I’ve been coming to the North Shore for the past 9 years except for 2021. One of the places we visit is old Waialua Sugar Mill. It’s the last working sugar cane plantation to close in 1996. I genuinely adore this cozy beverage shop! They offer a diverse range of drinks, including coffee, tea, and iced beverages. Their menu features unique options infused with guava, lilikoi, and passion orange--fruits indigenous to Hawaii. The shaved ice, their main spotlight, is especially delicious. This was a fun side trip. SUPER friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. We took a little tour about cocoa and coffee beans that was very interesting. They even gave us a tasting afterward. They have a lot of fun souvenirs. We loved the natural shaved ice as well. The coconut flavor was amazing. We also had the dark chocolate, strawberry, mango, and lilikoi and they were all delicious.
