“If you're looking for an authentic taste of Japan with exceptional quality, Tempura KiKi is the place to go. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance exudes a traditional Japanese charm, perfectly setting the stage for a delightful dining experience.
The tempura at Tempura KiKi is, without a doubt, some of the best I've ever had. Each piece, whether it was the shrimp, seasonal vegetables, or fish, was lightly battered and fried to golden perfection. The crispiness was spot-on, and you could tell that the ingredients were of the highest quality – fresh, delicate, and absolutely flavorful. What truly sets Tempura KiKi apart is their attention to detail. The tempura wasn’t greasy at all, and every bite melted in my mouth, retaining the pure flavor of each ingredient.
Beyond the food, the service was fantastic. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. They were quick to explain the menu, making sure I had everything I needed without being overbearing. It made me feel welcome and appreciated as a guest.
If you’re a fan of tempura or just want a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine, Tempura KiKi should be at the top of your list. It’s a gem of a restaurant with an unbeatable combination of amazing food and stellar service. I can’t wait to return!”
“We went to a luau years ago at one of the big resorts with hundreds of other people. We were far away from the action, and it was a very impersonal experience. At Nutridge the luau was up close and personal, with attention to us individually as guests. There were probably only 50 or 60 people attending. We were never far from the performers, who were great. The food was delicious. They even called us back for seconds if we wanted. The luau is high up on the mountain outside Honolulu, with stunning views and a beautiful location. What's not to like?”
“These guys take creative to a whole new level! Well done!”
“Incredible sushi!! I ordered a second Sashimi Deluxe for two for mystic was ssoooo good!!”

“The food, wine, service, and atmosphere are amazing. I dine here every 2 months and I am always very impressed. Thank you for your continued excellence!”
“From the warm greeting everyone receives when walking through the door to the attentive and super friendly service, this place is amazing! The sushi was outstanding… hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The texture, taste and presentation was top notch. Wish there was a location on the east coast!”
“I liked that the owner and staff were very friendly. The kimchi udon was really delicious... The salad was also delicious, and a great dressing restaurant?? They also recommended a menu and when I was disappointed that the menu had disappeared, they said there were ingredients left and gave it to me as a service. I was impressed... The roll came out as requested, so I ate it up without leaving any food behind. . We finished the meal neatly by providing dessert ice cream as a service. I come to Hawaii often enough to go every year, and I will visit again next year! I am proud that many foreigners came to visit. May you prosper :)”

“Sunny’s was an awesome find for breakfast. The servers are so nice and the food was awesome. I had the avocado toast - so good. Lots of variety and healthy meals. I would highly recommend this spot.”
“The pizza at Floralia was amazing! The Pesto Royale pizza was absolutely the best—bursting with flavor and perfectly crafted. The Margherita pizza, while good, didn’t quite hit the mark for us as we weren’t fans of the mozzarella cheese used. Overall, a great spot for pizza lovers!”
“I love their vegetarian stir fry! I have to limit my sodium intake, and this dish gives me the flavor I need without a lot of salt.”
“Bar Maze would be a very high 1* or potentially a 2* Michelin level restaurant if Michelin came to Honolulu. Very good food and cocktails. There were five courses but the portions were larger than restaurants that have 8+ courses. Highly recommend the wagyu upgrade with the bar maze rice. The cocktails were very innovative and would be great if they came from a top cocktail bar. I was very surprised at how good the cocktails were and how well they paired with the food, especially compared to a 2* star Michelin restaurant like CODA in Berlin. The cocktails here were simply far better and more creative. The service is nice and friendly. Not very formal. If you want a very good tasting menu with exceptional cocktails, then you should come here. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.”
“The food here is absolutely incredible and when I mean, incredible, I mean incredible. Every single bite was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place. The most wonderful part about my experience is the care to make sure my meal was prepared without onion or garlic as I’m allergic to it and the chef was beyond Understanding and willing to create a meal for me I eat. Everyone in our group was extremely happy definitely recommend making a reservation as they are very busy. We sat at the bar and had excellent service.”
“The best High Tea we've had, including The Fairmont in a few key cities. Excellent!!”

