“First time ordering online at this Subway, went rather smoothly. Located inside the NEX mini mart by the bowling alley on Pearl Harbor. Transaction went smoother than the last time I ordered online from a Subway in Aiea (had to wait 15 minutes for the order since they were shorthanded 😥)

Ordered two BMT Footlongs online using the bogo code and with a pickup time of 1030am and when I arrived it was waiting for me at the counter🤙

Lady was a bit confused when i told them online pick up with my name but showed them a screenshot of the order paid in full and she packaged it up. 4 stars👍”

“I tried to call but no one picked up, anywho, someone needs to tell this kid that he is doing a great job! Really polite and spoke clearly with good volume so he could be heard.”

“I am a Miami to Alaska transplant and seek out great Cuban food and cafe’ whenever I travel. Castro’s is the real deal!! The Cuban Cafe’ is spot on and the French Toast with the Rum Sauce is off the charts!! Enough food to feed two! The owner is friendly & engaging as is the staff. Stop in, grab a Cafe’ and chill on the sidewalk seating while your breakfast is created..I say created because it is a true work of art…at least in my professional opinion.”

“Very friendly staff. The Mai Tai has almost a unique creaminess to ot that I've never had before. It's well worth trying along with other drinks there. All were unique and tasted great. Worth the visit even as a walk in.”

“A wonderful experience at Maze in Honolulu, largely thanks to the exceptionally warm service, strong flavor and sauce work, and consistently good dishes from beginning to dessert.

What sticks in our mind were the oyster (meaty oyster that didn't feel powdery as some larger ones do, balanced but not overwhlemed by the sauce on top), the basil jook that came with the scallop dish (so well developed), the Washugyu and daikon broth that came with the main.

Also want to compliment the pacing of the meal as we never felt like we were waiting for a long time for any of the dishes. Pretty much perfectly well paced for preferences.

Overall, adding in everything into the experience would not hesitate to come back here again.”

“I made the conditional 25 dollar cancellation fee—reservation on open table days ago, and I recommend to make one ahead to reserve a table.
Parking is next door in the building, directly map the location to marin towel manciple parking is better option for you. Then walk down to the restaurant.
The two non-alcoholic drinks I have ordered the cucumber sour and house drink of the day, I highly recommend.
Corn one is way too cheesy and strong truffle flavor.
The beef is highly recommend.
Scallop has a great taste, cooked perfectly in texture but has a strong seafood flavor.
The food takes a long time to cook and wait, plan for at least two hours. Come by earlier before the appointment time is recommended, at least 15.
Two people, we spent 255D, top included.
Service is nice and professional.
Dessert menu came after the course has done, and variable selection of wine.
Chocolate is okay.
Strawberry cake is highly recommended.”

“I was visiting Honolulu from Wisconsin, and this food truck ended up being one of the best surprises of the whole trip. I’ll be honest the walk to it looks a little sketchy at first since you head down this small alley, but don’t let that fool you. Once you get back there, it’s a whole different story. The customer service was awesome super friendly, super welcoming. And the food? Straight-up 10/10. The loaded barbecue fries were insane, packed with flavor and totally worth every bite. The burgers were just as amazing, juicy and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was out of this world. If you’re in Honolulu, don’t sleep on this place. I’d come back in a heartbeat.”

The amount of meat that you get is so good. She was even mindful of my pregnancy, and though I forgot to tell her go for fully cooked she came out and asked me how I would like the Patty to be cooked.”

“We RAN to Waffle and Berry after the zoo. We showed up 15 minutes before closed and they were quick to calm us. As long as we ordered by 2 minutes before close, we would be served. And then they showed up with a snack plate for our toddler. He absolutely loved it!! We absolutely loved our dessert. Crispy, warm waffle. Sweet ice cream and berries. Unbelievably welcoming environment.”

“Good not great, matcha is pretty solid quality but the hojicha is just okay. It feels like more of an afterthought as it’s the less popular of the two. I do think the desserts are something I’d like to come back for though. I hope they source a better hojicha powder in the future for their lattes. Plenty of seating as well.”

“A gem at on Diamond Head side of Waikiki. We sat the bar and enjoyed a fun selection of drinks and plates to share. All of dishes looked and tasted great and had twists that made the stand out from other menus - bbq fries with sour cream and chive dip had of the flavors and more of a baked potato. The bartender was knowledgeable and a pleasure to chat with. Would go back again, immediately.”

The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service.
