“I have to say that this is one of my favorite places on the west side of Oahu for Pho, Tofu Pad Thai, Lemon grass tofu sandwich and Shrimp Papaya salad. The food, price, and service are all great. Everything is tasty, affordably priced, and quick friendly service. Menu is decent sized with a variety of dishes with the usual classic Vietnamese dishes and boba drinks. I normally go for the Shrimp Papaya Salad. It's a healthy and fresh menu item. Other tables around me seem to be ordering Pho. Pho appears large and generously filled with lots of veggies and meats. By the size of them, you will not leave hungry. Parking is convenient and free as it's located in the Foodland Shopping center. The restaurant is quiet and small to where you can have a conversation. Definitely will be back and recommend this place.“
“Service was quick. I went in an hour before closing time, but what I didn't know was that they were closing 1 hour earlier because they were short-staffed. Initially he wasn't going to take my order, but after confirming with the kitchen staff he did. I ordered the spicy pork and meat Jun mixed plate and my food was ready within 10 minutes! With that quick service, I was surprised that the food came out delicious. Best spicy pork I have eaten in my life! Pork was still juicy and lots of spices. The pork was definitely marinated in the spices prior to cooking versus some places where they cook the pork and then add the spices after. The meat Jun was juicy and tasty as well. Beef and egg was cooked perfectly, not dried out or hard!Definitely going back to try another dish!“
“My friend suggested I try this food truck/tent at Kapolei's night market and I was glad she did. The food was amazingly delicious that we ordered a second plate and the price is pretty reasonable. The chicken isaw taste like the ones in the Philippines so that was very much worth it. And the customer service is super great!!!! Definitely will go back again. ( I should've taken a picture of the food to justify the deliciousness of it)“
“Kind of in the middle of no where but very deserving of the 5 star rating. No ambiance here, order from the truck, eat in your car. Husband had the ribeye and I had a chicken wrap. Wrap was amazing with slaw and delicious sauce. Dare I say best meal in Hawaii yet!“
“10/10, would recommend - came with a party of 6 during rush, they got us in in around 30 minutes.Food is great - make sure you know how to cook it! Recommendation for first time KBBQ-ers is to cook things one dish at a time in the middle, as that’s where most of the heat is.Wait staff are amazing. Genuinely don’t think this place would be as good as it is without the amazing people here. Our server was amazing, made sure our glasses were full, grill was clean, and food stocked up. Be nice to them or I’ll drop kick you off the coast“
“I ordered the Garlic Chicken and Mandoo, so so delicious!! The garlic chicken was so yummy, some of the best I've ever tasted, the sauce was so good! The sides are delicious as well, specifically the beansprouts and long rice, very flavorful and balances out the plate well. Service was great and workers were very polite, definitely worth the visit! :)“
“With so many different L&L's on the island this one is my favorite, the lady working is always friendly and welcoming and the food is good! My favorites are the garlic Ahi and the fired fish. The lady working is so nice and always remembers my order, "2 pieces garlic Ahi" haha so if you are thinking about trying it I highly recommend this location! Good job L&L“
“We have eaten here a couple times. It's become our first night dinner place since we start our Oahu vacations in Kapolei. It's okay. We miss how special I expect Gyu Kaku to be. Something special is what we hope for but we find this location to just be okay. All the items are good, it's just that the service could be elevated.“
“Like many other L&Ls the restaurant does look a little out of shape and run down but don’t let that fool you from coming. You will get fast service and very reasonably priced yummy food that’s packed full of flavor and handled by nice staff. It’s great to visit family in Hawaii once a year and go back to your favorites. And this place totally delivers in quality and flavor.Parking: Be patient and you will have a parking spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Level door and plenty of space for a wheel chair.“
“Tried today for the first time using the coupon that comes out in the midweek paper each week for buy one get one free plate lunch. Had the LocoMoco and the Garlic chicken plates for the price of ONE! Will be making this a weekly stop strongly recommend if you hungry and in a budget.“
“I’ve been around the world eating great Korean food but there is nothing like Gina’s. From the moment you walk in you can tell everyone from the young gentleman working the cash register to the cook in the back or the owner the circles around you can tell each person is happy you stopped and ate at Gina’s, you can also taste it in their cooking. They make each meal like it’s in its own league, no mass cooking and heating older food I always have hot fresh cooked food when I come here and it’s amazing. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone that loves Korean or island food. You won’t be disappointed. Stop by here at least once a week and will continue to do so due to the great quality and customer service!Kid-friendliness: Amazing with kids!!!“
