“Starbucks is more than a coffee stop; it's a haven of warmth. The staff here doesn't just serve coffee; they share smiles and genuine friendliness. It's not just a cup; it's crafted with care. It is a cozy space where every visit feels like catching up with old friends.“
“A must stop if you're on the North Shore! We weren't sure what kind of shop we were looking for, so we passed it up and missed the parking across the street, but there are a few parking spots right around the corner with a path that leads to the shop. We purchased the chocolate chip and mochi loaves. They were both really delicious; the mochi was super moist. If we were to go back, I would definitely get the mochi loaf again. I may have to check out their shipping options.“
“I think this place is so cute, to be honest I was kind of ignoring it because I figured it would be a huge tourist trap with that uninviting feeling, but I was definitely wrong! It gets a lot of foot traffic but the atmosphere remains so relaxed and friendly and open. The owner encourages you to try samples of everything; coffee, his chocolate covered coffee beans, etc. I got to try a few different things and it made for great conversation. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating all over the farm. I think this is actually my favorite place on island for a nice sit down and unwind :)“
“Recommended by the Hawaiian Traveller to check this place out and try their ube shake and shave ice. Not only did we walk into this Old Sugar Mill for sweets, we walked into a coffee tour, cacao tasting in its natural form, and sampled their coffee with different production methods. Dole company partners with Old Sugar Mill so we were able to see how coffee beans are processed from cropping to fermentation. The Ube shake was made fresh and definitely tasty! The passionfruit shave ice was a lil too sweet so Ube smoothie helped balanced out! Thank you Old Sugar Mill for sharing your story!“
“It was the most delicious shaved ice I've ever eaten! !The price also seemed cheap compared to other stores. My daughter was injured by the pill box, but out of concern, they also gave me a band-aid and disinfectant. If I come to Hawaii again, I will definitely come back! !“
“Right in the beginning of the north shore or at the very end depending on which route you take. The ladies handling out samples of nuts and coffee are nice and pleasant. The fam and I walked over and got an acai bowl and it was cool and tasty.“
“Wow, just wow. This off the beaten path cafe is amazing. Cool vibes, delicious food, and fantastic service. Coffee, waffles, pitas, and pizza. We tried it all and it’s top notch. Highly recommend making a stop here when you are on the North Shore!“
“Ice cream was amazing and the service was exceptional for such a busy hotspot. The gelato was of great quality, it reminded me and my partner of Sicilian ice cream, which is a huge compliment! I personally loved the biscoff flavoured ice cream the most.We will definitely be coming back soon :)“
“Another hidden gem on Oahu. Not your typical ice cream parlor. Limited flavors but they all sound delicious. You won’t be disappointed. server was great and helpful while she described each flavor. It’s close by Costco in a small shopping “
“What a spectacular food cart! The crepes were absolutely delicious and the gentleman working was so friendly and personable. The prices were very reasonable and the portion size was huge! He really loaded it up with fresh fruit for us! Thank you for giving us such a great start to vacation!“
“I like to think of myself as a smoothie connoisseur and the Aloha smoothie is so GOOD plus the chocolate chip banana bread was great too. Lines get long so be patient! There is also a sitting area where you can relax before heading to the beach, read a book, or if you just finished a morning tour.P.S. bathrooms are located on the right side of the building keep walking and you will see a restroom sign!“
“After visitng beaches and a long walk in the Haleiwa area we were ready for a dessert or drink to cool off. The matcha smoothie sounded really good at Island vintage so we decided to pop in. After scanning over the menu we decided on a matcha smoothie. It was so good at the moment, I'm not sure of it was just because of the heat or what but felt really enjoyable. However some time after heading out of the cafe i started getting a stomachAche. So not sure what to think of it now“
“Came here for a quick bite and to find some iced matcha latte. The staff that helped me was friendly. For $17.23, I got a 16 oz iced matcha latte with almond milk and a bacon & spinach breakfast burrito. The matcha was underwhelming. No matcha flavor at all, just milk. The burrito was actually good for pre-made. On the smaller side for the price. I think this place is big on coffee according to the customers and reviews..Just don't get the matcha. Nice relaxing atmosphere to chill and hang out.Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfast burrito, acai bowlParking: Street parking, no lot.“
“I ate at Giovanni's shrimp truck and came to get an acai bowl for dessert. Parking is also free. Best of all, it's not too sweet, it's healthy, and it tastes delicious! The friendly guys responded pleasantly and Wi-Fi was available.Anyway, it's delicious! A place that should be known for its shrimp eating course! Unlike 5 years ago, Giovanni's shrimp truck charges parking fees. It's $2 though.“
