About Ono Korean BBQ

Ono Korean BBQ is a restaurant that serves delicious food at reasonable prices. They offer vegetarian options, with all vegetables being delicious. However, it is important to note that their cabbage kimchi is traditional and may contain shrimp or fish. The restaurant is praised for its consistent quality and wonderful atmosphere.

Ono Korean BBQ is popular for its meat jun and man doo combo, which comes with four side dishes. The portion sizes are decent, and the food is tasty. One of the reviewer's go-to places in Honolulu, the restaurant is known for quick and friendly service, even when busy.

The Ono Special, which consists of BBQ chicken, beef, and Kalbi, is highly recommended. The kalbi is flavorful with lots of meat on the bones, while the BBQ chicken is nicely marinated and grilled to perfection. The reviewer also enjoyed the classic potato salad, Korean japchae, daikon kimchee, vegetable pancake, and vegetable tempura. Their sides are all very good, making it hard to choose which ones to order.

Ono Korean BBQ offers a variety of side dishes known as banchan. The broccoli and bean sprout side dishes are particularly loved, and plain tofu is also available. While some reviewers prefer other Korean BBQ places for their side dishes, many appreciate the options here. The restaurant also has plenty of parking available.

Overall, Ono Korean BBQ is a great place to enjoy local-style food. It is perfect for those craving a quick bite in the area or looking for takeout.

Love this place, delicious, fresh and great service
Great food. Not cheap, but worth it. Plenty of parking, though with construction on Dillingham Blvd, best to enter parking from Kaumaualii St.