“The matcha latte at this shop is very delicious. It's the right matcha, rich and fragrant. The ice cream and soft serve are also very good. Very delicious as well”
“Food is so delicious and staff extremely helpful and attentive”
“Yall aren’t ready for grindz this onolicious! You think you are? You think, because you don’t completely lose your composure over double spam musubi, that you can keep a straight face when chowing the likes of the Pit Stop’s kahlua pork tacos?!?! Pfft, maybe if this were amateur hour! Don’t be lolo! The Pit Stop is the real deal! The whole menu will break your mouth!! Nah, you’re not ready but do yourself a favor and go anyway. You won’t regret it!”
“These guys take creative to a whole new level! Well done!”
“A hole-in-the-wall place with a ~really~ good burger and fries. Probably the best on Waikiki, or at least the best I've found so far. Generous portion sizes, too. The only knock I can give is it's not "fast" food, like you might expect for a hole-in-the-wall place: Burger was (perfectly) made to order, so it took around the same amount of time to make as it would in a sit-down restaurant, but other than that, it was great. If you're looking for a burger you can grab and take to the beach, this is the place to get it.
Parking: Only parking is what you can find in the garages on Waikiki.”
“This was one of the best Customer service experiences I have had since living in Hawaii. Today was my 30th birthday and they made me feel so special. The food was amazing and they put a candle on my waffles. Even when we were leaving one of the employees or owners came out after my friend and I and said happy birthday again. I cannot express how wonderful this place was! The food was amazing and my friend and I will be returning! Newest favorite brunch place! Thank you waffle and berry!”

“This is our go-to spot for a special evening out--family in town, anniversaries, friends getting engaged, you name it! I've been privileged enough to have visited maybe once per year for the past few years and the drinks are always the best I've ever had. Each ingredient is chosen with care and consideration, and the bartenders share that with you so you rally get the most out of it, from taste and aroma, to story and beauty.
If it were just the drinks I was rating, I'd still leave 5 stars, but what REALLY sets this place apart is the staff. They are the best in the business, every time. They are knowledgeable, passionate, and really want to make sure you have an excellent experience that compliments the quality of the drinks.
I want to call out my last visit, where I was extremely lucky to get a reservation last minute, thanks to Justin who was able to make something work. I know they're very popular and reservations are hard to get (and for good reason!), so Justin being able to make this work somehow really shows how much they care about their guests.”
“We LOVEEEEE Egghead Cafe!!! Every time we come in they are so friendly, welcoming of my little ones, and quick! I've never had anything bad. Their coffee is delicious, my favorite is Tiramisu Latte! Definitely visit, it will be worth it!”
“The most delicious place to grab a smoothie in Waikiki. Always friendly staff working there and really great service! Especially Yu! I tell all my friends:))”
“Food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is so kind and attentive! Katsu-san creates the most beautiful sashimi platters and omakase sushi!”
“My favorite meal during my trip was at Southern Love, and I do not say that lightly. The food is clearly made with Love, as the title implies. It might seem off beat to get Southern food in Hawaii, but you would be remiss to not eat at least one meal at Southern Love. The authentic southern cooking (again, done with love) does take time, so prepare for a little (but not unreasonable) wait for your delicious meal! While you wait for the food (that will blow your socks off!) you can enjoy the ambiance of an at home experience that matches perfectly with the best local dining in the South.
We were lucky enough to have the special chicken sandwich, coated in fried honey crust with perfect tints of spice, with friggin' Mac 'N Cheese on top!! This sandwich slayed!! I saw it, thought no way I could finish it...and then couldn't stop myself from leaving the plate spotless!
In short, thank you Southern Love for an amazing meal and experience! All of the stars for the perfect Southern Love mix with lovin' Hawaiian feels!!”
“The food was very good, wife love the ice cream on her French toast.”

“Totally agree with Rohan Kuper’s description of the show. We’ve been to many luau buffets before and have intolerance to dairy, so we didn’t try the buffet just before the show. We saved some money by ordering discounted tickets directly through RockaHula’s website. The location is a short walk from the nearest bus stop. Maybe will try the convenient buffet when we return with friends next spring.”