“We were greeted by two lovely young ladies. We ordered "2" Macha Frappuccino with coconut milk and ube cake. The Macha frap tasted like the Japanese Macha ice cream from Tanaka of Tokyo or from Dave's Ice Cream. The Ube cake was soft and not overpowering in sweetness it was just right. We were greeted as we exited and we enjoyed our refreshing drinks and soft ube cake“
“Picking up an Instagram prize in Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii...I'm sure I've been to this Teapresso Bar location in the past. I remember that Instagram-worthy wall mural and the #sakuraSwing! However, my sister and my niece aren't familiar with these things and this place. They agreed to come with me and help me consume the FOUR Brownie Lattes (made with Kilani Bakery brownies) AND a pack of the famous brownies! Yeah! This is such a generous prize!I parked in the free shared lot and told the gal (Rose) at the counter that I was one of the Instagram winners. I asked if one of the lattes could be made with Oat Milk. Yes! Can do!We took a lot of photos, and the owner's wife took our group photo, too! LOL! My family is camera shy... The Brownie Latte is delicious! It was created from the old Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commercial... when the guy and the gal bump into each other while one was eating a chocolate bar and the other was eating from an open jar of peanut butter. If you look at Teapresso Bar's Instagram post, a guy and a gal bump into each other while one is eating a vanilla Latte from Teapresso Bar Wahiawa and the other is eating a brownie from Kilani Bakery. LOL! Very clever collaboration!Thank you, Teapresso Bar Wahiawa, for your generosity - not only towards me and the other two winners - but also to the community. I watched Instagram videos of graffiti clean-up; distribution of drinks to the fire fighters, police officers, and other community members; participation in community events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and community involvement with organizations such as the local Rotary Club! Kudos to you!Your business is truly amazing because of the way you train your young workers and the way you treat others! You give the next generation an opportunity to learn excellent customer service skills and also provide patrons with exciting new drink menu items like Pumpkin Haupia Latte and the Immuni-tea series! Thanks for hanging in there during "the pandemic", "rude" customers, and even enduring a car crashing through the wall of the neighboring business! You've survived so much and still maintain a positive Aloha Spirit!Best wishes for continued success and happiness! We will be back!“
“Hands down, one of the best places for boba in my opinion. The tea is always brewed fresh daily. The boba itself is not hard or too chewy. Drinks are made to order. The staff is always patient, friendly and kind even with my two energetic boys running around. The ambience is so cute and the place is always clean.“
“Great coffee and food. Stop there atleast twice a week. Some of the best coffee I've had!Only issue I've had is they no longer stir my strikers and they're almost always separated. Since they moved to straws with no lid I have a hard time stiring it until I've already drank part of my drink“
“This is one of those authentic local joints that can be hard to find amidst all the touristy joints. Bill and Reba Martin are extremely welcoming and the dark roast natural process coffee was some the best I have tasted in my long life. Robust, but not at all bitter, and more pleasant than Sumatran. They grow it and process it right there. The power was out, so they couldn't grind any, so they sold me some ground coffee at the whole-bean price. They also hosted us around the store, which is in a cavernous old industrial building, with flashlights. When we were done, Bill showed me the roaster and then Reba took us behind the store for a look at the coffee and cacao beans laid out on tables and concrete to ferment. They also had old sugar mill equipment, that her Filipino community used to operate. She was rightfully proud. A real treasure and the highlight of the day.“
“The coffe was really good and the entire place was really neatVegetarian options: There coffe was vegetarian and there abocado shake and shaveice is good tooParking: There is a parking spot right near the café and it isnt ammed that much and you Can just park your car and walk right inKid-friendliness: The staff are really kind só they don't really mind about anything just as long as no one is hurt“
“Wanted a sit down breakfast with an old diner feel and these are hard to come by nowdays. Closest was in Waipahu so said why not and went down to Rockys. Found street parking and sat immediately at the counter. Havent been here over a decade but everything was still the same?Ordered coffee, the famous Rockys Fried Rice Omelette with green onion and a Banana Pancake. Carbed out but you only live once? Best choice I made. Fyi weekdays they close at 11am so lucky i made it?? Five stars... Support local. *now accepting cash and credit cards?Parking: Free Street parking or parking in the parking lot in back“
