“Went here for a birthday lunch and they normally give a birthday dessert but they didn't this time so not sure if they even do that anymore. The food was good and the amount was plentiful. The service was very slow and inattentive which is not typical of Roy's even if it was for lunch. What made me comment about it was the fact that it wasn't even busy. We had to a long time for our server to respond. There were also a lot of flies and they didn't have ceiling fans or those automatic fly chasers so we spent the entire time waving flies away which took away from our experience and enjoyment of the birthday.“

“The baristas are always pleasant, friendly, and efficient. I prefer CBTL drinks and food over the "other guys" and the Makakilo location is top notch. Order my bevvies, grab some poke and lechon from the deli, then the drinks are ready when I'm done. Perfect.“

“One of my favorite pastry shops. Great selection and tasty! They have coffee drinks and some other alternatives. Good parking lot. They have Ube flavors, taro, etc. There is some rotation of flavors. The coconut tart may be small but it's very fluffy and delicious.

Parking: Shares lot with Safeway and other shops but plenty of room.“

“Great choice of food and drink. We walked down here from Aulani. They have Starbucks coffee ( they don’t participate in the Starbucks stars program) and it is located in a gift shop which has a nice selection of gifts, clothing, and Hawaiian items.“

“First time here. I thought it be just like any other place. But I was wrong. I had the BBH and my husband the crispy noodles with vegetables and seafood stir fry. All the flavors were there and where it was supposed to be. They didn't skip on their seasoning! It was delicious!! ??? definitely recommend and will come back for more!!! Their food portions are on the larger side. Nothing wrong with that just come hungry or share with family/friends! Service was friendly and quick. Lady who took our order so super nice!“

“The place was very clean and well maintained and the staff were all very friendly and courteous. The male staff especially showed exceptional professionalism and was willing to help me out when I was trying to enter my gift card number manually, and he even did that for me. “First time stopping in here. Wish I would have stopped a long time ago when they opened. Great atmosphere and awesome service! The ladies working today were great! I had the Vietnamese coffee and my wife had the Mango/kumquat Boba tea. Her tea was amazing and I have never had Vietnamese coffee until now and WOW is all I can say. I will definitely be back every time I stop at Ka'makana Ali'i.“
