About Diamond's Kitchen 808

Diamond's Kitchen 808 is a hidden gem of a food truck located in a strip mall. The restaurant is locally owned and operated, with friendly, accommodating, and caring staff who treat you like family and create pure, sweet vibes.

The food is consistently amazing and the best on this side of the island. The must-try item is the Huli Huli Chicken, described as the best BBQ chicken Hawaiian style. It is the tastiest, juiciest, most flavorful, smoky, and tender chicken, literally falling off the bone and packed with flavor. The flame-grilled steak is also off the charts. Their amazing ribs are very tender, and the special, unique, and truly out-of-this-world crab potato salad is a perfect side. Meals like the Huli Huli Chicken & Ribs combo or the Steak & Onions with Chicken combo are fully worth the drive and wait, with great portions that are "ono kine grindz."

There is parking available and a few small outdoor dining tables under a tent, though take-out is also an option. Fair warning: you will smell like smoke afterwards.

Chicken is juicy and tasty.
Juiciest chicken ever with beautifully smokey flavor and charred crunchy bits on perfectly glazed skin! We ordered a whole chicken and every piece was incredibly juicy and flavorful. We got to meet Mark, the owner, and learned this is a 4 year old family business. Mark even offered to give us extra rice, drinks, and some garlic shrimp to try (which was also absolutely perfectly cooked, plump, juicy and not too sweet of the sauce). We want more people to come visit and enjoy their...read full review
As a Waipahu native, I’ve always known about Diamonds for years. Never gave it a chance, always thought I could try it next time. One day it was suggested as a way to change up
The plate lunch routine. The price is up there, but for the price comes a lot of good quality food. The chicken is moist, charcoal/wood fired, ribs and briskets both soft.. garlic butter fried pork is amazing. No real complaints on my end
