Food and service were great
Natasha was an awesome server. The power went out in the kitchen and she didn’t miss a beat. We were there for 2.25 hours and it was great. We were kept abreast of the power issues and our beers and drinks were kept full! When the food came out, it was phenomenal. All 9 of us were very happy with our meals.
My husband and I were staying next door at the Four Seasons, but we’re huge Disney fans, so we knew we had to eat here while we were on Oahu. We walked over from our hotel, meandered through the pool area, and explored the lobby. The restaurant is just off the lobby.
We sat outside and had a beautiful Hawaiian evening. My husband got the catch of the day - a tuna - and I got the NY strip steak. For my starter I had the burrata. Everything was cooked to perfection...read full review

Makahiki is a beautiful restaurant located adjacent to the Disney pool, offering a unique dining experience. The menu is fixed, but guests can make special requests. The restaurant serves delicious and beautifully plated dishes. The service is exceptional, with staff making guests feel like family, and they are super accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is decorated with beautiful wall art, and the restaurant is kid-friendly, with a special character breakfast experience featuring Disney characters, which is a must splurge. Parking is validated for up to 2.5 hours. The food is absolutely delicious and hits just right. Guests can enjoy the Loco Moco paired with timeless Mickey waffles, a perfect way to start the day. The Loco Moco is rich, a true taste of the local cuisine. The Mickey waffles bring back a wave of nostalgia. The service was top-notch, attentive, and friendly. Some guests report long waits for food, which arrived cold, making it expensive and not worth revisiting. The malasadas were the best part of the character breakfast.
