“Ordered spicy salmon and spicy ahi with sushi rice on DoorDash, and it was honestly top TWO poke places I’ve had so far in Oahu.

I’ve tried multiple Foodlands, I’ve tried the Morning Catch place in Chinatown that was famous on TikTok, and I will say that this place has some really tasty and enjoyable poke.

I also want to add that they add a nice reusable big with the doordash order too.“

“I was told that the owners of Miki’s opened this business to serve food for all the people working graveyard shift or finished work late.

With that being said, this place has the best food anywhere in this time frame 12am - 3am. Miki’s is an amazing change of food choices for late at night.

-The plates are cheaper with big servings compared to other places.
-Lines get long but the wait time after ordering is never past 10 minutes.
-Parking is fun because it’s either on the curb or the side of the street.

People reviewing this place needs to realize this hole-in-the-wall food business is meant for people like me. Those who work late into the night, that’s my demographic. If you’re comparing this place to Zippys or anything like that, then go there shut up. This place makes all their food with love, that beats anything opened after hours to me, no 7/11, McDonald’s, no fast food place can compete that.“

“Andy, bartender, and Isaiah, chef, did an amazing job covering for a staff member that did not show up on a busy Saturday afternoon. Not only were the drinks on point, but the Chicken Wings gave us Chicken Skin!! So guuuuuuud!! Andy was also fun company. Good form!! Time will spent on one Aloha kine experience!“

“I always enjoy eating at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Even though it’s a chain, this location consistently has great food and does a really good job with the classics.

The katsu was cooked perfectly, the breading had the ideal crisp texture while the meat inside was tender and the sauce was flavorful. I also ordered the mixed BBQ plate, and everything on it was cooked well and tasted fresh.

The woman at the counter was also very friendly and kind, which made the experience even better. Great service always makes a difference.

Out of all the locations I’ve tried, this one is definitely my favorite. The food quality is consistently good, and it’s the spot I always look forward to coming back to.“

“We did the menu experience which included cocktail pairings. The food and drink combos were perfect. The food started with cold fish, moved to warmer light foods and finished with a rich steak. We were impressed with everything served! With every penny.“

“This was our stop back to the main city from the lagoon and man was it worth it. We tried the Kalbi beef plate mix with shrimp and Kalua pig plate. Fantastic 10/10 delicious. A lovely spot with outwardly delicious food. The service was kind and engaging. Loved the servers and host. It also has an amazing view of the gold course (no reservation or ticket needed) good spot for breakfast and lunch. Do yourself a favor and please visit this spot. 10/10 will visit again!“

“The luau itself was great. The only issues we had were check in and the bar. Check in could and should have been more streamlined. It seemed like it was the first time they ever did this event because they were clueless on how to check everyone in and get us inside. And the bar line was nuts. If everyone has a free drink ticket, those drinks should have been ready to go and not at the same line as paid drinks. Missed all the beginning activities due to the line. Food and luau itself were amazing. All the food was unbelievably good. That line flew and getting seconds was easy and encouraged. The show was fantastic! The chief's commentary was hilarious and everyone with us enjoyed the show!“

“Everything about Helena's was top notch! The service was great, the food was exquisite. It was my first Hawaiian food in my life and I ate Hawaiian food all over Oahu, Maui, Big Island and Kauai in the week that followed and did not find any better than Helena's in Honolulu! I bought the Option C plate. I've visited 49 states and eaten all over North America and Helena's was the best pork I've had in my life, best ribs I've had in my life, best salmon I've had in my life, the haupia dessert was incredible (especially with the salt and onion). If you can only eat at one Hawaiian place on your trip, make it Helena's! Mahalo!“

“The best old skool saimin joint on the planet...the broth just brings back alot of memories of enjoying saimin with your parents and grandparents...its just so rich in flavor and the noodles are second to none...then its time to sink your teeth in the smoky flava of their bbq stick,omg doesn't get any better..my go to is the wonton min and bbq sticks, if you haven't already visited this place, do yourselves a favor and check them out soon.. 🤙🤙🤙“

“Eh, Howzit! Omg we haven't even eaten the food yet and it has been an awesome experience. It ain't the cheapest meal on the island, but it is a ton of food from the looks of it and we got a little bit of everything. They have all the classics, poke, like 5 kinds, chicken in garlic and teriyaki. Peak, hero level ribs, smoked beef, argh! Just got our food and must go eat the rest of it! Catch you next time!“

“Make sure you triple check your oder. Today we ate at the Honolulu Bistro for the first time. The guy at the register claims he didn't rung us up for 2 sandwiches. At checking out he did say back our order. The recipe is not detailed either. The amount we paid was definitely for 2 sandwiches. We ended up sharing 1 sandwich and left.“

