Found this place because it was featured in Yelp’s top 100 list. Didn’t expect much as I haven’t really had kalbi that stood out to me. This place was different and even the side dishes were really good (and I dont even like side dishes).
Kalbi is surely the best around the island. Would recommend to a friend!

Gina's Kapolei is a highly recommended Korean restaurant located on the west side of the island. Known for its flavorful and fresh dishes, the restaurant offers a variety of options such as kalbi, BBQ chicken, mandoo, meat jun, and a selection of side dishes, or banchan. The kalbi is particularly praised for its deliciousness and generous portion size. The restaurant is priced slightly higher but is worth it for the quality of food. The service is excellent, with staff offering samples of sides before ordering and being very kind and welcoming. It has its own parking lot, and street parking is also available. Although it is mostly a takeout-style place, there are dine-in options, and many customers enjoy eating in. The atmosphere is casual, making it a great option for those craving Korean BBQ, especially for quick, hearty meals. Many customers find the food to be delicious and satisfying, with some saying the portions can feed 2-3 people. The owner and staff are known to be friendly and efficient, making each visit enjoyable. Vegetarian options like cooked vegetables, daikon, seaweed, and potatoes are fresh and healthy. Overall, Gina’s Kapolei is a locally owned and operated spot that offers a tasty Korean dining experience with a friendly vibe.
