With that being said, this place has the best food anywhere in this time frame 12am - 3am. Miki’s is an amazing change of food choices for late at night.

-Lines get long but the wait time after ordering is never past 10 minutes.
-Parking is fun because it’s either on the curb or the side of the street.

People reviewing this place needs to realize this hole-in-the-wall food business is meant for people like me. Those who work late into the night, that’s my demographic. If you’re comparing this place to Zippys or anything like that, then go there shut up. This place makes all their food with love, that beats anything opened after hours to me, no 7/11, McDonald’s, no fast food place can compete that.“

“I always enjoy eating at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Even though it’s a chain, this location consistently has great food and does a really good job with the classics.

The katsu was cooked perfectly, the breading had the ideal crisp texture while the meat inside was tender and the sauce was flavorful. I also ordered the mixed BBQ plate, and everything on it was cooked well and tasted fresh.

The woman at the counter was also very friendly and kind, which made the experience even better. Great service always makes a difference.

Out of all the locations I’ve tried, this one is definitely my favorite. The food quality is consistently good, and it’s the spot I always look forward to coming back to.“

“I am a Miami to Alaska transplant and seek out great Cuban food and cafe’ whenever I travel. Castro’s is the real deal!! The Cuban Cafe’ is spot on and the French Toast with the Rum Sauce is off the charts!! Enough food to feed two! The owner is friendly & engaging as is the staff. Stop in, grab a Cafe’ and chill on the sidewalk seating while your breakfast is created..I say created because it is a true work of art…at least in my professional opinion.“

Parking is on the street or in the residential and then you walk. Just watch for your surroundings.“

The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. It’s a really cool area of dying with family, friends or coworkers and also there is parking lots of parking right behind. It is literally connected within the storage building. literally it is located across McKinley high school’s football field. It is such a jam. They have really good fish there. The ambience is calm. It’s pretty quiet and next-door they have other high-end restaurants. This is a really good area to be in if you want to hang out with people visiting and or just bonding.“

We tried the wings with harbenero and it had a lil honey to just make them perfect, the fried pork belly was light and crispy we really enjoyed everything. Especially the staff they are so welcoming. We found our perfect spot for great grindz and cocktails the are top level....RJ makes a mean smoked Manhattan and we also tried the gum sour which was a variation on the whiskey sour made with bubble gum liquor i think... “First of all, they have to trivia on Tuesdays, which is a pretty cool vibe. I initially stumbled upon this place by going there for an Oktoberfest event, and I've been pleasantly surprised ever since.

The space is very clean, and the coolest part about this shop is their incredible selection flexibility. If you're not digging what they have on tap, you can select literally anything from their massive options in the refrigerators. They will charge you a nominal $2 corkage/service fee to put it into a glass for you to enjoy right there!

Another great feature is that they even have some hard seltzer options if beer and wine are not your thing. It's also conveniently located in SALT Kakaʻako, so the energy and atmosphere around the area are pretty cool.

However, it was a bit slow. And don't expect your food to come out quickly. This is a small operation so expect freshly cooked for the table. Parking is the biggest complaint. That said, the headache of finding parking and the longer wait time is worth it for that chicken. An absolute must go for anyone.“

Cannot recommend her cakes enough for those who have gluten, dairy, and other dietary needs/ preferences. We had the double layered strawberry guava cake with coconut icing. The other touches like the authenticity, the ambience, and the service were also great. The chef was quite friendly and the staff was great. They do have an added, automatic gratuity of 20% but it is well earned and deserved. It may be better framed as a service fee or baked into the price, but that would be my only mention to set expectations. Other than that, every single option we chose on the menu (as a party of 2 we ordered 9 different items and each was a delight) not only reads well but is delicious! Their house made soy sauce served with a brush-tool as well as the wasabi in rice was a first time, unique culinary experience for us, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. I am a pretty good cook and like that when people prepare food good as well. The place a hole in the wall... no frills the service!!! Real good... the food. Hmmm. Let me tell you the plates were off the hook!! The short ribs great taste flavor soo good cook just the way I like it... Garlic Shrimp... o rank it up there as one of the best I ever ate. Actually better then the way I cook it. The mac salad... really completes the meal.... As Arnold said.... “I’ll be baaaak”“
