“Stopped by unexpectedly since they were in the same area as 2 other shrimp trucks we were visiting. Ended up having the coconut shrimp & punch lemonade which were really good. Service was great, plenty of parking in their free lot, picnic tables, & an outdoor sink to wash your hands after.“

“I drove out here for Easter lunch. I purchased the burger. Wanted to get the onion rings, but he was out which was a big disappointment. Burger was delicious flavorful. Reminiscent of a big Mac. It had lettuce, tomato pickle, some type of onion, special sauce and cheese. Burger was $12, the combo would be $15 at this time. Which would include crinkle fries and a drink. if in the area, I will definitely go back again. One of the better tasting food establishment I’ve visited. There are tables around to sit at. May have to wipe them off. There is a portable Johnny on the spot to use the restroom so bring your own wipes. The parking lot area is for several food trucks and is available which is a plus.“

“The chipotle burrito with carne asada was okay, but I'd go with something else next time. The chipotle is a bit much and it overwhelms everything else. They grill the tortillas, which is nice. The asada was okay, but there were some gristly pieces I didn't want to eat. There was some weird, random lettuce that I could have done without--it wasn't enough to actually be healthy, it got very soggy so it didn't add any texture other than mush, and it just felt weird to have in a burrito at all.The traditional with chicken as better, the chicken was good quality and didn’t have the gristle issue of the steak. It was better not having the overwhelming chipotle sauce.Food takes quite a while, in the neighborhood of 20 minutes for a simple burrito. There's more seating out back. They have some interestingly flavored cans of soda but they're probiotic and zero sugar and similar sodas I've had in the past have a bunch of alternative sweeteners and they were undrinkable, so I took a pass. They have Mexican Coke which is always a nice treat and pairs perfectly with a burrito, so it's a pricy soda but fine for a splurge.“

“I am a firm believer that some of the best food you can get in Hawaii comes from small, local food trucks like Flyin' Ahi. I finally got the chance to try them after wanting to go for years. Usually I wouldn't be able to because of work but I took advantage of the Veteran's Day holiday to make my way over. Located in Mililani Tech Park next to other food trucks. The baked crab stuffed Ono with truffle sauce caught my eye. But I also wanted to try their signature kalbi fries, plus spicy ahi poke... Luckily the kind owner was able to combine all that into one fat plate. Everything was amazing! The truffle cream sauce is to die for. The fries were fried up perfectly crispy with a generous portion of kalbi on top. And the spicy ahi was great too, I liked how it wasn't the usual mayo-based sauce.Service was super quick and friendly. The owner was generous enough to add some spicy ahi into the blackened ahi salad we got too. I'll definitely come back to this spot when I have another day off and want to treat myself.“

“Certainly! Here's a revised version:"After extensive exploration of shrimp trucks/shacks spanning the culinary spectrum from Louisiana to Thailand, I must assert that Jenny's in Haleiwa unequivocally distinguishes itself as a super contender. Their mastery lies not only in the flawlessly executed preparation of fresh shrimp but also in their strategic curation of menu options. Jenny's strikes an admirable balance, offering a discerning selection without overwhelming the palate, thereby ensuring each choice is executed to perfection."“

“I had a wonderful experience with Malai Thai. I had the garlic pepper shrimp. Very generous portions for the pricing. We also got an order of the basil fried rice with chicken which also was fantastic. Got multiple meals for the two of us from these two orders. Some of the best Thai food I’ve had since being in Thailand. Very fresh tasting and they cook it all fresh. They give you a little buzzer so if your group is at a different truck you can sit and wait for your food there. Definitely check them out after a long day on the beach!“

“Since we went during Christmas season, the owner was gone some days/opened later. So after 3 tries, we finally went when it was open!! My husband chatted with him in Portuguese and he was so friendly! Everything was pretty good; we of course got feijoada and stroganoff! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a unique lunch amongst the Kahuku food trucks!“

“The girls at Pupukea were friendly and fast! Our meals were prepared perfectly and were actually the BEST food we ate on a week vacation with restaurants running up to $200 a meal! We’ve decided finding the right taco truck is huge in Hawaii and THIS is it.“

“Great coffee and food. Stop there atleast twice a week. Some of the best coffee I've had!Only issue I've had is they no longer stir my strikers and they're almost always separated. Since they moved to straws with no lid I have a hard time stiring it until I've already drank part of my drink“

“This is a must visit spot if you’re looking for Shaved Ice while on the North Shore. Some great desert options, but the Local is super flavorful, colorful, and a huge portion easily enough for two. Plenty of seating and parking, and your view is of the waters and Shark Cove so it’s a great spot to chill after swimming or before.“
“Jeremy is still going strong with his lunch wagon. But you people really need to get out of my way because I dislike waiting in that long line (J/K). Scoopers had to raise their prices for all plates by one dollar (come on people, you can afford to pay another measly buck) due to rising costs but it is still incredibly affordable, and the quality hasn't dipped at all. Unpretentious old school plate lunches hit the spot. Always.“

