“This place is well worth the trip when you have a car rental and want to stay out of the crowded tourist crowds. We visited this shoppe on an early weekday morning and it wasn't busy at all. They have a lot of items in stock, and there was a kind staff member there who greeted us and gave us some coffee and chocolate free samples. We also got a tour of their coffee bean production plant, the coffee farm as well as a few cocoa plants that were at the back of the shoppe. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and bought some souvenir snacks here that we couldn't find elsewhere in the main Waikiki city. I recommend visiting this shop, and big thanks from Canada and the USA for the staff's kindness and hospitality!”

“🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Discovered Mele Mele Bakery by happy accident during one of their open mic nights—and it’s been a sweet love affair ever since (pun very much intended). This place is a charming mash-up of cozy, quirky, and cool. It’s got that laid-back local vibe that makes you feel instantly at home, whether you're here for the kava, the heavenly baked goods (seriously, their pastries should be illegal), or just to soak in some tunes. They’re not a vegan bakery, but they don’t leave plant-based folks out in the cold—there’s always a small, solid selection of vegan goodies that actually taste good (you know what I mean). Bonus points: they serve locally produced honey, they’re totally dog-friendly, and you’ll likely spot a few kids dancing along to the music while their parents sip kava like it’s their new favorite ritual (because it might be). I had an unforgettable evening here recently when my son performed at their Friday open mic. Watching him play to such a warm, supportive crowd while the smell of fresh bread filled the air…well, let’s just say this place has officially baked itself into my heart. If you're looking for good vibes, better bites, and a community feel that doesn’t feel forced—Mele Mele is your spot.”

“Without any doubt the best pizza on the island of Oahu My favorite is Jerry , pineapples, jalapeños, tomatoes , cheese. Great friendly service with Aloha . This place has a soul. Used to there when I lived on the North Shore and don’t mind driving across the island now - worth it!”
“After researching multiple Luau’s in Oahu, I decided on Toa and oh my gosh, I’m so glad I did! This show blew us all away! The food was amazing, the performers were amazingly talented and everyone was so incredibly friendly. We really did feel like part of their family towards the end of the night! Even my Dad, who isn’t impressed by much, said, “that was the best show I’ve seen in a while”. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“First time here for this local resident! I've driven past this intersection for decades and have no idea when this business popped up. Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.”

“I’m not usually a fan of shave ice, started with one bowl for my daughter. Omg. The flavours are amazing, natural Ingredients for the syrup instead of food colouring and artificial flavours. Went back for 2 more bowls! This place is amazing. Kudos to the team. Keep it up.”

“Extra special spot, very well done. This ain’t your crunchy vegan shack, they deliver gourmet delights. The servings sizes are not shy, and the prices are very fair. They really work some magic back in that kitchen. My visit exceeded my expectations. There was a lot on the menu I didn’t have room to try so I’ll be going back asap!”

Has a solid looking Breakfeast menu (I have yet to try), plate lunches (yum!), and dinner (definitely try). Recommended my a local I met and did not disappoint. When I arrived I didn’t know what to get and hadn’t had poi before and they so nicely brought me a taste before ordering 💚”

“So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.”
