Clean, good service and great food.
Great hole in the wall mom and pop shop. My family was kraving traditional korean food and not the usual hawaiian plates and this place served it up properly. The bonchon was kimchi, bean sprouts, radish, and krab salad and was very good.
We ordered several dishes all which hit the spot.
Fish jeon: marinated fish and dipped in egg before being fried. Soft and slight crunchy edges served with a dipping sauce. First time having this and was not disappointed. 10/10

Awesome little korean restaurant. Small dining room sits about 20 comfortably. They do takeout as well and only takeout after 730 pm. We showed up with a group of 10 and they quickly got us seated. Price was good, dishes large, people very nice. Food was authentic and great. Kimchi is homemade. Highly recommend and will come again!

Spoon Bunsik is a Korean restaurant located in Ewa Beach. The restaurant is small, clean, roomy, well-lit, and spacious with really nice seating inside. Parking is generally good with lots of parking, though it can be limited in front.
The service is fast, good, patient, informative, outgoing, friendly, and easy. You order and pay at the counter from the menu on the wall before seating yourself. The food comes out fast and is made to order by caring employees.
The menu is sizable and features authentic Korean food. Dishes mentioned as delicious, tasty, unique, ono, and a nice change of pace include the bulgogi, Tteokbokki (both regular and the cheesy tteokbokki), Black Bean Noodles, Japchae, Meat Jun, stone pot rice/bulgogi vegetable entree, spicy Kim chee deep fried musubi, and the Strawberry Bingsu and Oreo cookie bingsu desserts. The Tteokbokki sauce is noted as just right and not too spicy. The bulgogi plate comes with some Ono Japchae, and meals include sides like banchan, spicy takuan, Kim chee, and chop chae. Portions are fairly generous and the prices are fair and about right for the amount.
Overall, it is a gem and provides a great dining experience, making it a place customers definitely want to return to and try more from the menu.
