“The free tour was great and the shop is very interesting. I was able to walk right in without a weight and a staff. Member came up immediately and offered the free tour free tasting and everything that I could do and see. They have a coffee tree and a cacao tree in the back of the store that you can go and look at plenty of space for seating and the store is big enough to wander around in. The coffee and chocolate bars are not cheap, but I ended up getting one bar of the 70% dark chocolate.”

I had an unforgettable evening here recently when my son performed at their Friday open mic. “First time here for this local resident! I've driven past this intersection for decades and have no idea when this business popped up. Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.”

“So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.”

“So it’s like this… Kua ‘Aina Sandwich Shop has got to be the best burger for the job if you’re hungry amidst shopping for all the great gift ideas!! Bacon burger with all the fixings and also with the green chili Tabasco is mayjah and it scratches the itch every time. Really good as a medium rare burger. So juicy!! One of my favs!! Kudos!!”