“Friendly service and clean, spacious interior. Tried the sugar cookie almond milk latte, and the drink was ready to go in a matter of minutes. Not too sweet, and satisfied my craving for a festive, holiday-themed drink. My bf isn't a fan of coffee in general, but he also thought the drink was pretty good after having a taste--what a bonus! ;)“
“The food stands out from the other restaurants I’ve visited in Taghazout. A great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I highly recommend the tajines. You will have to request one to be made for you ahead of time and make a reservation. Service can be slow if you order something else off the menu at a busy time, but worth the wait.“
“This was a fun side trip. SUPER friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. We took a little tour about cocoa and coffee beans that was very interesting. They even gave us a tasting afterward. They have a lot of fun souvenirs. We loved the natural shaved ice as well. The coconut flavor was amazing. We also had the dark chocolate, strawberry, mango, and lilikoi and they were all delicious.“
“A definite must if your in the area. Caught them just as they opened and only 2 other people in store. I got the birthday cake which was sooo good. Was able to sample the coffee flavored which I immediately regretted not getting. Very creamy and noticeably different from your normal icecreams! Parking is a little tough, but was an easy in and out. Clean and very friendly staff that was able to expand on the popular flavors and suggestions.“
“Kickin' Sweets was awesome enough to do a pop up at Ward Center and gave away FREE brownies with chantilly icing, FREE chocolate chip cookes with chantily icing, and FREE iced coffee! They were situated in between the business in a sort of "hall/alley" area. I would have missed them if it wasn't for the crowd of people and me wondering what is going on? So generous to use his valuable time to hand out his delicious products and not ask for $. Mister and I both got the brownie with chantily icing. It was a fair enough piece and the chantilly was topped upon ordering. I didn't take a photo thinking it probably wasn't going to be much to share about, boy was I so wrong. We ate our brownie further down the shopping center, after I took the first bite, I went back to notice the name of the business because I intend to shop there next time around! The brownie was moist, and the chantilly was not too sweet, it was a perfect and yummy combination. Mister enjoyed the iced coffee too. THANK YOU FOR THE FREE STUFF!“
“I stopped by my local Starbucks because I needed to get out of the house. Working from home can be strenuous on the mind and body. Lots of snacking...lol. I ventured out to Haleiwa Starbucks and picked up my free birthday drink. Medium Hot Chocolate without whipped cream. The manager was really nice. She gave me my drink today even tho yesterday was my birthday. All the young ladies were happily working and it just made for a delightful experience. So as I sit here outside perishing for my meeting. The location is super busy. The customers walk in and immediately walk out. That's pure productivity at its best. By the way, my Hot Chocolate is da bomb. Great place to get some work done and grab a bite to eat.“
“I have been getting an Iced Latte from them in a regular basis and I want to say that they have always been very friendly... the coffee is great too. They also have a lot of interesting pastries and deserts. Although I am not a sweets person, the items I have tried were all very good.“
“[Banzai Bowls] Perfect for Hawaii ♡ Fruity organic acaiBanzai Bowls in Haleiwa, North Shore. First of all, let's eat acai for breakfast, right? It took me a while to decipher the menu lol・THE OG BOWL small $10.29・ExtrasMANGO $1.50BLUEBERRIES $1.50STRAWBERRIES $1.50A style of topping fruit on top of an acai mix smoothie. Are you going to ride it somehow?Enough volume for a small size share.A healthy breakfast with sticky acai, smoothie, and plenty of granola. It's super sweet with plenty of honey on the fruit lolI don't feel like I'm being fashionable when I eat a smoothie or acai lol“
“The food is really excellent. Cakes and the rest of bakery goods are great. Pizzas are like expensive gourmet pies. The pizza dough/crust is delicious. Not greasy! Beef brisket is also really good. Everything is so affordable it's one of the few killer deals left these days.“
“Swung by after a long day and work and was craving some boba. You have to spend $10 or more to use card so I ended up getting a jumbo milk tea and a caramel cheesecake/cake. The cake was really delicious, pretty sweet, but tasted fresh. The boba was good and it hit the spot. This place is kind of tucked away and I only saw one gentleman working but he was very fast and friendly.“