“We had a great experience here. Atmosphere feels more like a mainland Chicago or New York eatery than the traditional local place which we welcomed for a change. Amazing food and very nice service (shout out to Jenya (? might be wrong spelling). Didn’t feel rushed at all which I loved. We will definitely be back.”
“The sushi was excellent. Great taste and unique flavors for some of the dishes. Chef Aung is very friendly. Great atmosphere. Love the music. BYOB so make to bring your sake, beer, and whiskey. Definitely worth trying. I will go back at the end of October when the seasonal menu changes. There is limited parking behind the restaurant or you can park across the street in the lot next to Side Street Inn.”
“We loved both the food and the wine and the service. The place is gorgeous too. We had a wonderful time.”

“very hip bar tucked away in one of the many hotels along waikiki. loved the vibe and how small/intimate it was. bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, and the drinks were unique (and the glasses they were served in were too!)”
“High quality sushi you can order by pieces, price point is on the higher end but food quality well justified it. All pieces we ordered didn’t have tendon parts you can’t chew, they were very fresh, decent sized. Their wasabi’s freshly grounded version. Would definitely come back again!
The decor looked a bit cheap tho and the lighting of the restaurant didn’t offer any ambiance, didn’t create a feeling that we’d like to stay for a long time and enjoy our food, but rather, let’s eat then leave. Efficiency seems to run in all aspects of the restaurant. You order food on a iPad and pieces delivered directly from kitchen via a conveyor belt.”

“so good!!!!! best lobster roll strongly recommended first time trying and i really like it”
“I had the unexpected pleasure of enjoying drinks and snacks at Obake. We were early for reservations at Skull and Crown. The hostess recommended Obake, which is their sister bar and restaurant, just around the corner. We were seated at the counter across from chef Christian and watched him craft all the handrolls served during our visit. First, the drinks: we had the Momiji, the Will o' the Whisp, the Fallen Angel, and the Feels like Summer. This isn't your everyday bar. The cocktails took some time to craft, but they did not disappoint . The Momiji was their nod to fall, while the Feels like Summer, well, you get it. While each drink was light and enjoyable, my favorite was the FLS. A nod to the Old Fashioned, but light and bright.
The house pickles and Yukari Fries were perfect sharing plates. We also tried the Hamachi, Summer Toro, Ho Hayn, and Bangsilog rolls. The Summer Toro had strawberries in it that paired beautifully with the spicy Toro. The Ho Hayn was served with a small dish of Hawaiian chili pepper water, either dipped in the water or followed by a chaser sip of the water. The Ho Hayn left me wanting more. The Bangsilog was probably my favorite just because it brought me back to breakfast in my Filipino mother's kitchen. It was all the flavors of my childhood in one roll.
Our server, whose name slips my memory, was a delight. She was attentive and explained the concepts behind the drinks she brought us.
Christian was a joy to watch and a joy to speak with.
Thank you for an enjoyable evening.”

“Ordered 2 meals on Veterans Day, attempted to use the app to receive my free breakfast, but was told that my husband was already getting a Veterans Day meal for free so I could not get my meal too. It is what it is. Maybe I'll get my meal another time, they said that I have 30 days, so we will see!?”
“Many cafes in Hawaii actually close after 4pm! Fortunately, this room is open
Location: Opposite the mall
Coffee: The coffee in Hawaii is top notch! Polo is very sweet but not bitter. blue cheese scone ??”
“Bad entry location, had to circle the block. DrP was out. Got half my food, had to go inside.
Sorry wrong location
1180 S King St Honolulu HI”
“Hey, unfortunately this is probably the cheapest option for the value you get when it comes to food in this tourist area. Food is good, but not great. But in an area in which the cheapest plates ever are like $17+ , it’s nice to get a lot of rice and 2 sides of protein for $10.
Definitely quantity over quality but it’s not bad!”
“Order Ala Carte 1/4lb patties with cheese! Save lots of money & skip the unhealthy stuff! #thecarnivorediet”
“I had about 30 minutes before my "Me time" appointment to get all girled up with lashes, pedicure and manicure. I figured I stop in and have some breakfast. The manager that serviced me was sweet. The environment was kicked back as I noticed families enjoying each other. I sat on a 4 seater. That's all they had. I invited Father God to sit with me... I got to talk with him. And ate my breakfast... cried inside of all things going on in my life. Changes etc. Towards the end, a girl asked if she could use 2 seats... I said yes. Turned around and it looked like time with her mom and dad... at least I had the chair in front of me... #godsseat... I miss my parents. They both alive. They just chose to not be in my life. Been so long. Thank you Jack in the Box for being available for me to sit, eat and talk with God. God bless your buisness ”
“This was one of the best meals I had while in Honolulu!! It didn't look like a diner, nor did it look upscale. But, the garlic ribeye, asparagus, salad, and short ribs were delicious, ? upscale, and affordable!! The locals were lined up to order, and everyone was friendly.”
“On Keeaumoku at Rycroft, Ala Moana: Easy-order kiosks. Daily deals (McGriddle + 1.00 on 1 more); 1.49 each any-size coffee; Mon spl: big Mac meal + 1 free. Easy pay and pickup. Big seating area.”

