We weren't sure what kind of shop we were looking for, so we passed it up and missed the parking across the street, but there are a few parking spots right around the corner with a path that leads to the shop. We purchased the chocolate chip and mochi loaves. They were both really delicious; the mochi was super moist. If we were to go back, I would definitely get the mochi loaf again. “I think this place is so cute, to be honest I was kind of ignoring it because I figured it would be a huge tourist trap with that uninviting feeling, but I was definitely wrong! It gets a lot of foot traffic but the atmosphere remains so relaxed and friendly and open. The owner encourages you to try samples of everything; coffee, his chocolate covered coffee beans, etc. I got to try a few different things and it made for great conversation. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating all over the farm. I think this is actually my favorite place on island for a nice sit down and unwind :)“

Not only did we walk into this Old Sugar Mill for sweets, we walked into a coffee tour, cacao tasting in its natural form, and sampled their coffee with different production methods. Dole company partners with Old Sugar Mill so we were able to see how coffee beans are processed from cropping to fermentation. The Ube shake was made fresh and definitely tasty! “We were greeted by two lovely young ladies.We ordered "2" Macha Frappuccino with coconut milk and ube cake.The Macha frap tasted like the Japanese Macha ice cream from Tanaka of Tokyo or from Dave's Ice Cream. “Picking up an Instagram prize in Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii...I'm sure I've been to this Teapresso Bar location in the past. I remember that Instagram-worthy wall mural and the #sakuraSwing! However, my sister and my niece aren't familiar with these things and this place. They agreed to come with me and help me consume the FOUR Brownie Lattes (made with Kilani Bakery brownies) AND a pack of the famous brownies! Yeah! This is such a generous prize!I parked in the free shared lot and told the gal (Rose) at the counter that I was one of the Instagram winners. I asked if one of the lattes could be made with Oat Milk. Yes! Can do!We took a lot of photos, and the owner's wife took our group photo, too! LOL! My family is camera shy... The Brownie Latte is delicious! It was created from the old Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commercial... when the guy and the gal bump into each other while one was eating a chocolate bar and the other was eating from an open jar of peanut butter. If you look at Teapresso Bar's Instagram post, a guy and a gal bump into each other while one is eating a vanilla Latte from Teapresso Bar Wahiawa and the other is eating a brownie from Kilani Bakery. “This is one of those authentic local joints that can be hard to find amidst all the touristy joints. Bill and Reba Martin are extremely welcoming and the dark roast natural process coffee was some the best I have tasted in my long life. Robust, but not at all bitter, and more pleasant than Sumatran. They grow it and process it right there. The power was out, so they couldn't grind any, so they sold me some ground coffee at the whole-bean price. They also hosted us around the store, which is in a cavernous old industrial building, with flashlights. When we were done, Bill showed me the roaster and then Reba took us behind the store for a look at the coffee and cacao beans laid out on tables and concrete to ferment. They also had old sugar mill equipment, that her Filipino community used to operate. She was rightfully proud. A real treasure and the highlight of the day.“

She gave me my drink today even tho yesterday was my birthday. All the young ladies were happily working and it just made for a delightful experience. So as I sit here outside perishing for my meeting. The location is super busy. The customers walk in and immediately walk out. That's pure productivity at its best. The only negative that I experience was the flies were flying on the ketchup bottle and the Shoyu bottles. A few times the fly landed on my husband's water cup. It was clean and you can see everyone enjoying their orders. The barista met me at the register and promptly took my order. She was friendly, and though she was busy, took the time to make sure that my order was correct and made sure I didn't want anything else I honestly thought it would be a little bit because there was a long line. However, the staff was getting drink orders out in a timely fashion, and I didn't have to wait long at all! I enjoyed my Chai Tea and left a happy customer.“
