“This was my first Luau. It was a lot of fun. They had a nice buffet and 1 alcoholic drink or soda included. The dancing was amazing. The Chief was funny and engaging. I would recommend this Luau for the experience.”
“Always love the food and service here. The fries are my favorite on the island!”
“Aunty and her employees are always so nice and welcoming. As the face of the restaurant, she doesn't disappoint with her constant smile and infectious laughter.
The restaurant has converted to an AYCE menu wich is reasonably priced and they kept their more famous appetizers on the menu as well.
Can't forget to save room for that shaved ice at the end!”
“It's fun and kids love dancing with Chuck E. Cheese & with awesome food.”

“We highly recommend Moani island Bistro. The owners have created a wonderful choice of food and all of the staff are awesome! Their food was delicious and the wait staff especially Raina and the two brothers that work the bar were so much fun. The owner came out and introduced herself. We loved it so much we went three times on our stay! 10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“By far one of the best meals my family and I ever had. The canoe appetizer was off the charts and the meals were even better. The ahi tuna and both the 16 is cab steak and the wagyu A-5 6oz was incredible and the desserts were even better. Highly recommend”

“My friend and I flew in today and are flying out tomorrow morning. She said we need Poke! So after looking up reviews and hearing good things about Monarch ..we were on our way! A short Uber ride later we ended up in this little place with huge portions of different kinds of Poke. I am not a a spicy type eater so the poke nachos I had were perfect and the Ube cheese cake delicious. So fresh! I'm glad we found this hidden gem and I hope you find it too!”
“Excellent food; knowledgeable and polite server who was very attentive but not hovering and the team of servers that brought the different dishes added to the experience; location and seating was fabulous where outside seating wasn't so busy with foot traffic of pedestrians or hotel guests”

“Manalo Lounge is a solid spot if you're looking for great drinks, small bites, and a relaxed upscale vibe. The open-air setting is beautiful, especially around sunset, and it feels like the perfect place to unwind without the stuffiness of a formal restaurant. The cocktails were well-crafted and balanced, not overly sweet, and the food was flavorful despite being more share-style portions. Everything came out looking fresh and thoughtfully plated. It's definitely more of a lounge experience than a full dinner, but that's part of the appeal. Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff did a great job making recommendations. Prices are what you'd expect for a resort lounge, but the atmosphere and quality make it worth it. Overall, a great place for drinks, light bites, and good vibes — especially if you're catching the sunset or starting your night at the Four Seasons.”
“This is the best luau on Oahu. It's better than every major luau in Waikiki, Honolulu, and everywhere else on the island.
It truly feels special from start to finish with the operational excellence for large crowds that Disney resorts know how to do better than anyone. There's a reason why you need to
make reservations around 5 months in advance.
Unlike many mass produced luaus, the food at Ka Wa'a is actually good. Really good. The sweet potatoes, prime rib, kalua style pork (which I normally don't even like!), all the way to the desserts, all delicious. Far better than something like Paina Waikiki, which is not great and makes you wonder why you paid so much for some of the worst Hawaiian food you've ever had. You pay more for Ka Wa'a, and you probably drive further out of town than you planned to for a luau, but you will have no regrets.
The nighttime show is perfectly timed. First hour is for check-in and activities, including temporary tattoos, ukeleles, grinding taro, and grabbing drinks. At 6:00 PM, the first tables are called for the buffet. Preferred seating eats first, but the lines move fast and there's time for seconds. At 7:00, the show starts, and that's where it all comes together in a beautiful raised stage setup where nearly every seat is a good one.
The show features such talented performers that really make the night magical. They present memorable stories of Hawaii and all of the musicians are top notch.
Pro tip: Mickey and Minnie only show up to do one dance on stage, and they don't stick around for photos (would be impossible with a crowd this size), so show up early, check the video boards for their character schedules, check in to the luau, leave, then find Mickey and Minnie from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a photo. After getting a very relaxed, enjoyable photo, head back into the luau with plenty of time to spare for activities and dinner.
I've been to Oahu many times, and this is the only luau I've seen that I would recommend to anyone and describe as truly magical and 100% worth it.”

“It was just okay. The flight of pancakes looked amazing, but it tasted just OK. None of the toppings really had a standout flavor. The ube had no taste, except the pancake itself which was chocolate tasted of generic chocolate. The other 2 were a bit yummier, but had an undercooked taste, like raw dough. It seemed cooked throughout, despite that taste. We also ordered waffles, and that was much better tasting. Service was decent, the young lady serving us was kind enough to replace my coffee after a bug flew in it. Food came out pretty fast as well. Price is fair for Hawaii.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Outstanding PHÓ, substantial serving sizes with plenty of protein and veggies in a flavorful broth. Bahn Mi (Vietnamese style sandwiches,) spring roll, summer roll, salads, vermicelli plates, rice dishes and a whole lot more to enjoy. Soft drinks are always available able. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant gets busy at times and this may slow down the outstanding service,”

