“First time ordering online at this Subway, went rather smoothly. Located inside the NEX mini mart by the bowling alley on Pearl Harbor. Transaction went smoother than the last time I ordered online from a Subway in Aiea (had to wait 15 minutes for the order since they were shorthanded 😥)

Ordered two BMT Footlongs online using the bogo code and with a pickup time of 1030am and when I arrived it was waiting for me at the counter🤙

Lady was a bit confused when i told them online pick up with my name but showed them a screenshot of the order paid in full and she packaged it up. 4 stars👍”

“While on the beach after watching the sunset we decided on a snack before heading back to our hotel. Right behind the Army Museum on the beach were a series of fast food type establishments. We chose the Subway. They were beginning to clean up to close for the night but stopped everything and prepared a delicious sandwich for my wife and I to enjoy. The young ladies on duty were polite, professional and very happy to serve us. Subway has two great employees.”

“My wife and I celebrated our 3-year anniversary here. It couldn't have been a better spot to choose. Small, intimate fine dining area. Service went above and beyond, the food is the best on the island. I definitely would recommend ordering several of the Mushroom Tartlets and Ahi Cigars.”

“I am a Miami to Alaska transplant and seek out great Cuban food and cafe’ whenever I travel. Castro’s is the real deal!! The Cuban Cafe’ is spot on and the French Toast with the Rum Sauce is off the charts!! Enough food to feed two! The owner is friendly & engaging as is the staff. Stop in, grab a Cafe’ and chill on the sidewalk seating while your breakfast is created..I say created because it is a true work of art…at least in my professional opinion.”

“4.7/5 — nearly perfect. Sushi Sho was one of the best and most focused sushi experiences I’ve had. The meal is prepaid through Tock, with gratuity included, so once you sit down the experience is entirely about the omakase.

Don’t expect caviar, truffles, or unnecessary luxury ingredients added to justify the price. Sushi Sho is about technique, precision, and thoughtful combinations of both local Hawaiian and Japanese ingredients. The rice, temperature, seasoning, texture, and progression of each piece were incredibly deliberate. It feels like a pure sushi experience rather than a luxury tasting menu disguised as omakase.

Keiji Nakazawa wasn’t behind the counter during our visit, but that didn’t detract from the experience. The sushi masters were extremely attentive and detail-oriented, with warm, personal service throughout.

We spent about $490 per person all-in, including sake, beer, and one additional piece. Expensive, absolutely, but the value is in the craftsmanship and execution rather than flashy ingredients. 4.7/5 and about as close to perfect as a sushi experience gets for me.”

“We RAN to Waffle and Berry after the zoo. We showed up 15 minutes before closed and they were quick to calm us. As long as we ordered by 2 minutes before close, we would be served. And then they showed up with a snack plate for our toddler. He absolutely loved it!! We absolutely loved our dessert. Crispy, warm waffle. Sweet ice cream and berries. Unbelievably welcoming environment.”

“Great to have a new restaurant in the "Gold Coast" area. Lovely spaced tables & warm, calming ambience. Uniquely selected yet simple menu with island flavors. The Tomato Salad was a surprise w/ its "ling hing mui" vinaigrette. Hamachi & Ahi sashimi dishes were prepared in a different fun presentation. Wasn't much a fan of the Venison Tartare, & the fried chicken was great! Nice wine selection and I hope to be back soon with more of a organized strategy for wine pairing. *Desert-wise the mochi is great & the Panna Cotta alone will make me return.”

“I was visiting Honolulu from Wisconsin, and this food truck ended up being one of the best surprises of the whole trip. I’ll be honest the walk to it looks a little sketchy at first since you head down this small alley, but don’t let that fool you. Once you get back there, it’s a whole different story. The customer service was awesome super friendly, super welcoming. And the food? Straight-up 10/10. The loaded barbecue fries were insane, packed with flavor and totally worth every bite. The burgers were just as amazing, juicy and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was out of this world. If you’re in Honolulu, don’t sleep on this place. I’d come back in a heartbeat.”

“People seem to come here for matcha but their EARL GREY GELATO is the best EVER. I have tried so many earl grey desserts. This is one of the best. I tried earl grey, hojicha, lilikoi, matcha, black sesame and ube. They are all amazing. Loved the rich flavors.

FYI, there is a sitting area if you want to eat inside the building :)”
