“My family loves this place! I am pregnant, and haven't been able to enjoy any meat. My husband wanted to try this place, so we ordered the Kalbi BBQ. I thought I wasn't going to be able to have more than a small bite, because of my intolerance to meat. I was so glad we tried this place! I took more than just a bite, I finished everything. “Elims has been apart of the Ewa beach shopping center for as long as I can remember. mom and pop shop, cardboard everywhere but still nicely intact, food counter is clean cold drinks are laid out nice and the banchan area is always filled. I thought to come here instead of pearls chain restaurant just to support local cuz id be sad to see them fold.I ordered the classic kalbi & meatjun combo. Now, the reviews may be right about the meatjun. It’s not the best, meat was kinda tough but flavor wise was ok, I’m all about having a good sauce to cover that so i ordered extra meat Jun sauce.Kalbi was freakin good. Way better than pearls because the marinate and smoky taste from the grill comes thru. It’s also not overly sauced up like some places, it just tastes like homemade kalbi cooked on a grill. You don’t need to get the meat Jun, but you gotta get the kalbi.4 sides: 2x mayo potato (always good lil sweet) noodles, and seaweed. “Food is incredible. Picked up the vons chicken wings before, crispy, spicy, good, but the real gems are on their regular menu. Bulgogi fried rice was so good, I had to physically get up and walk away from it stop shoveling it into my mouth. All the kimchi is on point. Soups were great. My only gripe would be the price but isn't that just the way of things these days. It's worth the cost if you're going to bother eating out. I'd call ahead and go pick it up.“

“The best Ramen-Ya on the island! They're fast, efficient and their serving sizes are good for 2 people! I recommend their all of their ramens --- and their beef curry then substitute the plain white rice with fried rice for a change! It's an absolute treat.“

“Headed out here in need of a place that was open for a very early morning breakfast. Saw that Pueo's Restaurant was open at the bright and early time of 0600 every morning! I have passed by this establishment many times, but was unsure if the restaurant was only accessible to it's golfing patrons. Upon arrival though, we were greeted by a very nice gentleman named Glen whom we later found out was also our server. He informed us the restaurant was open to the public. Then he ushered us in and quickly served us up some nice piping, hot coffee. Shortly afterwards, he took our orders. The following items were ordered: THE FOOD The Early Bird Special ($7.99 each) x 2: a. 2 eggs over easy, Portuguese sausage, and rice w/ a coffee. b. 2 eggs poached (per special request), spam, and extra crispy hash brown w/ a coffee. Talk about an awesome breakfast deal, which is available from 0600-1000. THE SERVICE Glen was so pleasant and attentive! An exceptional server with such a warm and friendly aura about him. He took very good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. THE DEALS The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. There was a large TV and an open bar. I saw they had HAPPY HOUR DRAFT SPECIALS Mon-Fri 1400-1700. And GAME TIME SPECIAL (Game Day Mon & Thur) Bud Light Draft Pitchers for $10. And their Everyday PUPU MENU ranges from $6-$14. What a good deal! OVERALL THOUGHTS Imo, customer service weighs heavy on what can make a 4 star rating a 5 star experience. And Glen definitely kicked this up a notch to a 5 star experience! Menu is also very reasonably priced. Did I mention they also serve oxtail soup? We will definitely come back here to experience what else Pueo's Restaurant has to offer :)“

“Generous servings per order. Food tasty. Came to table hot but food got cold quickly. Teapot was refilled fairly quick. Usually busy but I think we caught a day & time when not so busy. I’ve been here when all tables were full sometimes they have family dinner parties there. It can be a madhouse. Family dining, casual dress, atmosphere comfortable. Friendly wait staff. Dining room fairly clean.“

“So far this is my favorite L&L. We had just arrived in the area and decided to stop for lunch in-between lease signing and venturing the staff was friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The food was great. Highly recommend this L&L Location.“
