“Yummy Korea BBQ at Pearlridge Mall is one of my go-to spots when I’m craving something flavorful and filling. What really sets it apart is how clean and well-kept everything is—you can tell they take pride in how they run the place. The food always tastes fresh, from the perfectly grilled BBQ chicken and kalbi to the crisp, well-seasoned sides. There’s a depth of flavor in their BBQ that you just don’t get at most other food court places. It feels like real care goes into every plate. For a quick bite, it’s surprisingly satisfying and always hits the spot.“

“Every time I come to Oahu I make sure we eat here at least once. This time it was our first stop off the plane. My cousin's wife is an Oahu native and recommended this place, she nailed it! So good! The best kimchee I've had since my aunt used to make it for us when we were kids.“

“The spicy pork feet were absolutely delicious! It was honestly the best spicy pork feet I’ve had in Hawaii. The flavor was amazing, and the perfect balance of spicy and savory. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend this place! 😊“

“That Korean fried chicken has to be the some of the BEST I’ve ever had. I’m addicted to KFC, and the prepackaged rice/KFC combo has another level of flavor that I would say 75% of restaurants don’t include. The crust is sized well, crispy and well made. Lots of bonchon. Very unassuming spot, and really nice lady there too. I love spots like this.
You can flex at the airport with this take out. While everyone else pays hefty sums for French fries“

“I Love Korean BBQ Kamakana Ali’i is one of few places I’d drive all the way from town just to eat. When you get to the mall if you are craving great authentic Korean food then this place is great for you.
The store when walking in I was greeted by the workers in the front. The first time I went the workers were kind and very patient with me for it was my first time trying this place. They recommended the Kalbi and Meat Jun Combo as they said it was one of their most popular combos. The meat was very tender and flavorsome. The sides that I was able to choose from were a lot and plated very neatly on the plate. At the end of the day, if you want some great BBQ with some delicious Korean sides then this is the place to go.“

“I ordered the korean fried chicken knowing it has a 25 minute wait, so worth it. I ordered the spicy one with a side of 3 scoops of rice, I ordered the half chicken the picture is the half I didnt eat yet. For the the price you can't beat it.“

“Surprisingly good. i was in a hurry so i dropped by to get something quick, and they made my stuff fast. I’m not Korean though so i’ve got no idea if it’s authentic, but I got the bikook (?) cold noodles and it was cool, spicy, and tangy. Good portion sizes“

“Delicious food, generous portions, good service. You really should visit if you're hungry in Kaneohe.
You get rice, a protein, and four choices of ban chan (veggie sides like kimchee or cooked bean sprouts).
The ambiance is definitely "greasy spoon", but the food is really good quality, and, since its take out only, you're only there for a few minutes, the dated decor is not really an issue.“

“Very good food. We had a party of 11 people and ordered a large variety of dishes and meats. The service was quick and the food was super delicious. I would love to come back and order raw meats to cook myself at the table. Would recommend.“

“I have been going to this place since I was in middle school (mid 2000s) and for good reason, nobody does it better! Staff has recently changed a bit, but because it's still the same friendly service. My go-to is the spicy BBQ pork, but it's all good here and the sides are great too. Plenty of space to park your car or your butt, and located beautiful Mililani.“

“We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Recommended by my sister. So glad we tried it. We ordered the combo meat platter. All of the sides/banchan was fresh and tasty. Overall the food was great, very old school style with the gas cooktops. We received great service too. We will definitely return in the near future. This restaurant is very casual and unpretentious.“

“I usually go before they close at 8:30 PM because I don’t noticed that if you do go right before they close, they’ll give you a whole a lot of food lol but I love the portion that they do give their sides are amazing. I got that barbecue chicken special with the four piece Mando for $2.99 extra and in the photos I showed you all sides they also have catering. The tables are limited. You can only fit up to four people per table. It can get crowded during lunch hours. I would prefer to do takeout because even with my medium sized body have a hard time squeezing in the booth lol but overall I got a man do plate and my total was about $48 total. I’ll say it’s totally worth it. One of the best barbecue cases you can eat at. I know there’s other locations like in Alamoana and Kahala but this is my favorite one. I would also recommend phone call orders cause that would be faster. There is a lot of parking and it’s inside of the Waipahu shopping center right next to the new Hope Church.“

“I've been going here for years and love it in a pinch when my normal haunts are packed or closing aunties make it super fast and the portions are solid. The one thing I'd say I always notice is that the veggies tend to condensate and slightly pool depending on what you get especially the shoyu potato. I guess another is sometimes post Covid I noticed they kinda slow down on the rice depending on when I go. I love heaping rice so I'd definitely want more consistency between visits but none of these are enough to stop me coming back again and again. I'd definitely say it makes my honorable mention for meat jun easy.“

“Not going to lie, I wasn't expecting much, but this place was highly recommended by the people over at the Enterprise... And for good reason. The food here is amazing I tried the short ribs and came back for more. It's a Mom & Pop- hole in the wall place, so please come correct. Be patient and scan the menu at the counter or refer to the pictures on the wall... Yes one of those places... There's a language barrier and the owner gives off Dad/ GrandDad vibes if I had Korean parental units. I just put in multiple orders for my coworkers, all of us love this place. We wanted this to be the last thing we get before we go back out to sea.“

“I lived in Korea for six years. It’s hard to find that perfect beef and leaf joint you remember from your Sam gyup sal days in Korea, but this place can do it.#1. The staff is great. I enjoy seeing them every time I go.#2. They have the soju, the Korean beer, the makgeolli.#3 The BBQ is on point, the sides are delicious and the kimchi is always great. If someone doesn’t like this place, then they don’t like real Korean food. Plain and simple.“