“The portions here are HUGE! The kalbi combo is a steal and the marinade is amazing.
We ended up eating here three times during our five day trip in Ko Olina.
A mini size was perfect for me (2 kalbi ribs with rice and two sides). My husband did well with the regular (3 kalbi ribs with rice and four sides). You can also buy more side dishes.
Everything tasted super fresh and delicious.
P.S., my husband couldn’t stop man crushing on the cook/owner? He looks like a Korean actor!”
“Quality food! Both for dining-in and for take-out. Everybody in the family can find something they love on their menu. You can tell this is a family run business and the workers are like a family. Great for families or going out with friends. We love BOP, definitely our go to place to eat and drink!”
“We went here twice for breakfast while staying at Aulani. It was a cheaper option, and the food was wonderful. The bacon jalapeno fried rice hit the spot without breaking the bank. We shared the fruit pancakes with that and were very satisfied. We walked, but there were a few parking spots.”
“The Sunday Buffet was amazing. The service and food are amazing and theblocation outside with music was perfect for a breakfast in January. Will definitely go again when we come back to the island.”

“Could just be a preference, the fish toco where a little dry. Crispy pork, i prefer the vegetables mixed and a little more vinegar bite in the sauce. Garlic fries, again it could just be preference, it just didn't feel like Garlic fries im used to getting. It just wasn't mixed more like melted butter. Poke nachos... it was good just the sauce wasn't that spread out as much. Overall it was good atmosphere. For taste. To each their own.”
“I was at Best Buy for a while before learning I'd be waiting for techs to personalize my purchase which could've taken up to 4.5 for them to get to. Supervisor Alondra suggested I go to a Saimen place, La Tour & another place. I walked over and into La tour. The menu looked great! I saw a roast beef dip sandwich I may have chosen but when I saw a "Falafel" sandwich I was very intrigued as I never saw this on any menu at a casual restaurant in Waikiki area. OMG...that sandwich was 😍 unexpectedly⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive! 😋😋 It had noodle shaped crisp (white color) pieces of pickled turnip ( I think that's what it tasted like- please confirm or correct me?) and same shaped carrots, a perfect amount of tasty-sweet & slighty spicy sauce on a outer layer of thin crisp (perhaps it was slightly toasted?) but soft inside, square edged sub roll? I still have a little over 1/2 left! Love Falafels but am used used to the normal style of it served with a cool creamy sauce (maybe cucumber) in a toasted Pita bread. This seemed like an Asian style spin off! If they deliver in Waiks, I will likely order it again as it's Too far/expensive via car to travel there. The cold brew coffee was good also and I tried "Oat creamer" for the 1st time and liked it! Thank you ladies for the very friendly service 😊 ( I was a host at CF for almost 9yrs,😉 and also trained many hosts.) and it was my first time ever "Eating in Public" (as it also wasn't a planned adventure) and taking off my mask. People were over 10 ft away and 12 feet away from my table. more people did line up for take out as I stayed for at least an hour until almost 4pm-ish.”
“Rather you're visiting from a neighboring hotel, local or staying at the Four Seasons like myself, this is a great place to hang. You get poolside vibes with a view of the beach. Over the course of 5 days, the staff was fun and competitive. Shout out to Brandy, Daniel, Trent, Heidi, Ryan, Chad, Christian in particular for their deliciously tasting drinks. Shout out to Corina for excellent service at the cabana one of those days! The food is also good. I've had the Fish & Chips, Kalua nachos (nachos w/Kalua pork on the side), double burger to name a few. Fish & Chips are the go-to.”
“I recently visited Kazoku Sushi in Kapolei, located along Kamokila Boulevard near the center of Oʻahu’s west side community. Kapolei continues to grow as a residential and commercial hub, and restaurants like Kazoku Sushi play an important role in providing dependable neighborhood dining options for locals.
The atmosphere feels relaxed and comfortable, with a layout typical of a casual sushi restaurant. The interior is simple and practical, with both table seating and a sushi bar where guests can watch chefs prepare rolls and sashimi. It has the kind of welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits from local residents rather than aiming for a formal dining experience.
The menu offers a wide selection of familiar Japanese dishes. Sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi make up the core of the offerings, along with cooked items such as tempura, teriyaki plates, and bento combinations. The sushi tends to be generously portioned, and the range of rolls provides something approachable for both traditional sushi fans and those who prefer more creative combinations.
Service during the visit felt friendly and efficient. Staff were attentive without being overly formal, which fits well with the restaurant’s neighborhood dining atmosphere.
From a global travel perspective, Kazoku Sushi reminds me of the everyday sushi restaurants found throughout Japan and across coastal cities around the world where the emphasis is on consistency, accessibility, and a comfortable dining environment.”
“I stopped by S7 Icy Bubble in Kapolei and it quickly stood out as a great local spot if you are looking for refreshing bubble tea and fruit drinks on the west side of Oʻahu.
The shop focuses on a variety of drinks including classic milk teas, fruit teas, and iced specialty drinks with toppings like tapioca pearls and other add-ons. One of the things that stood out to me was how vibrant the drinks look when they are served. The colors and presentation immediately catch your attention.
The fruit drinks feel especially refreshing, which makes them perfect for the warm Kapolei weather. Many of the drinks have a balanced sweetness that allows the tea or fruit flavors to come through rather than being overly sugary.
Another highlight is the texture from the toppings. The tapioca pearls have the chewy consistency that people expect from a good bubble tea, and they pair well with both milk tea and fruit-based drinks.
The shop itself has a clean and modern layout with a straightforward ordering counter. Most people grab their drinks to go, but the service moves quickly and the staff are friendly.
Overall, S7 Icy Bubble is a solid stop in Kapolei if you are looking for colorful, refreshing bubble tea drinks that are easy to grab while running errands or exploring the area”
“Favorite place to go on island for drinks. Always keeping it classy 🍻 Great prices and great selection of games to play too.”
“Quality food! Both for dining-in and for take-out. Everybody in the family can find something they love on their menu. You can tell this is a family run business and the workers are like a family. “This was a recommendation from our hotel and we came back two more times. It is a pleasant quiet neighborhood. We ate inside twice and outside once which I we preferred. My wife enjoyed the “Westside Burger” which she enjoyed. On other nights she had the excellent fish and chips and a very good pasta dish. I had some rather disappointing fish tacos but the next two nights I really enjoyed the “Bouillabaisse “! Our servers were excellent. The only disappointment was our passing up the great Bakery items on display.”
“Takeout only. Get your freshly made bento here. The price is great and it's delicious!
I got the spam musubi and the ume onigiri along with their poke bowl.
Great spot to just grab lunch for later that day.
They do have military and senior discounts on the weekends.
Overall a great spot to grab the lunch to go.”
“First time here for this local resident! I've driven past this intersection for decades and have no idea when this business popped up. Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.”
“This was my first time visiting this place. We came on a sunday midday but I had seen lots of posts about it so I was excited. The displays were pretty empty which was disappointing. I got a slice of cake, a chocolate bun and two drinks. I wanted to try the strawberry milk tea with boba but they weren't able to do a dairy free option since its pre-made in a box. Everything tasted delicious otherwise. Hopefully they will have more options the next time we go.”
“Hidden golden spot in Campbell industrial area in front of H-Power. This female owned and family operated food truck has been providing tasty food to the community for years. You can expect affordable food and plates packed of a wide variety from their delicious menu. I have been coming here since I was kid, and I hope it stays open long enough to bring my own children. Just bought a plate lunch, a drink, and some Filipino desert for $15.”
“Best food truck I’ve ever eaten from! I’m a western New Yorker, we cook and/or put hot sauce on everything. Not fully understanding all of the menu options, the owner, was so friendly, offered information about the types of fresh food he had and even offered us samples of the Ahi poke. Once a nay sayin skeptic, I’m now a true believer in raw fish as an amazing meal. I can’t say enough about how tasty this food was. We also had the Shrimp Tempura, Ahi Katsu and Limo Oi’o. All were absolutely some of the best food we had in over a week in Hawaii.”

