”

“We booked Sama Sama for our May 2025 wedding, and cannot say enough amazing things about their business! I had an unexpected issue come up with our initial late night snack vendor, and panicked trying to find another backup option. Thankfully, Sama Sama was quick to come to our rescue and accommodate a boba station and spam musubi for 75 guests. We selected two boba flavors, the Original Milk Tea and Calamansi Green tea, which were both delicious! The Calamansi Green Tea runs a bit on the sweeter side, but I'm sure you could ask for less sweetness if you prefer.

They had unbeatable pricing that included delivery, setup, and breakdown for our venue on the North Shore. So many guests were raving about this, and said the spam musubis were a perfect snack addition for those that drank a lot at the end of the night.

I would absolutely recommend Sama Sama for any catering/events, or even just stopping by to enjoy their full menu at their storefront! I can't wait to come back and try some of their other flavors!”

“This is the 1st time here and tried the bulgogi salad. The portion and price was good but most importantly the taste was excellent. It left me feeling satisfied without feeling bloated. The sauce was good and liked the apple slices to give it some sweetness.
