“frequently go to this place to pick up food orders. I haven't had the pleasure of eating here, but it's certainly an excellent place. The staff is amazing, always welcoming you with the greatest disposition, respect, cordiality, and kindness. There's a very young woman who wouldn't be able to scoff if someone made a mistake with their order or a drink. The lady who serves as host is undoubtedly a great employee. I hope her bosses value them highly because this place might not be as pleasant without them. Thank you for your work and effort.“

“My wife searched the Internet for a place that makes shrimp plate and found Lucky Box Ewa Beach. Place was easy to find using GPS. The food was prepared at a decent time. Our order came out to over $100 and the food quality was good. The Pork chops was a little on the dry side but the spicy shrimp and burgers with fries tasted good.“

“Elims has been apart of the Ewa beach shopping center for as long as I can remember. mom and pop shop, cardboard everywhere but still nicely intact, food counter is clean cold drinks are laid out nice and the banchan area is always filled. I thought to come here instead of pearls chain restaurant just to support local cuz id be sad to see them fold.I ordered the classic kalbi & meatjun combo. Now, the reviews may be right about the meatjun. It’s not the best, meat was kinda tough but flavor wise was ok, I’m all about having a good sauce to cover that so i ordered extra meat Jun sauce.Kalbi was freakin good. Way better than pearls because the marinate and smoky taste from the grill comes thru. It’s also not overly sauced up like some places, it just tastes like homemade kalbi cooked on a grill. You don’t need to get the meat Jun, but you gotta get the kalbi.4 sides: 2x mayo potato (always good lil sweet) noodles, and seaweed. “When I was growing up, going to school across the street at Aliamanu, they only had Pioneer Chicken at that corner of the Shopping Center. Several years later, after Pioneer Chicken was no more, I was pleased to discover this new Korean BBQ place that opened up there.“

They cooked the chicken fresh on the spot. I waited about 15 minutes which is how long chicken should take to cook. Great spot.“

“This is the perfect hidden food place that locals go to. Good food, good prices and the service is practically non existent. Meaning, it's 99% take out. There is a small table outside but that's why it's cool. No nonsense food at a good price. I highly recommend the Bento #1, the Katsu and the fried chicken.

Parking: The parking is hard to find but if you wait for a few minutes someone will leave.“

“Hanna and Ming are so awesome. The food is soooo yummy. They make special requests for me without batting their lashes. Their curry is really good and matches well with... well... everything!!! I usually ask them for salt and pepper chicken with curry. They add fresh spicy peppers, jalapeños I think, and onions. Its really amazing. I wanted to change it up and asked for steamed fish with curry and just peppers and Ming was like "Sure, I can do that." I didn't want rice or Mac either and he said no problem. This is what I got! Nice and spicy, fish is so tender and their curry sauce is always my go to. I'm serious, its pretty amazing!!“

Vegetarian options: You can order just the side dishes as a plate mix. They will let you chose 4-5 side dishes items. I love their broccoli and bean sprout side dishes. They also have plain tofu as side dish.

Parking: There's always plenty of parking. We never had a time where we would go looking for parking.“

Also, felt pressured with people behind us being that we were a party of 6, but couples and families were nice enough to skip the hole and go ahead of us.

“If you're looking for some roast pork, chicken or duck come here. It's a pick up and go place so don't expect a place to sit unless you find some outside in the plaza. If you're looking for simple, great tasting roasted meat on rice or crispy noodles this is the place. It's simple and delicious. The menu isn't extensive. Other than those roasted meats there's also ginger chicken that I particular love.

The cost of the food here is a great value as well. Each plate I got was enough to feed 2 or 3 people. I would recommend getting a mix of the meats and share. It was all good.“

“Kau Kau is serving up delicious grinds consistently. The BBQ sauce on the ribs is some of the best I've ever tasted. Mac salad is kept separately so it doesn't get warm sitting next to the ribs and rice. Prices are fair. If you have never been, I strongly suggest you try it. The whole menu on point.“

“I absolutely love their fish burger. The deep-fried, battered fish is perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. It’s topped with a rich onion tartar sauce, fresh coleslaw, and served on soft, fluffy buns that bring everything together beautifully. The flavors are outstanding and honestly hard to describe—you really have to try it to believe how good it is. On top of that, this place is also well known for its BBQ, which is just as impressive. “Sunset Lanai ia a great bar with an awrsomr view. They have a really nice bar area and outdoor patio that overlooks pearl harbor. The bar tender was very friendly and prompt. The wings were great, just crispy enough. The fries were really good, seasoned well, and crispy to perfection. Defineftly would go back.

“You can also eat in the store, but they give you food in disposable containers. After ordering, it was so large that I had no choice but to go, so it was convenient for customers. I ordered one serving of the special set and kimchi pancake, and 2 adults and a 3-year-old child ate it together. I packed the leftover rice and side dishes well and was able to eat until breakfast. When you order a dish, you can choose four side dishes, including kimchi, seasoned seaweed, stewed potatoes, japchae, seasoned bean sprouts, seasoned cabbage, etc. All four we chose were delicious and both the ribs and kimchi pancakes were excellent restaurants. It was the most cost-effective and satisfying meal during my trip to Hawaii?“

“The portions here are HUGE! The kalbi combo is a steal and the marinade is amazing.
We ended up eating here three times during our five day trip in Ko Olina.
A mini size was perfect for me (2 kalbi ribs with rice and two sides). My husband did well with the regular (3 kalbi ribs with rice and four sides). You can also buy more side dishes.
Everything tasted super fresh and delicious.

“Being from Texas, Brisket is a food group. The brisket was really good and just fell apart. The homemade sausage was good as well. Actually everything we order was great.

They were not selfish on the shaved ice! Definitely get one. Four can easily share it.

“Been coming here for a long time and when I used to work in this shopping center back in the day. This is my favorite go to place for Korean food. I'd say I come around once a month. Just like a lot of food places. The dinner hours can get pretty hectic. Especially during the weekends or holiday weekends. Other than that. Food is always good. Just be patient of you decide to go during a rush hour dinner rush. It can get pretty busy“