“In the stress of moving off island and living in a hotel room with my two animals this restaurant is the highlight of my day. Everyone is extremely friendly, the drinks are amazing, and the food is delicious. Thank you for being my haven!”
“Shrimp francese and veal marsala with rigatoni and sauteed zuchinni were delicious. Aloha, our server, was great as was her busboy who neatly packaged our leftovers.”

“We ate here and also ordered delivery while staying at the resort so sampled several dishes and drinks. The poke bowl and poke nachos were both great and good portions. I also liked the chicken katsu. When we dined in, the service was friendly and efficient. They gave us a good table to view the sunset (most of the tables have a good view).”

“We had just ate at Teriyaki Madness in Newark NJ about 2 weeks ago, so when we saw it here on our vacation we decided to stop. Food was amazing, service was awesome. We got chicken potstickers, crab rangoon and teriyaki bowls. I’m very picky about my teriyaki and this was fantastic! Highly recommend!”

“Akin was the best person and server we’ve ever witnessed anywhere we’ve been too! He was observant of our needs (literally came with boxes and everything like magic without even asking knew exactly how much and of what we needed. Our glasses never hit the bottom. Food came out perfectly. Really attentive to our needs without us having to say a word.), he’s super friendly, he’s careful and caring, and the best part of everything was how entertaining and funny he was from the moment we sat down literally endless needed laughs! My fur baby of 15 years passed 2 days ago and this was my first time outside since she got sick.. he literally made my day and I will always come back as long as I sit in his section! Don’t lose people like this, he deserves the world and a raise!❤️ thank you akinnn!”

“Perfectly pleasant pool bar that is an oasis in the madness of the rest of the resort. Delicious nachos that reminded me of Yak and Yeti in WDW but much fresher fish. Try the blended coconut mojito - unique and very refreshing. Honestly, very competitive pricing compared to options in Ko Olina in general.”