“I genuinely adore this cozy beverage shop! They offer a diverse range of drinks, including coffee, tea, and iced beverages. Their menu features unique options infused with guava, lilikoi, and passion orange--fruits indigenous to Hawaii. The shaved ice, their main spotlight, is especially delicious. My friend opted for the pineapple flavor, and after sampling it, I found it to be incredibly refreshing, with just the right amount of syrup--perfect for warm weather. The pricing is impressively reasonable. A large shaved ice costs less than $5! The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. This spot is a fantastic pitstop on our way to the beach.“
“I haven't been here in years. And it is exactly as I remember it. The weight is short don't let the line overwhelm you. The food is great. The only negative that I experience was the flies were flying on the ketchup bottle and the Shoyu bottles. A few times the fly landed on my husband's water cup. Plus the type of music they play was a very disturbing.“
“I was craving boba on my shopping trip so I decided to stop by. The cereal milk tea caught my eye and I knew I had to try it. The boba was sweet and chewy, the milk tea tasted like fruity pebbles, and it was really creamy. The women working were very friendly and my order didn't take long at all! It's just a small food truck, so they were out of some things but overall, really well and the price is average.“
“The wintermelon tea was good and the bubble tea is not overly sweet! The creme brulee was horrible and not like other places with like a crisp cheese foam. It tasted like they just threw in a chunk of actual creme brulee and blended it, making it chunky and hard to drink. Would recommend anything else though.“
“We have visited many a Starbucks on Oahu and the mainland. I will say that the Waianae Starbucks is the best. Hands down. Service is super fast. Employees take their jobs seriously and finish orders as quick as they come in. Always pleasantries with the staff, and any issues or mistakes, or even last minute add-ons are never a problem. Inside is always clean. They used to have a bigger seating area until covid hit. Now, there is just enough. This may seem like a hidden gem, but everybody on the West side knows this place is special. Try visit during a busy time. You will hear the staff talking with the people by their first names. Sometimes you wanna go, where everybody knows your naaame....“
“I love Teapresso! I normally go to their location in Wahiawa, but this spot is very convenient if you go grocery shopping as it is located right inside the Times Supermarket in Mililani. It's very quick and I haven't seen super long lines. The staff is always very friendly. The area has ample parking space since it is part of a shopping plaza. Good, simple boba!“
“Not quite sure what this place is...Xpresso Cafe is creative name with an usual layout.Just happened to stop by here while I was in Waipahu and was taken back how dark it was especially since it was on a weekend the vibe here was just simply simple.Majority of the place is like a fun arcade games with some seating while the rest is Xpresso Cafe with a menu offering a huge variety of bites and feeling a bit hungry I got the Ube Latte with Almond Milk and Spicy Burger! The Ube latte was really yummy nothing really stands out but I really liked it and appreciate having the Almond Milk alternative, and my Spicy Burger was that for sure spicy! The sauce was so yummy and spicy though I later recall it didn't come with bacon like the menu says but I thoroughly enjoyed my burger it hit the spot and my appetite was filled! Not quite sure where were able to park but found several street parking making it easy for quick bite with a great staff who was very accommodating, this cute place offers an interesting chill vibe and with food like this makes it Xcellent!Thank you!“
“We go there for the shaved ice which is very fine ice, just the way we like it. It's a little slow so we normally always have to wait. They have a seating area outside next to the playground with a view of the pool.Kid-friendliness: Nice playground for little kids.“
“During my shopping trip today, I decided to stop in Starbucks for a hot grande Chai Tea Latte. Upon walking in, the store was extremely busy. It was clean and you can see everyone enjoying their orders. The barista met me at the register and promptly took my order. She was friendly, and though she was busy, took the time to make sure that my order was correct and made sure I didn't want anything else I honestly thought it would be a little bit because there was a long line. However, the staff was getting drink orders out in a timely fashion, and I didn't have to wait long at all! I enjoyed my Chai Tea and left a happy customer.“
“Was in the middle of reorganizing and getting new furniture when I was there, but I can tell it's gonna be a really nice spot when they are done. I would recommend parking a bit away from the shop and walking over. The nook it's in can be tight for parking.“
“Found this place on a whim while in-processing. For real for real the best açaí bowl I’ve had on island. And I love that I could eat lunch here in between briefings at the soldier support center or get caffeine to help me stay awake during some of those briefings. There’s plenty of parking, but you have to go park at soldier support center. Then you walk through or around it. Mama J’s is literally a trailer and it can be easy to miss.Parking: Soldier support center parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
