“The best cafe! Mama J is the sweetest and radiates with joy! She puts her heart into each drink and sandwich that she makes ❤️ they are super tasty! Love her coffee!”
“Pretty okay, the burgers can be made better though. When I get mine they tend to be all sober the place and half my topping are outside of the burger when just opening it. Other than that they are pretty good and friendly.”
“The food was as always very good. The chicken fingers could be a little larger and the price point lowered five dollars. Which is why I did not give this establishment five stars. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Mahalo aaand Aloha!!!”
“I don't go here that often, but I am always treated well, am served quickly, and my food is good when I do go. It would be great if they participated in the Star Card program.Parking: If you go outside of meal hours or right after the base's business day is over, you will have no problems with parking. If you go during those times, you will be hard pressed to find a parking spot.”
“Moe's Southwest Grill at the food court main PX Schofield Barracks was Awesome. The Steak Stack and Steak Quesadillas were Outstanding. The cooking area was well cleaned and kept organized by the staff and they were very Aloha friendly. The prices were comparative to the local economy. Extra Guacamole is a small additional cost. I Very much recommend this establishment for a quick, delicious meal. Mahalo aaand ALOHA!!!”
“The nicest recreation center I have ever been to. Located on Schofield Military Base. Military, DOD or dependent ID required to enter base. Located next to a Chapel and Martinez Gym. There is plenty of street parking. The venue hosted Brian McKnight Concert. Doors opened at 6pm and show started at 7pm. The line started at 5pm. You weren't allowed to hold seats for anyone and every seat was first come first serve. Once the doors opened they checked your ID and let you in. Purses were allowed. And there was no dress code. Come in what you felt comfortable with. Don't forget the best part "Free, Free, Free" entrance. It was put together so elegant. You couldn't tell it was a recreation center. There were tables with white linen table cloths and intimate candles everywhere. I'm not sure if they had food. No one sitting next to me had food. They did serve alcohol drinks. I saw mixed drinks, wine bottles and different types of can beers as well. Brian McKnight came out on time, sang for one hour and a half with no breaks! If you went to pee you missed it. I'm glad he did it like that. I loved every moment. I don't like went artist break every five minutes or have you singing there song the whole time. It was none of that with Mr. McKnight. He is truly an artist, professional and funny.Mr. McKnight had a questions and after session after on stage that was about 20 minutes. Followed by a meet and greet. I left at the meet and greet. As I didn't see a sign up for that so I am unsure how people were able to show up. Thank you thank you thank you! So much for hosting this amazing event. I will be returning.”
“Had issues getting my orders and went into this place. The lady was absolutely amazing not only was she patient but I was able to get my orders. I've never had any issues even when inprocessing 3 years ago. I hope everyone in this building have a Blessed Holiday.”
“The protein bowls are great. Orher foodnlooked good also. Decent selection of beers and great service. Quick during lunch. Appreciate the early and late weekday hours.”
“This place is so dope. Last time I was here it was in 2011-2014 and it was Kolekole Bar and Grill. I love the 604 name and the fact that it is remodeled. It feels like a sports bar and the staff is awesome. The burgers are juicy and succulent. The wings are crispy and full of flavor and the game day nachos is lit. Thank god Schofield kept this gem.”
“Overall not bad! Got the regular cheese steak + bacon and a side of ultimate fries. It was very tasty. Overall I was more impressed than I thought I'd be since these arent "real" philly cheesesteaks (no whiz?), but it was a nice changeup from going to the other places in the food court. I'll be back!”
“I get the Chicken Tamale and it is the best tamale I have had on island. People complain about the prices, but suspect they haven't been on Hawaii long, because $15 is on par for MacDonald's and any other fast food. The flavor is amazing, the service is great and the price is on point. Also the best food court option.”
“This morning 12 December 2022 I went to the Burger King at the Food court at the PX on Schofield. I ordered a number 8 sandwich only and the person who prepared my sandwich was Awesome!!! Kudos to her.”
“the maître d was most hospitable and quickly showed me to a VIP table. the caviar was exquisite and the wine I was recommended, paired perfectly with the filet mignon.”
“Not many of the normal menu items and some were even out, but the food was good, and the service was even better. Conveniently close to the gate and the gas station also.”
“Starbucks is more than a coffee stop; it's a haven of warmth. The staff here doesn't just serve coffee; they share smiles and genuine friendliness. It's not just a cup; it's crafted with care. It is a cozy space where every visit feels like catching up with old friends.”
“This is the luau to go to in Oahu! The reviews I read before were accurate! The experience, food and “cousins” were all fantastic! The show was amazing and the cherry on top was access to the botanical gardens and water fall hike. Can’t beat that and much more authentic than your typical resort luau!”
“A must stop if you're on the North Shore! We weren't sure what kind of shop we were looking for, so we passed it up and missed the parking across the street, but there are a few parking spots right around the corner with a path that leads to the shop. We purchased the chocolate chip and mochi loaves. They were both really delicious; the mochi was super moist. If we were to go back, I would definitely get the mochi loaf again. I may have to check out their shipping options.”
