Ordered the Chicken Katsu. Dry and hard like they cooked it 3 days in a row. Staying with L&L. 2nd star because their extra choices were ok.

Came here several times, and i got the same thing again and again, I always get the meat Jun and man doo combo here comes with 4 choices of side dish too. For the price, they give a decent amount of food, and it taste good too ,one of my favorite Korean BBQ for takeout. I will have to try some of their other items besides the one I always order.

Gave them over $2 tip and asked for extra hot sauce. They try charging me 25 cents. Never tipping again.

I don't know what happened, I've ordered from this spot multiple times and has always provided a good amount of food. Today I ordered my usual yook gae jang with no rice. They always give me 2x veggies since I don't get rice. Well today, they gave a small amount and said it was 2x veggies. My yook gae jang had no flavor in it at all. I had to steal Gochujang from my coworker and that didn't even help it. Sooo disappointed...Taking this spot off my regular list.

My fiancé and I actually stumbled upon Ono and I'm so glad we did. FWIW, I used to grow up on Yummy's Korean BBQ, so I was super familiar with the concept. But given that my fiancé has not experienced a fast food Korean local joint, I was excited to share this with him, and try this place for myself :) The place is located in a normal strip mall on Dillingham, and surrounded by other businesses and food joints. When you walk in, you'll noticed a bunch of table seating, a giant menu posted on the back wall, the ordering station right in front and a glass case full of sides/banchan. The prices vary depending on what you order, and the sizes of dishes. For our meals, we got the following: - The Kalbi/BBQ Chicken combo (#11) regular size for $20.45. BRRRUUUHHHHHH. This was so good! The bbq chicken was nicely marinated and grilled to perfection. They used a butterflied thigh so was juicy and not dry at all. The kalbi has to have been some of the best I've had. So flavorful and lots of meat on the bones. The only gripe I have about this was the portion of kalbi; I felt like they skipped out on portion just a bit- The Chicken Katsu plate (#7) regular size for $14.75. My fiancé said is was one of the best chicken Katsu he's had. Coming from someone who eats katsu every week, I need to try it. It was super crispy and seasoned nicely. REALLY REALLY GOOD.- For our sides, each regular plate comes with 4 choices: we got a combination of macaroni salad, bean sprouts, shoyu potatoes, and jap chae (glass noodles). These were good banchan; I personally think this is where I prefer Yummy's a bit more. The Mac salad was good but just a little tangy for my preference. The shoyu potatoes could have been marinated more so the flavor was darker and richer. For the japchae and bean sprouts, they were standard and good!Overall, great place to come and have some really good local style food. If you're looking for a quick bite and in the area, come check them out!

I tried this place when I first moved to Hawai'i and it was awesome! Large portions and I thought "Oh next time, I'll share with my family instead of each getting our own individual plate" fast forward to today. We decided to do a Postmates order for this place last night, my husband and I both worked and came home late and we both didn't feel like cooking. We got our delivery, shared our meals with our two small children and now we all have food poisoning! My poor baby have been having blow outs up the back and my eldest have been using the toilet since 4am and I'm no help them because I too am stuck going back and forth to the toilet. I don't know what happen, maybe it was because it was towards closing that the food wasn't handled properly because we had no issues the first time around ordering around 1pm. Now this time we ordered around 6/7pm. Now I'm forced to miss work and miss getting paid and my children have to miss school, thanks a lot. I'm sorry, but once I get food poisoning at a place... I no longer trust it. Thank you for the great first experience, sucked that my husband's first experience was horrible. We won't be ordering from here again

This is our go to restaurant for Korean BBQ. We usually get the combination plate of chicken and fish jun. Love the vegetables and recently picked up just a plate of vegetables for a gathering of family.