“This was our first night in Haleiwa at our first time ever staying in an AirB&B. No food yet at our new place, so needed to find somewhere to eat. We thought Thai would be a good ethnic start. We actually were looking for a different place, but found this instead. A lucky find. We both ordered drunken noodles with shrimp. As it is a food truck, we ordered at a window and sat at a picnic table under a string of lights. The food came out fairly quickly and was hot. So right off the grill/griddle. It was quite good and satisfied our craving for Thai food.“

“Haleiwa Seafood & Grill impressed me with their seafood platter. The coconut shrimp, fried mahi, and calamari were all incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. I definitely recommend trying this dish if you're in the area. The service was friendly and quick, which made the whole vibe even better. And I have to mention the Hawaiian Sun smoothie—it was excellent and added a refreshing touch to the meal. Overall, this food truck is a must-visit and I’ll be back!“

“Found this place on a whim while in-processing. For real for real the best açaí bowl I’ve had on island. And I love that I could eat lunch here in between briefings at the soldier support center or get caffeine to help me stay awake during some of those briefings. There’s plenty of parking, but you have to go park at soldier support center. Then you walk through or around it. Mama J’s is literally a trailer and it can be easy to miss.Parking: Soldier support center parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“

“Yes, the service is slow. But that’s because they make everything to order. It’s also why everything is absolutely delicious. So if you order, I would recommend that you be patient. They serve assorted pastels, chicken coxinha, pāo de queijo, misto quente, along with açai bowls. Most of the time, when you buy a pastel, you get this deep-fried pastry that is filled with 90% air and 10% filling. Not so at CG - their pastel was huge and packed with filling (palmito and cheese for me). The CG coxinha was a standout though. The coxinhas that I have eaten used a shredded chicken filling that was usually dried out. The stingier places also skimped out on the filling. The coxinha at CG though were stuffed with super-moist, flavorful, cubed bits of chicken. And to top it off, they used panko to make it extra crispy on the outside. As for the pão de queijo, they were also very good, but it looked like they were made in a mini waffle maker. I’ve never seen that before - probably a clever work-around to not having an oven in the food truck. Had it not been for the pastel and the coxinha, I would have probably raved more about the pāo de queijo.A bit of advice - check to see if the tables behind the food trucks are available - They are much nicer than the tables by the street which are crowded, noisy, and right by the street.“

“The garlic shrimp here has thin skin and you can eat the whole thing. In other places, the skin is so thick that it is best to eat it while peeling it. The shrimp here look like shrimp that have just shed their skin, so you can eat them with the skin on, so it's easy.It would be a good idea to buy beer at a nearby supermarket.“
“We decided to get a drink here while we were waiting for our shrimp to come out. The bf got the pina colada and holy moly was it good. I saw that if I shared a picture on Ig, they would give me a free hand crafted soda, so after we finished his drink, I got us the Man which is sprite, mango and pineapple soda. We took it back to the rest of my family and they enjoyed it enough to come by and get another pina colada in the pineapple. :) I can see why they have great reviews. The drinks are made fresh and while a bit pricier than what I would typically want to pay for this, it was worth it. The drinks are fresh, delicious and refreshing and definitely helped when eating the super buttery garlicky shrimp!“
“Great taco option for us in Mililani! Food truck taco and burrito options. No seating available. Priced very fair. Very tasty!! Got 2 tacos - chicken, fish (they were out of carne asada) and 1 shrimp burrito. Fish and shrimp were breaded. Tacos are street style but very generous with the protein. Very busy in the evening, be prepared to wait. Food was well worth the wait. Check their instagram @tacotruckhi to see hours and location. Will definitely be back!“

“The shrimp quality here is soo good! The shrimp here is so fresh, plump, and easy to peel. The garlic flavor is really tasty and cooked to perfection. The garlic rice is also cooked very well and was delicious.I went to multiple shrimp trucks in the area and this was my favorite! Highly recommend!“
“Steak Plate was well seasoned, tender and cooked perfect for my tastes. Pork belly was essentially deep fried extra thick cut bacon with an aioli sauce. Definitely a winner for me. It was crispy and tender at the same time, if that makes any sense.“

“For cooked fish, it was pretty good! And it's massive! You can easily make this into two meals. In order to eat here, you HAVE to follow their Instagram; that's where they post their hours and location. They're normally parked right across Waialua Elementary School where the big welcome sign is: "Welcome to Waialua. Home of the World's Best Sugar" You can just park on the dirt path while you patiently wait for them. There's usually already a couple of cars waiting before the truck arrives to snag a spot in line. Don't forget they're CASH ONLY and they do prefer smaller bills/exact change. Once you get your plates, you can drive down the road to the park (literally two minutes away) and picnic on the benches! I personally don't care for cooked fish but this wasn't so bad to me. Usually cooked fish is dry but I enjoyed this one. It's drenched in sauce which does get a bit heavy but it complemented the fish well. I'd say it's a food experience everyone should try at least once!“
