You get rice, a protein, and four choices of ban chan (veggie sides like kimchee or cooked bean sprouts).

The ambiance is definitely "greasy spoon", but the food is really good quality, and, since its take out only, you're only there for a few minutes, the dated decor is not really an issue.“

“I recently moved to Kaneohe bay after getting married 4 months ago, Yakiniku Chodang would have to be my favorite korean bbq spot by far. It's never too crowded, kept clean and always has good service. My husband and I have been served by the same lovely person a few times though she wasn't here this time. That's okay as tonight's server was a chill guy with humor. Would very much recommend this place if you're hungry and don't want to wait :)“

“Hands down the best Japanese BBQ on the island! We’ve tried many Yakiniku both in Hawaii and LA but this was by far the best quality! Not only the quality of the meat but the service was excellent. “It was my first time eating here. I always walk by and smell the food cooking. The food was excellent and the service was even better! They were so kind and the food came out fast even when I made a modification. Really nice people. I will be back!“

“Great place to eat after a day at the beach. You can sit inside or go around the side and find several tables in the large hallway. I prefer the hallway as there are a lot less people and it’s quieter. The restrooms are near the hallway as well. K and K is better than L&L.“

“Excellent experiences at BBQ town. They star of the show for us were the Teri beef burgers. Such an explosion of flavor in your mouth. Also pictured on another occasion was the short rib mini plate which as you can see is enough for at least one meal if not two. I called ahead for both our orders and picked up. I usually ask them for salt and pepper chicken with curry. They add fresh spicy peppers, jalapeños I think, and onions. Its really amazing. I wanted to change it up and asked for steamed fish with curry and just peppers and Ming was like "Sure, I can do that." I didn't want rice or Mac either and he said no problem. This is what I got! As I opened the container, I was shocked by how it beautifully it was presented.
After taking my first bite, I was amazed by how tender and moist the chicken was. Along with the amazing sauce it was coated in.

“My boyfriend (Drew) and I picked up dinner here last night and the BBQ beef sandwhich was amazing!!! We love how the spice of the sauce wasn't too spicy. The pickled daikon and carrots complimented the spice and the beef was cooked to perfection.

We were very surprised by the mung bean tapioca pudding. We were not expecting to like it. Overall, it was not too sweet and had a good flavor to compliment the BBQ Beef sandwhich.

“Was a nice change of scene. Celebrated Alex 10th Birthday per his request. Most of our family is tall, at the end of the round of golf 2 peoples back were sore from bending down a lot lol.
Also, felt pressured with people behind us being that we were a party of 6, but couples and families were nice enough to skip the hole and go ahead of us.

1 different colored ball and 1 club assigned per player.

“If you're looking for some roast pork, chicken or duck come here. It's a pick up and go place so don't expect a place to sit unless you find some outside in the plaza. If you're looking for simple, great tasting roasted meat on rice or crispy noodles this is the place. It's simple and delicious. The menu isn't extensive. Other than those roasted meats there's also ginger chicken that I particular love.

The cost of the food here is a great value as well. Each plate I got was enough to feed 2 or 3 people. I would recommend getting a mix of the meats and share. It was all good.“

“Sunset Lanai ia a great bar with an awrsomr view. They have a really nice bar area and outdoor patio that overlooks pearl harbor. The bar tender was very friendly and prompt. The wings were great, just crispy enough. The fries were really good, seasoned well, and crispy to perfection. Defineftly would go back.

“My kalby- tang was an excellent choice for me here. The first impression was a visual ribs with chunks of meat on it where is so rare to see on a restaurant in my experience. Then its soup where I black peppered over it and the taste was so great and not even salty like other places just right!. I didn’t pour the rice in it where I usually do but instead without realizing it I get to finish it until the last drop.“
