“Best Poke on the whole Island!!!!!!! I had the Ahi Poke Nachos on the first day of our trip to Oahu. Best poke during the whole trip!“

“Ordered spicy salmon and spicy ahi with sushi rice on DoorDash, and it was honestly top TWO poke places I’ve had so far in Oahu.

I’ve tried multiple Foodlands, I’ve tried the Morning Catch place in Chinatown that was famous on TikTok, and I will say that this place has some really tasty and enjoyable poke.

I also want to add that they add a nice reusable big with the doordash order too.“

“I was told that the owners of Miki’s opened this business to serve food for all the people working graveyard shift or finished work late.

With that being said, this place has the best food anywhere in this time frame 12am - 3am. Miki’s is an amazing change of food choices for late at night.

-The plates are cheaper with big servings compared to other places.
-Lines get long but the wait time after ordering is never past 10 minutes.
-Parking is fun because it’s either on the curb or the side of the street.

People reviewing this place needs to realize this hole-in-the-wall food business is meant for people like me. Those who work late into the night, that’s my demographic. If you’re comparing this place to Zippys or anything like that, then go there shut up. This place makes all their food with love, that beats anything opened after hours to me, no 7/11, McDonald’s, no fast food place can compete that.“

“Chilling with my niece and nephew in the center of a supermarket sipping on a glass of red wine and eating some really delicious pupu’s from Pau Hana Bar located inside Foodland Farms Pearl City.

Everything we eat here has a local touch to it but the highlight for us is always the Sizzling Ribeye Steak with Onions and Mushrooms served with a Butter Kabayaki Sauce. It was fire!

We also had the Pan Fried Ahi Belly Chinese Style, Ika Karaage, Gojuchang Fried Chicken Wings, Ahi Poke, Shishito Peppers, Furikake Salmon Salad and the Fried Rice.

Love the vibe and atmosphere here and the service is always top notch. I love how they all work together and there is always somewhere within reach if you need anything.“

“I always enjoy eating at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Even though it’s a chain, this location consistently has great food and does a really good job with the classics.

The katsu was cooked perfectly, the breading had the ideal crisp texture while the meat inside was tender and the sauce was flavorful. I also ordered the mixed BBQ plate, and everything on it was cooked well and tasted fresh.

The woman at the counter was also very friendly and kind, which made the experience even better. Great service always makes a difference.

Out of all the locations I’ve tried, this one is definitely my favorite. The food quality is consistently good, and it’s the spot I always look forward to coming back to.“

“Make sure you triple check your oder. Today we ate at the Honolulu Bistro for the first time. The guy at the register claims he didn't rung us up for 2 sandwiches. At checking out he did say back our order. The recipe is not detailed either. The amount we paid was definitely for 2 sandwiches. We ended up sharing 1 sandwich and left.“

“Ugh absolutely everything we were looking for… amazing food, show and people. Our second and last luau before going home from our honey moon, they brought us on stage and we got to dance together. And I was given flowers even, so kind and absolutely made my night. On the way out the flowers actually fell out of my bag I was sad about but an absolute wonderful time/ new memory unlocked.“

“We had stumbled on Camille's Restaurant and we fell in love with the food and the owners. Recently our Mom passed away and immediately Camille's came to mind for the catering because their food feeds the soul...they cook from the heart and it translates into the flavors of the food. Everyone loved everything ...we had the Lau laus, kalua pig, BBQ chicken, and the smoked meat...everything was cooked and packed with so much love and care it was touching and it overwhelmed our hearts!!! “The food was so good! Ok, there's no indoor dining and the outdoor dining is really rough but during our meal there the locals seemed to love it and for good reason. This is what I imagine authentic Hawaiian BBQ for the working man is like. When you go to a BBQ place and see the orange construction either shirts, is probably going to be good and it was. The girl at the register recommend the beef short ribs and they were amazing. My wife had the teriyaki chicken and it had amazing flavor, though a bit overcooked, I still finished it if for her gladly. My only warning: one dish is plenty for two hungry people! We were getting ready to head to the airport and didn't want any to go to waste, so we have half to a mother with four teenage boys. They were 😊. Definitely will return next time we visit the island.“

“Take out only. The have a vast variety of manapua, both steamed and baked. Staff is very friendly, efficient and puts a smile on my face. Makes a great impression when you are walking into a meeting, gathering, etc cause although everyone loves manapua, pork hash, half moon, rice cake, etc. Most people never think about this option which is far superior to donuts or other pastries.“

“In the past, I would only order the noodle trays or plates for pot luck. Recently, I started buying their plate lunches, and suddenly realized what I’ve been missing. I ordered their fish and chips and chicken katsu. Both came with ultra generous servings and I believe the fish and chips was THE Best I’ve ever tasted. I served 30 years in the Army and 22 years as a civilian for the Marine Corps….. and have travelled all over the United States and a good portion of other countries, and I swear the Mililani Restaurant’s fish and chips IS the very Best I’ve ever eaten. “Stopped here because the children were getting antsy and it was a very smart move. The food is very good and they have a great menu and they grill outside on these large open grill grates. There was a local neighborhood dog laying underneath a shady bush who visits every day and being a dog owning family we like that.“

“We had the seafood combo, the teriyaki steak bowl, double cheeseburger deluxe, chicken sandwich and two orders of fries , 3 fountain drinks and a coconut water. “Had a chance to step back in time and visit Palace Saimin. It's a cute little old school restaurant serving up hearty bowls of Saimin. I opted for Wonmin which had about 6 very delicious wontons plus good quality noodles laced with little bits of chopped barbecue pork and chopped scallions in semi clear dashi broth. The beef sticks are amazing! I went with two, I probably could have ate six! Service was friendly and polite and the prices are extremely reasonable.“

$9.59 bucks in ward is awesome, which included 2 eggs, 1 spam, 2 pocho sausage, 2 links, and 4 bacon.!!!. Most places would probably cost 15-20+ bucks for that.

Not to mention, it was only after my order was almost done I see a sign for $1 adder for fried rice, shucks. Definitely going try that next time. I forgot to ask for over easy when I grabbed my bag and was like oh no don't be scrambled haha. We'll it seems to be standard as over easy it was, so if u want scramble be sure to ask.

On top of the deal my food was out in a few minutes behind one small order and a large order, so gray job on quick time.

Inside is your normal plate lunch seating area. There is also metered street parking along the north bound lane of Cooke St.

They have a good size menu, and I definitely will be back to try some of their other food. For now I found my go to breakfast spot in ward area haha!!!“

“I was visiting Hawaii and decided to go to this location because it was close to where I was staying and I was running errands in the immediate area and I’m familiar with this food chain. But I don’t recommend this location because the service was horrible and the food was worse! I have been to L& L in California and the food was AMAZING! I couldn’t eat the food because it tasted warmed up and the macaroni salad was sour so I tossed it and went to another location and the food was cooked to order and I was very pleased.“

“I've dined at many L&L restaurants in Hawaii but this was my first visit to the location across from Whole Foods. There are lots of tables for diners, many are hidden around the corner from the drink dispensing station.

I ordered something I get at a number of L&Ls ... BBQ Cheeseburger combo (a deluxe BBQ cheeseburger, a LARGE bag of fries, and a drink); all for $12.50.

The burger contained lettuce, a thick slice of white onion, and a slice of tomato. Yum! The fries were crispy ... None were soggy ... Yay!
