Tourist trap, nothing special just lots of garlic on shrimp and rice.
This is the worst representation of shrimp dish , the spicy shrimp taste like it soaked in tobasco sauce, the rice is wet , I would not recommend this place.
We visited your Haleiwa truck this week. Shrimp taste was good, rice was super mushy/overcooked.
However, the entire food truck area doesn't offer bathrooms for clients and your truck staff sent us to the McDonalds across the street (that is ridiculous and insulting). How come an eating place doesn't offer restroom/sanitation stations? Also, there was no place to wash our hands and your tables were extremely filthy as if you NEVER clean them. The garlic shrimp is the best comparing to other places on the island. The shell is flavorful. Sprinkling some lemon juice on top really brings out the flavour. It's a decent food truck spot with some seating but perhaps not the most sanitary. Parking can be challenging, with a paid lot that often fills up during peak hours.
