“This was our stop back to the main city from the lagoon and man was it worth it. We tried the Kalbi beef plate mix with shrimp and Kalua pig plate. Fantastic 10/10 delicious. A lovely spot with outwardly delicious food. The service was kind and engaging. Loved the servers and host. It also has an amazing view of the gold course (no reservation or ticket needed) good spot for breakfast and lunch. Do yourself a favor and please visit this spot. 10/10 will visit again!“

“I was visiting Hawaii and decided to go to this location because it was close to where I was staying and I was running errands in the immediate area and I’m familiar with this food chain. But I don’t recommend this location because the service was horrible and the food was worse! I have been to L& L in California and the food was AMAZING! I couldn’t eat the food because it tasted warmed up and the macaroni salad was sour so I tossed it and went to another location and the food was cooked to order and I was very pleased.“

“I have been here twice; once for breakfast and once for plate lunch. Both were solid meals, good portions and I got out under $15. I had a Portuguese sausage omelet for breakfast and chicken katsu curry for lunch. The picture is half way through the regular size portion. The interior doesn't have a lot of seating but it's clean and air conditioned.. . I highly recommend this Ewa Beach hole in the wall. Plus they cater. Ono-licious.“

“Best hashbrowns - ever! Breakfast here is always the crowd pleaser. I’ve taken all my ohana here and everyone has been happy. Great menu, extensive sides, rice, mac salad, and no meat options for vegetarians - everything you’d expect on a breakfast menu and more. The best the coffee too!“

“The luau itself was great. The only issues we had were check in and the bar. Check in could and should have been more streamlined. It seemed like it was the first time they ever did this event because they were clueless on how to check everyone in and get us inside. And the bar line was nuts. If everyone has a free drink ticket, those drinks should have been ready to go and not at the same line as paid drinks. Missed all the beginning activities due to the line. Food and luau itself were amazing. All the food was unbelievably good. That line flew and getting seconds was easy and encouraged. The show was fantastic! The chief's commentary was hilarious and everyone with us enjoyed the show!“

“The food was so good! Ok, there's no indoor dining and the outdoor dining is really rough but during our meal there the locals seemed to love it and for good reason. This is what I imagine authentic Hawaiian BBQ for the working man is like. When you go to a BBQ place and see the orange construction either shirts, is probably going to be good and it was. The girl at the register recommend the beef short ribs and they were amazing. My wife had the teriyaki chicken and it had amazing flavor, though a bit overcooked, I still finished it if for her gladly. My only warning: one dish is plenty for two hungry people! We were getting ready to head to the airport and didn't want any to go to waste, so we have half to a mother with four teenage boys. They were 😊. Definitely will return next time we visit the island.“

Recently our Mom passed away and immediately Camille's came to mind for the catering because their food feeds the soul...they cook from the heart and it translates into the flavors of the food. “Take out only. The have a vast variety of manapua, both steamed and baked. Staff is very friendly, efficient and puts a smile on my face. Makes a great impression when you are walking into a meeting, gathering, etc cause although everyone loves manapua, pork hash, half moon, rice cake, etc. Most people never think about this option which is far superior to donuts or other pastries.“

“This is the perfect hidden food place that locals go to. Good food, good prices and the service is practically non existent. Meaning, it's 99% take out. There is a small table outside but that's why it's cool. No nonsense food at a good price. I highly recommend the Bento #1, the Katsu and the fried chicken.

Parking: The parking is hard to find but if you wait for a few minutes someone will leave.“

“Ordered spicy salmon and spicy ahi with sushi rice on DoorDash, and it was honestly top TWO poke places I’ve had so far in Oahu.

I’ve tried multiple Foodlands, I’ve tried the Morning Catch place in Chinatown that was famous on TikTok, and I will say that this place has some really tasty and enjoyable poke.

I also want to add that they add a nice reusable big with the doordash order too.“

“I specially went to Aloha Island Manapua bc I saw online that they make the fried ginger chicken plate on rice. I will say that they’re is better than Island Manapua in Manoa. Manoa’s was extra salty. The Waipahu location also gives more chicken & rice for $15 something. Their ginger onion sauce was dry and not liquidy and was heavy on the green onions, less ginger. Kinda weird ratio of ingredients. See from the photos.“

Plenty of free uncovered parking next to a gas station.

The coffee is super tasty and the food perfectly prepared with a nice portion! My favorite is the sweet bread French toast combo- comes with choice of egg and choice of meat.

This Zippys is super clean, spacious, lots of booths, and nice selection of pastries.

Plus we love the Hawaiian music which not all Zippys have.

This will be our go-to from now on!“

“Best food in town, The best meal we had during our 8 days in Hawaii was at this restaurant! “I was told that the owners of Miki’s opened this business to serve food for all the people working graveyard shift or finished work late.

With that being said, this place has the best food anywhere in this time frame 12am - 3am. Miki’s is an amazing change of food choices for late at night.

-The plates are cheaper with big servings compared to other places.
-Lines get long but the wait time after ordering is never past 10 minutes.
-Parking is fun because it’s either on the curb or the side of the street.

People reviewing this place needs to realize this hole-in-the-wall food business is meant for people like me. Those who work late into the night, that’s my demographic. If you’re comparing this place to Zippys or anything like that, then go there shut up. This place makes all their food with love, that beats anything opened after hours to me, no 7/11, McDonald’s, no fast food place can compete that.“

“If you do any luau here… do this one at Aulani. When aulani first opened they had a luau of sorts on the lawn on some nights with music and hula and it was great. They then started the Ka Wa’a a luau and really made it better. The first time on Oahu in 2011 we did the Paradise Cove luau which was very touristy to say the meat and the food was alright. The Aulani luau feels more authentic and the food is hands down better quality- think 4 star restaurant Hawaiian food! The show can’t be beat and the pre show activities are perfect. Spring for the premium tickets for better seating, earlier access and the free foto.
This is always our must do the last 3x we have visited Aulani now.

There is a Disney twist to this luau but they story telling is beautiful and makes you feel like a part of the Hawaiian culture!

Update 5/24/26: still a great luau on this trip! Bonus if you get a room overlooking that area of Aulani you can watch from your balcony. Shout out to Rod- the best bartender!“
