“We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated at an open table. Waters, menu, and table-ware were already on the table. We ordered Kamikaze roll, dancing shrimp roll, and stuffed mushrooms and everything was actually delicious (no there was no discount for me to write a review for them, its actually good). Plates were removed as soon as we finished one roll and the next was served. We dropped a chop stick and we're immediately given a new set. Check was served immediately when we finished the last roll too. We left very impressed.“

“Sushi Sho is truly one of my favorite omakase experiences anywhere in the world. I’ve had sushi in Japan, Korea, and across the U.S., and this place still stands out as one of the very best. I’ve already visited four times in the past six months.

Reservations are very difficult to get because the full experience is at the chef’s counter, and there are only a limited number of seats. But once you sit down and start the meal, you immediately understand why it’s so sought after.

The ingredients are exceptionally fresh, and every piece is prepared with incredible care and precision. Each visit has been memorable and honestly a little emotional in the best way. My personal favorite is the ankimo, which is absolutely outstanding.

All that being said, they serve fish that I’ve never found in a traditional sushi bar. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the unique flavors that I don’t usually get when I visit Tokyo. “Delicious, inventive, fun, intimate and so enjoyable. We did the 150 omakase. We were really full at the end. No bad dishes at all and some really were delicious. Yes it was a little difficult to find the restaurant after parking and no we didn't see any flying bugs that a few other guests mentioned. We had an amazing time.“

“Went there on a Tuesday about 1130a. There are a few free parking stalls at the store, but there's also free street and other store parking across the street. It's an old style okazuya atmosphere. I bought futomaki...old style flavor that i was looking for. It was quick service and I would come here again“

“Used to pick up a lot of orders for Door Dash from this restaurant but gave it a try myself today and glad I did! Food was delicious and all freshly made. I ordered the Tempura roll, Rainbow roll and Negi hama bento. The chef added an extra piece of fish on the Negi hama and a whole ahi roll for free! (Greatly appreciated). The free hot green tea is a nice touch also for sure. Will be back for sure the next time sushi calls to me.“

“We found this place on another online platform after going to the Dole Plantation. It is located in a strip mall that looks old and run down so we were skeptical. We located the restaurant in the corner of the lot (next to the Goodwill). We sent a scout in take a look prior lol. The scout gave us the all clear so we entered the restaurant, which was clean and had open tables. We were greeted by a nice man who took the time to get to know us and give us some island history. Ok to the food: There were 4 of us. Each ordered a different entree. 1. Spam hand roll and a tempura hand roll - deliciousness 2. Energy roll- this tasted very fresh and was a roll with eel and avocado on top with eel sauce- deliciousness 3. Ahi poke bento box- came out looking just like the picture on the menu( how many times does that happen!) lots of fresh fish and rolls- deliciousness 4. Tempura shrimp bowl with spicy sauce on top. Tempura shrimp Packed in a bowl on a bed of rice. - deliciousness 5. Spicy ahi poke bowl- came out with tons of fresh ahi covered in spicy mayo and sriracha sauce. - delicious if you like spicy fresh fish. This mom and pop shop deserves your business. The food (all of it) tasted fresh and made with care. I would not write it if it wasn’t true. They will serve you a complimentary miso soup to start ( no spoons here, sip out of cup!) “Omakase is special here. Everything had an extra element of nuanced flavor and treatment that is uncommon if not rare to find in most other sushi restaurants. You can tell by the first plate you're presented as starters. Tiny place, so plan on getting to greet and chat with others. Quality sushi! It's in a casual setting, but the quality and taste are not casual. There were many things I wanna try but finally decided on doing the chirashi bento.

Delicious and fatty fish! One thing you can tell if this place has good fish or not is by trying their red tuna. Quality places would give you a nice cut that's bright red with subtle mild fish flavor. Budget places will give you tuna that has a lot of ligaments and almost no fish flavor. Their red tuna was good, along with the ika (squid), negitoro (minced tuna), some fatty white fish, hamachi, crab meat (with light mayo), salmon and shrimp (although I wish it was amaebi instead). Their rice was also yummy with good seasoning and al dente texture.

Prices were not cheap but not ridiculous. I paid $24 for my bento, wish there's just a little more seafood. They have other options that are more affordable.

I went during week after 12:30pm and there was no line. I just walked up to the kiosk to browse what they had and placed my order. The card machine on the left of the screen also takes tap payment. There's also plenty of indoor and nice outdoor seating.

“We eat here at least twice a month. Food is always fresh and service is normally fast and friendly. The restaurant is fun and you order from your mobile device and the food is delivered via a train system that runs along the tables. I feel the prices are fair and they have the best French fries! Only complaint would be that this location is always very busy and we usually have to wait 15-30 minutes for a table.“

“Found this small restaurant as I walked around the area. Prices have increased from the menu I saw posted on here. Most are three dollars higher. There is a small seating area and I suppose you can eat there but this seems more like an order and go type of place. Food is decent. I found the portions to be spot on. I couldn’t finish my bento box and I took a bite of the poke bowl my wife ordered. Both were good. Fresh stuff. I’d recommend for sure.“

“Anytime I'm at the NEX or Commissary, I get a bite to eat here. The food is delicious, no matter what you get on the menu. I prefer the shrimp tempora. It's always crowded in the food court (just how food courts are), but getting food to go is good too.“

“Loads of choices ranging from sushi, bentos, donburis, and noodles to satisfy any Japanese food craving while on a time crunch. It was relatively slow when we walked in, around 5 in the evening on a Friday, and the food came out really fast. Prices were decent as well.

The dynamite chicken donburi bowl was definitely the best thing we ordered. The chicken well seasoned and delicious with a tasty spicy mayo accompanying it on a well portioned bow of rice.
The poke bowl was lacking a little, as it missed a lot of other ingredients such as ogo and even sesame seeds, that make authentic Hawaiian poke, but it was still good quality tuna and had a bit of spice to it.
The spam sushi was good, as my son devoured it and the sushi rice used was made well with a tasty consistency.

The cashier at the counter was polite and didn’t forget to ask us about utensils and if we required wasabi or ginger for our order as well. Want to try other options next time!“