“Absolute best poke I’ve had on the island - went in and asked them to make their best poke salad and they did not disappoint. My husband got the shaved ice and said it was super delicious and a generous amount of it. Highly recommend and will definitely come back! We even were able to sit outside at the picnic table. Great staff ”
“I rarely make it down to the North Shore but whenever I do - each and every time - i never fail to stop by this bakery! I always stock up on their snow puppies. I don't know what it is, but it is soooo delicious. Not too heavy and not too sweet but JUST the perfect amount. It's the perfect snack after a long day of swimming and it certainly satisfies my cravings. The custard inside is added at just the right amount and the drizzled chocolate on top gives it just the right finishing touches. They have other pastries and items here too but this is definitely what we come for every time!”
“Been coming here for years and it's a family favorite! The customer service is always amazing and they make you feel so welcomed the pizza is amazing, my personal favorite on the island n its brick-oven style so even better the decorations inside are so cute too, makes you feel like you're having a nice meal at home surrounded by people that love you (:”
“I absolutely love this place! 20/10 shave ice and friendly! I try to stop by as often as I can when I’m on that side. I also love taking my clients here! My favorite shave ice on island! ? (Blue vanilla + coconut = an unbeatable flavor combo in my opinion)”
“I loved the food, atmosphere and most of all the service! On vacation in Hawaii and our final lunch spot was here. Random stop. When we goggled their menu.... it looked amazing. We get there, and they did not disappoint. They gave us some samples to take on the road with us. They were the greatest! Stop in... you won't regret.”
“We drove north in a rental car and ate shave ice. It was crowded, but the rotation was good so it didn't take long. It would have been better to get the large size and add red beans, mochi, green tea, and condensed milk. That's all I failed, it was fluffy and delicious.Mr. Matsumoto was also at the store.Parking: I was able to find it right awayKid-friendliness: There were a lotWheelchair accessibility: There is a large parking lot in the back”
“Food is exceptional. Showed up as a picky eater. No fish. Food here is so damn good I've started eating new foods and have been at this sushi spot well over 50 times in the past 4 yearsGo to's are-Calvin's choice-SOS-Red Dragon-Spicy AhiBut holy S#!T the food here is fire a must whether tourist or live here best damn sushi on the island, always playing fire kpop music going goblin mode and great vibes. This place is a MUST puts dorakus to shame plus, fraction of the price. Get you some good a$$ sushi and stop by.”
“I think this place is so cute, to be honest I was kind of ignoring it because I figured it would be a huge tourist trap with that uninviting feeling, but I was definitely wrong! It gets a lot of foot traffic but the atmosphere remains so relaxed and friendly and open. The owner encourages you to try samples of everything; coffee, his chocolate covered coffee beans, etc. I got to try a few different things and it made for great conversation. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating all over the farm. I think this is actually my favorite place on island for a nice sit down and unwind :)”
“OMG THIS PLACE IS JUST AMAZING!! LIKE THE LIVE MUSIC IS THE BEST MUSIC IVE EVER HEARD ITS SO VIBY AND BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! THE STAFF IS S O KIND AND NICE AND LOVELY!! LIKE RECOMMEND SO SO SO MUCH<33333”
“north shore's favorite açaí spot! locals along with tourists know that hale'iwa bowls is a must-have when going to north shore. from the fruits to purée's, everything is so refreshing and tasty. the base itself is always dense, and topped with the perfect ratio of fruits and granola. the bowls are never skimpy and in my opinion, the small is enough for even 2 people the place is pretty small, as it's a walk-up type of service so i'd say it's pretty easy to miss! but it's such a nice place to stop by for a quick refreshment. there aren't a lot of seating outside, so feel free take it to the beach or walk around! @haleiwabowls overall: 5/5 order: - two (2) small, hapa açaí bowls parking: - in back lot behind the building - street parking nearby”
“The shrimp was excellent! The rice was good. They made special accommodations for my son who cannot have any dairy products to cook his shrimp without dairy products when we talked to them about his food allergy. I love that they went above and beyond to accommodate him. The only thing I would have changed it that the shrimp came in the shell and the seasoning was on the shell. You lose the seasoning when you remove the shell to eat it.The parking is a little crazy there. It's shared with several other food trucks and you can only park there if you're eating at one of the food trucks. Also, bathrooms in the area are very limited and it's hard to find a public restroom. There is a port-o-potty in the parking lot but it was bad!!! I would put it in the second worst bathroom I've ever been in. It hadn't been serviced in forever and the waste was all the way up to the toilet seat lid. The smell was horrible and it was disgusting. I didn't let this affect my review because it is a food truck area and I don't know who is responsible for the bathroom and it didn't directly affect the food truck. Thankfully, the food truck provided hand sanitizer because that was incredibly disgusting and there was nowhere to wash my hand afterwards. It is an emergency only bathroom!!”
“I eat here a lot, since it is the healthier option. Highly recommend and enjoy seeing the workers. We have est. a firstname basis and they brighten my day. Thank you to management for what you all have ”
