“Whenever I'm in the island, I make sure to get a taste of their ahi katsu and poke. It's the best I've ever tasted in the island. Unfortunately, they no longer sell drinks so better bring your own. In terms of schedule, make sure to check their Instagram page for any changes or announcements. It's kind of far but always worth the drive.“

“First time here for this local resident! I've driven past this intersection for decades and have no idea when this business popped up. Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.“

“So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.“

“The Loco Moco with conrbeef Hash is champ! The gravy hits and doesnt get tiring. The portions are huge for the price they charge. The different flavors of pancakes changes up the flavor profile. We were served the wrong pancakes, the server corrected our order, apologized and let us keep the extra pancakes. It can get very crowded inside, plus the parking is really small. Plan accordingly, park at nearby parking areas and walk up if the parking here is full. This is a must visit breakfast spot when in Oahu!“

“My husband took me here for valentines day. It was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed a bottle of Cambria wine on the patio during the sunset. The music they played was some of our favorites and brought back lots of feel-good memories. The food was fantastic and we shared a couple appetizers. We shared the garlic bread, luau crap dip, and ahi spring rolls. My husband ordered the prime rib and I ordered the calamari pappardelle. Everything was delicious and perfectly made. I didn’t even find this masterpiece my first week there—tragic, I know. But once I did, it was game over. That first bite hit like a flavor roundhouse to the jaw: juicy beef, perfect bun, and that wasabi sauce sneaking in like a spicy ninja just to wake up your soul.

Now it’s basically part of my weekly routine—Monday, Wednesday, Friday = OG Burger Day. My coworkers know not to bother me during OG time. If you see me there, I’m not ignoring you; I’m just in deep, greasy meditation.

Soup base wasnt heavy or overly salted. We were seated immediately on a Sunday at noon. My buddy also got their fish curry over rice and the portions were big. Highly recommend.“

“We found this place on another online platform after going to the Dole Plantation. It is located in a strip mall that looks old and run down so we were skeptical. We located the restaurant in the corner of the lot (next to the Goodwill). We sent a scout in take a look prior lol. The scout gave us the all clear so we entered the restaurant, which was clean and had open tables. We were greeted by a nice man who took the time to get to know us and give us some island history. Ok to the food: There were 4 of us. Each ordered a different entree. 1. Spam hand roll and a tempura hand roll - deliciousness 2. Energy roll- this tasted very fresh and was a roll with eel and avocado on top with eel sauce- deliciousness 3. Ahi poke bento box- came out looking just like the picture on the menu( how many times does that happen!) lots of fresh fish and rolls- deliciousness 4. Tempura shrimp bowl with spicy sauce on top. Tempura shrimp Packed in a bowl on a bed of rice. - deliciousness 5. Spicy ahi poke bowl- came out with tons of fresh ahi covered in spicy mayo and sriracha sauce. - delicious if you like spicy fresh fish. This mom and pop shop deserves your business. The food (all of it) tasted fresh and made with care. I would not write it if it wasn’t true. They will serve you a complimentary miso soup to start ( no spoons here, sip out of cup!) All in all great grub. We will be back!“
