“I would recommend making a restaurant here in Las Vegas. Genki is a staple back home in Hawaii, and no sushi place here is up to par. I feel like you folks will make a lot of money, especially because of the amount of locals here.“

“My wife searched the Internet for a place that makes shrimp plate and found Lucky Box Ewa Beach. Place was easy to find using GPS. The food was prepared at a decent time. Our order came out to over $100 and the food quality was good. The Pork chops was a little on the dry side but the spicy shrimp and burgers with fries tasted good.“

“We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated at an open table. Waters, menu, and table-ware were already on the table. We ordered Kamikaze roll, dancing shrimp roll, and stuffed mushrooms and everything was actually delicious (no there was no discount for me to write a review for them, its actually good). Plates were removed as soon as we finished one roll and the next was served. We dropped a chop stick and we're immediately given a new set. Check was served immediately when we finished the last roll too. We left very impressed.“

“Really cute omakase restaurant hidden and tucked away in the back corner. There were like 10 seats and 3 staff members, whom were all super friendly. We had the $100 omakase set and it came with all the premium goodies! Super happy with how fast the food comes out, the freshness and quality, and how delicious each piece tasted. “Went there on a Tuesday about 1130a. There are a few free parking stalls at the store, but there's also free street and other store parking across the street. It's an old style okazuya atmosphere. I bought futomaki...old style flavor that i was looking for. It was quick service and I would come here again“

“Used to pick up a lot of orders for Door Dash from this restaurant but gave it a try myself today and glad I did! Food was delicious and all freshly made. I ordered the Tempura roll, Rainbow roll and Negi hama bento. The chef added an extra piece of fish on the Negi hama and a whole ahi roll for free! (Greatly appreciated). The free hot green tea is a nice touch also for sure. Will be back for sure the next time sushi calls to me.“

“OMG what a sleeper foodie find! I was looking for a quick lunch place in the shopping center and thought I’d just grab a quick bento to go from this place… no way, once inside there’s so much more than sushi!

I perused the large sushi menu for a while before finally deciding on an already made bento of salmon collar. They offered a side of rice to go with it but I decided to go with cucumber sushi instead. I couldn’t help but look in their pastry fridge and immediately decided I had to have dessert - a super cute pair of lemon and strawberry tarts.

They also make boba tea to order, and offer a variety of desserts, from mango panna cotta to bagged cookies - feed that sweet tooth while you grab lunch or dinner!

So excited to find this place - you could bring a small or large group here, there’s great seating inside the restaurant.

“We eat here at least twice a month. Food is always fresh and service is normally fast and friendly. The restaurant is fun and you order from your mobile device and the food is delivered via a train system that runs along the tables. I feel the prices are fair and they have the best French fries! Only complaint would be that this location is always very busy and we usually have to wait 15-30 minutes for a table.“

“I ordered the 2 choice bento with spicy ahi and teriyaki chicken. I didn’t take a picture because I forgot and ate the whole plate realizing I should have took the picture because it was AMAZING!!! “Fresh fish, and it has so many options, so ono...“

“Loads of choices ranging from sushi, bentos, donburis, and noodles to satisfy any Japanese food craving while on a time crunch. It was relatively slow when we walked in, around 5 in the evening on a Friday, and the food came out really fast. Prices were decent as well.

The dynamite chicken donburi bowl was definitely the best thing we ordered. The chicken well seasoned and delicious with a tasty spicy mayo accompanying it on a well portioned bow of rice.
The poke bowl was lacking a little, as it missed a lot of other ingredients such as ogo and even sesame seeds, that make authentic Hawaiian poke, but it was still good quality tuna and had a bit of spice to it.
The spam sushi was good, as my son devoured it and the sushi rice used was made well with a tasty consistency.

The cashier at the counter was polite and didn’t forget to ask us about utensils and if we required wasabi or ginger for our order as well. Want to try other options next time!“

“This was our first visit and it was really good. We enjoyed a sushi roll and a bento box each. The spicy tuna roll was made on the spot and it was delicious. Our bento box combinations were big and delicious.

