“My favorite place to eat while on Oahu hands down Yummys, comes with choice of 4 sides, white rice and main dish, I always choose 2 sides of cabbages and 2 sides of chop chae, meat Jun very soft and flavorful with shoyu dipping sauce . Can't wait to go back to Oahu.“
“Awesome experience! A hidden gem! Must go again and enjoy!Very friendly service, food was amazing, price was decent, lots of varieties on the menu that I wish I had more room for..Family owned business..They don't have chicken, tho they have wagu steak!Their recommendation was for the marinated kalbi and they were right! The kalbi needs to be fully cooked so that you can really appreciate the marinated flavor!“
“Excellent food and service!! I went there with my two boys march 5th at night. They were so helpful and amazing. Our server (wish I remembered his name) helped us cook our meat since we were a bit confused and kept checking on us the whole time. The food was seriously delicious. Ive been to Korea and I can say this was just as good as kbbq there. I had kimchi stew and it was soooo good! I also loved that it didnt have shrimp paste since I have allergies. They accommodated my son who is gluten free only also. This place is such a gem. It was our last night in Honolulu and Im soo glad our uber driver recommended it. A bit pricey but all kbbq places are. The atmosphere is also nice and I like that everyone has their own booths with separations. The area is close to a main mall and felt like a safe area.“
“Had the lunch special, chicken and Terry beef. Okay little dry. Very clean, just the extra charges for container, and sauce I don't understand, I can see if they had somkind of sauce for the chicken but nothing for the price it's an average 3!“
“This is my GO TO Korean BBQ spot on Oahu. This back alley, cinder block laden restaurant is a no frills spot that serves up some of the best meat selections. Ambiance is rustic, in a Hawaiian sense, and very casual. It can get smoky inside if the place is packed so be prepared to smell like meat and BBQ when you leave. We ordered the Jumolook and pork belly and both were great quality. I love that they provide the sesame oil dipping sauce without mention. All of the sides were very good too and of generous portions.Service is authentic and quick! Don’t expect much unless you’re proficient in Korean, but they’re a lovely staff.“
“I used to frequent this restaurant 7-8 years ago when I worked nearby, but after changing jobs, I wasn't able to visit as often, though I sometimes missed it. Recently, I heard that it had a new owner, but the former cooking chef is same, so I decided to visit again. It was just like before - the same great taste and clean atmosphere! The new owner was also very kind. The chicken wings sauce was spicy but not greasy, like it was grilled over a fire, and delicious, so the whole family enjoyed it. The pork bulgogi and generous side dishes were also great. I'll definitely be stopping by more often! Highly recommended.“
“This place you guys gotta check out!! This place has good food!! Kalbi, bbq chicken, jap chae, fried mandoo...and so much more. The mini is enough for one person but the regular can feed two people if your hungry enough. They also have great ban chan ( side dishes) like choi sum and shoyu potato and bean sprout. And even...they have bubble tea inside too... honeydew, watermelon, strawberry and more. Come check these guys out!! It's a little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for...it's a lot of food. Highly recommend these guys!!“
“Tried Seoul Food on Thursday after watching food vlogger Misty of Food Fiend...OMG the meat jun plate so massive! At 1st thought price was high for over the counter fast food BUT 3 people could share w/ medium appetites? HECK family of 4 ...2adults and 2 kids...only down side ban chan No Choice kind of boring... Kim chee, seasoned cucumbers & seasoned bean sprouts...no chapchae or shoyu potatoes I'll be back again from Ewa???Parking: Lots of parking.“
“I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVEN'T YET. I tried the Yooncy Special and the meat jun. Kalbi, bbq chicken, bbq meat and meat jun were all good. Usually I don't care for some other places bbq meat (bulgogi) but theirs is excellent. Nice and tender ... well-seasoned and no gamey taste. Meat jun was also tender and had just the right amount of egg coating. Vegetables were good as well as the Mac salad. Parking can get a bit busy so what I do is I park on the second level at the far end of the parking lot which is at the ocean or Waikiki side. Take the elevator down to the ground level and YoonCY is just to the right.“
“We found this out-of-the-way restaurant the first day we were in Honolulu. We made sure to eat our last supper there four days later when we left Hawaii. The Kalbi is absolutely delicious. The homemade mandoo is out of this world. The kimchee is crispy and tasty with just the right amount of heat.“
“Yummy!! Brings back childhood memories. It was very crowded when we got there but they were able to jam out the line fast. Seems pricey but the potions are insaneeee and lasted me a couple days. Amazing side dishes and the fish jun is so good. Btw they're still cash only so bring like $60 for two in case you're really hungry“
“I ordered the Garlic Chicken and Mandoo, so so delicious!! The garlic chicken was so yummy, some of the best I've ever tasted, the sauce was so good! The sides are delicious as well, specifically the beansprouts and long rice, very flavorful and balances out the plate well. Service was great and workers were very polite, definitely worth the visit! :)“
“10/10, would recommend - came with a party of 6 during rush, they got us in in around 30 minutes.Food is great - make sure you know how to cook it! Recommendation for first time KBBQ-ers is to cook things one dish at a time in the middle, as that’s where most of the heat is.Wait staff are amazing. Genuinely don’t think this place would be as good as it is without the amazing people here. Our server was amazing, made sure our glasses were full, grill was clean, and food stocked up. Be nice to them or I’ll drop kick you off the coast“
“A little pricey for Korean food, but the food was delicious. Had their meat Jun. super yummy! The meat was thin and easy to eat. Also had their bean sprouts and jap chae (sorry on spelling). But really good and flavorful! Definitely would come back!“
“The place is a good cute and family-run, business. It is an authentic Korean restaurant. All the ladies serve with a good smile. Friendly great food. When down here come visit the place you will not be disappointed. Warm welcoming eatery. we will be back again.“
