The food was good and fresh. I’ll definitely be going back! The greens were a touch too vinegary for my taste, but I still enjoyed them. Found out the owners are from Detroit...my hometown, so I’ll definitely be back to support my people!!!
Loved my first experience with them. I needed catering for an event and they gave advice and real care. Their food was DELICIOUS and can't wait to try more things on the menu.
Everything from the brisket to the loaded salad was so good. Definitely got my money's worth. Might even consider using them for my next potluck dish!

I got the fish and shrimp plate with collard greens and the mac & cheese as my sides. Absolutely phenomenal. Catfish was perfectly fried, the breading light and perfectly seasoned. Huge shrimp, amazing. And the mac & cheese is incredible. My coworker said his bbq bowl (brisket, baked beans, and mac & cheese) was the best bbq he’s ever had. 10/10, strongly recommend to anyone on JBPH

Notably, the meal prices range from $10 to $20, and adding a drink can raise the total to at least $20. The restaurant is closing soon at its current location, but the new location offers the same great flavors.