The waitresses were very nice and professional. They made sure we always had everything we needed.

I must say that I'm not happy about the Kitchen Service charge. I think it's ridiculous to pass on this cost directly to the consumer. Restaurant owners need to pay their employees what they are worth and not expect the customer to cover their shortcomings. For that, we do not intend on returning to this restaurant.“

“There's not enough space to right the good things about this place. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and acknowledged by everyone, including the sushi chefs. Water and drink order is perfectly timed. Whether you order teishoku complete meals or sushi, the flavor and and portions are spot on. If you choose to sit at the sushi counter, the spread is just amazing. From white fish, tuna, to shellfish and sometimes even a fruit or plant to cleanse the pallet. I would recommend reservations as this place is always busy. Takeout is also very good!“

“You wouldn't expect this place to be as amazing as it is. But it always is. My family comes here all the time because we live just down the road, and we feel like it's absolutely the best restaurant in this area of the island. The service is consistently friendly. Everything we've tried off the menu, we've enjoyed. The setting is fantastic, especially watching the sunset over the golf course from the patio. My kids like playing on the grass area while we wait for food, and we like that they have a grilled cheese for our toddler and you can order it without fries. But get the fries, they're yummy, especially the garlic fries. We love the salt and pepper pork, the chicken sandwich, all the sushi rolls, the salads...and more. You can't go wrong. It can get busy in the evenings though, so it's better to make a reservation (even though we don't, we've sometimes had to wait long).“

“There was a wonderful koi pond in this restaurant. It was not that busy. However, they seemed shorthanded because I kept looking for the waitress for a take out box. Finally, I had to stand up and ask for one from a man in a red shirt who appeared to be helping another table. The food was good. I especially liked the tempura of pumpkin, and string beans, the shrimp tempura was perfect. I ordered miso Butterfish. My husband liked it, but I did not like that it had a lot of black char on it. I read somewhere that the black Char is carcinogenic.“

“Food: got the Ashley Don and a bento box that came with 4 Cali rolls, 2 spicy ahi Nigiri, ahi poke, and 2 ikura. Generous cuts of very fresh fish, they dont use frozen fish here. Last time I was here I watched them filet an entire giant ahi on the counter

Service: very attentive, was greeted upon entering, was seated with water and was asked if Id like anything other than water immediately, hot tea is also complimentary.

Atmosphere: clean and bright.

“Honestly I didn’t have lofty expectations when ordering for takeout, but the ingredients were fresh/delicious, the quality control (I.e, perfectly cooked sushi rice, crispy veggies, fresh fish) was spot on. I don’t think you will find better sushi on a military base anywhere else!“

“The Japanese owner is so friendly. I’m glad she’s still open and operating. Haven’t been back in years. She’s expanded her menu to include ramens and bowls, not just sushi anymore. And lots of tables and seating. She got my order wrong. It’s ok. I asked for a spicy spam handroll but she made me a salmon handroll instead. My son got one extra salmon roll. Everything was delicious and generous. The fish is not the “best” quality, of course, but it is good and oishi for a snack shop.“

“Went there on Monday about 930a. Located in the Kapolei market place, so there's lots of free parking. There's seating area, however for me, it's more a pick and go. Very organized and clean... which i like. I purchased futomaki (a little wet but the sushi rice flavor i like), karaage squid (good flavor but not hot) and manapua (bread to meat ratio good, flavor good but meat a little hard). I would actual go here again for a quick flavor of okazuya.“

“I eat here often for the varieties and none has failed me like some others nearby. Nor do they make you wait a lifetime for your food and always give friendly service. Highly recommend this place to non locals too. Very clean place well maintained and organized!“

“First off, I would like to say the owner is very kind. She helped me choose vegan dishes. It was my first time trying Natto and I know not everyone is used to it but I loved it. I also had the tofu salad. I really wanted to come back but I unfortunately couldn't because of time/itinerary restraints in Hawaii. I would love too come here again one day and recommend others to try it as well. The food is affordable and delicious. Updated from previous review on 2026-04-07“
