“After researching multiple Luau’s in Oahu, I decided on Toa and oh my gosh, I’m so glad I did! This show blew us all away! The food was amazing, the performers were amazingly talented and everyone was so incredibly friendly. We really did feel like part of their family towards the end of the night! Even my Dad, who isn’t impressed by much, said, “that was the best show I’ve seen in a while”. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I normally order online, it’s very convenient especially with a big family!

Sometimes, they can get busy which tells you that the food is GOOD! So ordering ahead makes things easier for me. Their website is straight forward, easy to navigate.

I must say they are pretty fast with getting my order packed up & ready! Staff are always very friendly & helpful.”

“JAX is by far the best pizza on all of the islands. The handmade dough and premium toppings in a 600 degree wood fired oven . Come get some its worth the trip!!! Salads and breadsticks all soooooo good”

“First time here for this local resident! I've driven past this intersection for decades and have no idea when this business popped up. Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.”

“I’m not usually a fan of shave ice, started with one bowl for my daughter. Omg. The flavours are amazing, natural Ingredients for the syrup instead of food colouring and artificial flavours. Went back for 2 more bowls! This place is amazing. Kudos to the team. Keep it up.”

“An adorable Vegas-meets-Hawaii themed town cafe. They make all their own sauces with real garlic so everything tastes super fresh and flavorful. We got the lasagna with a side Caesar salad and the hash bowl. The Caesar salad was hands down the best I've ever had. The owner is super friendly and gave some great Hawaii travel tips. Perfect late lunch/early dinner spot on way back to Waikiki after visiting the north coast. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-24”

“So it’s like this… Kua ‘Aina Sandwich Shop has got to be the best burger for the job if you’re hungry amidst shopping for all the great gift ideas!! Bacon burger with all the fixings and also with the green chili Tabasco is mayjah and it scratches the itch every time. Really good as a medium rare burger. So juicy!! One of my favs!! Kudos!!”

“Came in around 11:30am on a Friday, crowd was manageable im general but starting to really build. By the time. We finished eating. 30 minutes later, the crowd had really ballooned. Pebbles area itself doesn't have seating though. Parking was paid via parking lot in the food truck area itself, and was stuffed but not completely full

Ordered a pineapple coconut smoothie, if you add 3 bucks you could have the drink in a pineapple so that could be nice for a photo. The drink itself was nice, and hits the spot if youre having a particular savory and/or oily food

Service was standard fare, which is good to have in a food truck scenario

General vibe is nice mostly since there are other options in the area to compliment the drinks. The place itself was clean”

“I stopped by around 9am on a weekday. Music played inside quietly. It was a calm and welcoming environment. The girl that helped me at the register was super friendly and answered all my questions. There was available seating and not much of a wait. I ordered a steak wrap and a matcha latte. The matcha powder was mixed well and the wrap had a great amount of steak with the veggies. I think the the wrap was worth the price. The matcha a little pricey for the size.”

“The kona mocha coffee was amazing, highly recommend. We got the turkey avocado sandwich. It was not sliced turkey, it was a turkey salad but good. It was an average sandwich at a high cost. Service was fine, but someone did take our order and they were quick to replace it. Side of chips were stale and soggy since they were just placed next to the sandwich, not kept in a bag.”

“I always look forward to returning to Honos. Best food in this lot, and best spicy garlic shrimp I’ve had anywhere. I’ve tried multiple trucks here in Haleiwa and they do not compare. It is frustrating to read complaints about staff when we’ve never had an issue. Seems to me more like stuffy privileged people during busy season rather than being legitimate. Love Honos!”

“Several people told me to check out Banzai Bowls during my trip and I'm so glad I did. The bowls are amazing! My favorite was the MAUI SUNRISE, my son loved the DA KINE. The bowls are huge, you can get a small or large. Even the small is a good size. The toppings were fresh and delicious and the blends were amazing. So many choices I wanted to try them all. We enjoyed ours watching the sun set on the beach across the street. This is a great place I highly recommend. Thank you!”

“While no expert on Hawaiian cuisine one of the best lunches I have had on Oahu in a truly unexpected place. I had the spicy cashew chicken salad and kpig sandwich. I felt that I was eating something actually local prepared with care and the food was amazing. What nature hike has really awesome food, cafe and bar?!? On my food centric visit to Oahu this was a definite highlight and an unexpected bonus of just going to swim at the falls.”

We had the Pad Thai, Kaprow chicken (which came with a perfectly fried egg), fried rice and the Thai Basil bowl. We ordered online and it was ready when we were told, even during the dinner rush.

“Everything we tried was delicious! We went to Oahu for a week and ate here multiple times during our stay. Croissant breakfast sandwich with any kind of meat is delicious. Spam fried rice plate is great if you're looking for a big breakfast. The pastries, cinnamon rolls and pies were fantastic! The coconut cake was my favorite though! perfect, light, fluffy cake. I don't even like coconut!”

“The chicken curry katsu was tasty and very large, regular. It was enough for 2-3 persons and the mac salad was old style good. Another L&L I went to was very disappointing, 3 pc of teriyaki on an $18 plate. So it depends where you go.”

“My acai bowl was really good! Good portion for your price (for Hawaii). I loved: the fruit and texture. Didn’t love as much: the granola, how light the acai was. It also took forever to get my acai bowl, but they had quite a lot of orders and were working the whole time. The two girls working were very nice to me, and made me feel welcome!”
