“Katsu curry was yummy! Wife had the garlic shrimp and she was surprised with the blend of the sauce, not too buttery and not too salty. Rice was moist and the Mac was good. We got our order in 2-3 minutes, so no wait at all. No one was sitting at the tables, but lots of locals were picking up their food. Skip the L&L next door and get this instead!“

“This is by far the best Chinese place I have ever had......in the world!!! The level of actual flavor and flakininess to the chicken and fish is absolutely incredible. I have never had fish with so much flavor amd not too much oil and no fish taste at all, which was unique. The staff was friendly and it was a peaceful environment! “Waianae may have a limited number of really good food options—like BBQ Kai, Saito & Pho, and the Thai food truck in Mākaha—but Waianae Korean BBQ is one of those hidden gems ?. Shhh, don’t tell anyone; I don’t want the line to get longer! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere has a laid-back vibe. I usually order the meat jun without rice, which lets me choose 6 sides instead of just 4. Highly recommend!“

“The portions here are HUGE! The kalbi combo is a steal and the marinade is amazing.
We ended up eating here three times during our five day trip in Ko Olina.
A mini size was perfect for me (2 kalbi ribs with rice and two sides). My husband did well with the regular (3 kalbi ribs with rice and four sides). You can also buy more side dishes.
Everything tasted super fresh and delicious.

DO NOT DO DELIVERY from here! Packaging is a mess, items like entire ribs missing from orders, drinks missing, paid for additional toppings missing. Packaging also makes the food completely soggy and water logged which ruins the flavor. I even paid for priority delivery so the food was the first delivered.

For dine-in: Long lines, a long wait sometimes, and a small place, but everyone was really nice, and the food was good! Sweet tea was a little old tasting, bread needs some flavor like salted butter or honey butter. We'll surely go again!“

“Staying at Residence Inn in kapolie. They have food truck every night. Decided to try this one.
They let me and my group try samples of the pork bellies, garlic rice and the panset. I liked the garlic rice but loved the panset.
Panset was 2 different types of noodles and the pork bellies, grilled liempo, with the sauce was amazing. Be sure to squeeze the lemons on top to add to the flavor. Would highly recommend. Hopefully I will have time to try out the Island Chicken Inasal. It sounds and smells really good.“

“Huge Portions! You could tell that this was a family run restaurant which we were really happy to support. We tried a lot of of the different menu items, including the steak and chicken combo, musubi, and orange chicken. All of their food was delicious and the portions again were humongous. We probably could’ve fed our family of four with two entrée items.“