“The food was so good! Ok, there's no indoor dining and the outdoor dining is really rough but during our meal there the locals seemed to love it and for good reason. This is what I imagine authentic Hawaiian BBQ for the working man is like. When you go to a BBQ place and see the orange construction either shirts, is probably going to be good and it was. The girl at the register recommend the beef short ribs and they were amazing. My wife had the teriyaki chicken and it had amazing flavor, though a bit overcooked, I still finished it if for her gladly. My only warning: one dish is plenty for two hungry people! We were getting ready to head to the airport and didn't want any to go to waste, so we have half to a mother with four teenage boys. They were 😊. Definitely will return next time we visit the island.“

“Stepping into Marujyu Market is like stepping back into the Hawaii. Here they have all of the classic Hawaiian food dishes like Laulau, Lomi Salmon, Kalua Pig, Chicken Long Rice, Poke, etc. The Kalua Pig was so tender and juicy with so much flavor, definitely a favorite of mine. If you no can decide what to get they get a good selection of Hawaiian combo plates plus you can you two and three choice plates too. Have not had any problem finding parking even when we went New Year Eve.“

The owner wasn’t to friendly but maybe is just his personality, the place is next to a beautiful pond and nice trees . “Wow I drove past this place many times, shame on me for not stopping by for a bite. Today I was just looking for breakfast and maaaayyyynnnn the breakfast combo!!!

$9.59 bucks in ward is awesome, which included 2 eggs, 1 spam, 2 pocho sausage, 2 links, and 4 bacon.!!!. Most places would probably cost 15-20+ bucks for that.

Not to mention, it was only after my order was almost done I see a sign for $1 adder for fried rice, shucks. Definitely going try that next time. I forgot to ask for over easy when I grabbed my bag and was like oh no don't be scrambled haha. We'll it seems to be standard as over easy it was, so if u want scramble be sure to ask.

On top of the deal my food was out in a few minutes behind one small order and a large order, so gray job on quick time.

Inside is your normal plate lunch seating area. There is also metered street parking along the north bound lane of Cooke St.

They have a good size menu, and I definitely will be back to try some of their other food. For now I found my go to breakfast spot in ward area haha!!!“

“This is my first time here.This place in my opinion has solid local old school tradition and not just vibes but deep Hawaii local Aura. I found out from owner Mike that they make their own noodles in house and their noodles are as good as Shige’s in Waiahawa. This place is my new favorite for local style fried noodles. Next time I come I’ll try the saimin and cheese burger, and or the chicken katsu curry or cold ginger chicken. It’s not fancy but the food is affordable and so Ono. I got the fish and chips and a mini fried Saimin.

“Walked off the street looking for fresh poke and this place met expectations. The portions are generous and the prices reasonable.

The fish is fresh and the service magnificent. Staff friendly and the place is very clean. We’ll return again before vacation is over. Highly recommended.“

“We had the seafood combo, the teriyaki steak bowl, double cheeseburger deluxe, chicken sandwich and two orders of fries , 3 fountain drinks and a coconut water. Steak bowl was small but it was very filling. Burger was huge and so was the chicken sandwich. Seafood combo was delicious. Definitely recommend“

“We had stumbled on Camille's Restaurant and we fell in love with the food and the owners. Recently our Mom passed away and immediately Camille's came to mind for the catering because their food feeds the soul...they cook from the heart and it translates into the flavors of the food. Everyone loved everything ...we had the Lau laus, kalua pig, BBQ chicken, and the smoked meat...everything was cooked and packed with so much love and care it was touching and it overwhelmed our hearts!!! “Take out only. The have a vast variety of manapua, both steamed and baked. Staff is very friendly, efficient and puts a smile on my face. Makes a great impression when you are walking into a meeting, gathering, etc cause although everyone loves manapua, pork hash, half moon, rice cake, etc. Most people never think about this option which is far superior to donuts or other pastries.“

“I was surprised how good this restraunt was for being in the bishop museum. The pork was amazing and the rest of the meal was pretty good as well. It was honestly pretty inexpensive compared to other restaurants. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the bishop museum.“

“I've dined at many L&L restaurants in Hawaii but this was my first visit to the location across from Whole Foods. There are lots of tables for diners, many are hidden around the corner from the drink dispensing station.

I ordered something I get at a number of L&Ls ... BBQ Cheeseburger combo (a deluxe BBQ cheeseburger, a LARGE bag of fries, and a drink); all for $12.50.

The burger contained lettuce, a thick slice of white onion, and a slice of tomato. Yum! The fries were crispy ... None were soggy ... Yay!

What can I say? I was impressed!“
