“This place exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was great but not overcrowded for a Friday night dinner.Fried pickles: Spears came out hot and delicious. Only complaint, was the price (roughly $11 for 6 spears)The kids mac & cheese I would eat, it was a generous portion and it was really good (fully expected generic store bought)My wife had the brisket which was fantastic and I got the shrimp & grits which was equally as delicious. We will definitely be coming backKid-friendliness: We came with 3 kids (ages 3 months -6), for a restaurant with a bar as soon as you walk in it was pretty mild. We walked in first to check it out before unloading the car. Standard kids menu and crayons“
“Ok. Found this place in a Yelp search under "Korean Restaurants" and I got to say, it's not a Korean restaurant. It's a local plate lunch place. A good one at that. Even though I live nearby, I haven't tried this place before. I had the mix plate (forgot to take a picture). This is definitely a place to come back to. Things to know. It's take out only. Parking is limited but there's nearby parking and even the small parking lot in front has a quick turnover.“
“Aloha,Nice walk in the garden for us Kupuna. Some exercise/navigating the course is a plus. My first ever hole in one yesterday. Yippee!!Keep up the good works! FYI, Maybe a wishing well to throw coins into instead of the Koi pond would be great. Save the fish/Koi! Mahalo!“
“OMG has always had the best salmon salad on the island except for this morning. We have always purchased the salad in the evening. It is very crispy and beautifully presented like the photo. The salad this morning was not healthy nor edible. It was unevenly salted, with some very salty pieces and the salmon was chopped, or shredded into soggy oily pieces. The salad seemed to be covered with the fried oil. Considering the salmon salad is one of the more pricy items on the menu, there should be consistency on the dish.“
“Been meaning to try Guava Smoked. The restaurant itself is small. Drive-inn vibes with a few tables in the small space at Downtown Pearlridge. The person at the counter seemed like they were the owner and were very friendly. Ordered a mix plate with boneless chicken thighs and pork with mac salad and smoked fried rice. Also ordered the smoked salmon belly bowl. Prices were very reasonable. Our order came out quickly, and served to our table. The meat was very tender and tasty. Great smoke flavor but not overpowering. The fried rice was really really good, and the amount of meat chunks included in the rice was almost a 3rd choice. Smoked salmon belly was also really good. Mac salad was ok on its own but worked well mixed in with bites of meat/rice. Would definitely come back here. I've been missing out. My only wish is they had actual bbq sauce too instead of sambal and chili water.“
“I've been coming here for years, it's been a little tradition for me and my mom to drop in for some food any time she comes back to visit O'ahu. I haven't been back here for years but I came back tonight to grab some food and the owners and their daughter (i believe) were so happy to see me. The experience made me feel whole and so good inside. It's not long before these hole in the wall old school food places start disappearing. Appreciative of the smiles, awesome food, and soul I feel every time I visit Ohana sushi. I recommend trying it out if you haven't before, make it a tradition and i doubt you'll be disappointed. If you've already been here with good company im sure you understand what I'm talking about. Much love auntie and unko!“
“I've been trying to come here for months since seeing they were voted the #1 Roast Duck Shop on O'ahu. They didn't disappoint! Their roast duck was succulent, juicy, and perfectly flavored. I also got the roast pork ends and it was good but I'm going to try it again when it's nice and hot - I know it will be great. The char siu was awesome. It was moist and flavorful, not hard nor dry. Looking forward to it all again.“
“Gorgeous views, great service, and tasty food. This is owned by the same people that own the Lanai at Mamala Bay on Hickman, with an almost identical menu. We went on a day with cold rainy weather and practically had the place to ourselves but was told on nice days it's pretty busy and reservations are recommended. We'll definitely be back!“
“Located right next to down to earth across from pearlridge mall. They have their own parking in front of the of their entrance. Came in on a Sunday around 3:45pm and there was only a few other groups. Lots of sitting room with benches and umbrellas. It is on a very lush and green course. Bring bug spray as there are mosquitos. It is very pretty with all the trees and a little waterfall with koi fish. It's a cute little course especially for the smaller ones. Took us about an hour or so. They also have food and drinks. Nice little afternoon spot for the family. Prices are very fair and reasonable.“
“Many years ago we ate there and the lady was sooo rude that it was actually funny because of her age. But we never went back...maybe 25 plus years ago? Then my husband wanted Kimchee Chige and I only buy it in Kaneohe but we live in Pearl City. My daughter told me that she buys from Jin Joo so I decided to try. It was soooo delicious! Everything down to the Banchan tasted like the flavors were soaked in and not just on the outside. Ladies are so busy and hard working but took the time to explain things for me. I will definitely go again!!!“
“We ordered the shrimp curry and the orange chicken plate lunches. The food was vry gd. Both of us could not eat the whole reg plate lunch cause there was just too much food. We both had enuf for 2 more meals on ea playe lunch. / This is a place where we know the food is gd and plentiful.“
“Thank God I used the Google Maps app to search for food after visiting Pearl Harbor and found this place. First, Joe is a delete to speak with. Kind, friendly, good story teller. Double-checked to ensure we liked spicy food because the spicy sausage was indeed “en fuego”. I ordered the ribs and a sausage to try. So thankful I did. Flavor explosion and then a very nice kick. The ribs fell off the bone when I picked it up. Perfect amount of smoke, although Joe said he left them a bit too long for his own taste. Also just the right amount of BBQ sauce. Just enough that it didn’t take away from the meat flavor. Good sweetness to it. The big surprise was the coleslaw. Some of the best I’ve had. This place was well worth the price and a damned gem on O’ahu!“