“Excellent food at McDonald’s Salt Lake Shopping Center. The hot cakes and sausage were delicious and just the right portions. Great to sit down and enjoy our breakfast. Mahalo McDonald’s Hawaii.”
“Fantastic fast food spot. We don’t have this in NYC so the “jack wrap” was similar to the McD’s snack wrap. We got food before our flight and service was quick & polite.”
“Window clerk was Impatient when I didn't understand the difference between the breakfast comboand the platter. She was apparently getting frustrated with my ability to you understand her and B came Rude Telling me that she already explained what the platter was and keptinsisting on giving me a Platter”
“The food is absolutely exquisite, best mickey d’s on this island, absolutely beautiful location with the most cheerful atmosphere. service is an absolute pleasure to be accompanied by, absolutely amazing restaurant 11/10”

“The service was great. Busy spot with a bunch of good options nearby. The liliko’i pancakes is an absolute winner. The crunch stuff on top and the pineapple in the bites with the amazing passion fruit sauce was giving face melting”

“This is a pretty amazing place. Baristas are super nice and always make me happy. Especially, I'd like to say thanks to Mitsuko and Manao. I recommend you try the Cold brew with Orange bourbon syrup, Banana bread and Caprese sandwich.”
“Always a good choice. I come here every time I come to Waikiki”
“Malasadas were the best! This is a must if your in Hawaii!”
“Mango Rice Yogurt with pudding Pineapple Rice Yogurt with pudding Mango Sago”
“The burgers and fries we had on our initial visit were so good that it prompted us to return the following day. However, during our second visit, we observed a few discrepancies. Firstly, the fries served were different and not as satisfactory as before. Secondly, the advertised "secret sauce" seemed to be absent unless mayonnaise was the intended secret ingredient. Additionally, it is worth noting that the menu lacks the option of ordering just the burger without the accompanying fries.
Edited to address the owners reply: I did not ask for anything different from the secret sauce. When we reached our hotel room, that's when we noticed we had mayonnaise and not the secret sauce. As far as the fries, I had no clue there were different options. If I did, I would have opted for the seasoned ones I previously had.”
“We got the vanilla chai hot and iced lavender matcha, both were REALLY good! It's a cute little spot too, love the vibe!
Parking: They have like 3 spots for the cafe but the lot is shared and has reserved spots for other businesses too. Street parking and nearby strip mall has plenty of spots”
“I went there three times during my one-week stay.
I drank the green smoothie with less ginger and no ginger, but I feel like it's complete with ginger.
The watermelon smoothie, which is not on the menu, is refreshing and delicious.
I think I will go again next time!”
“so good!!!!! best lobster roll strongly recommended first time trying and i really like it”
“Last year I had the chance to vacation in Hawaii and it was absolutely amazing. One of the best culinary discoveries was Marugame Udon. Their homemade noodles are of unparalleled quality and freshness. Each bowl was a delight, full of authentic flavors.
The welcome is warm and the staff is always ready to help, which makes the experience even more pleasant. I loved being able to customize my dish with various toppings, making each meal unique.
The heavenly beaches, majestic volcanoes and spectacular sunsets made this stay unforgettable. Hawaii remains one of my most treasured vacation memories. ??
If you have the chance to visit Hawaii, I highly recommend going to Marugame Udon for an unforgettable dining experience! ?✨”

“This was definitely a different Pizza experience... their story is intriguing and hopefully this brand and cuisine comes to the remainder of the states especially Florida... I had their lime drink and it was amazing and their Pizza was delightful. 43 inc highly recommended. In Tampa Florida we have a network called The HUB and it's a place we recommend phenomenal experiences. This would be one.”

“Just the best food, staff. Always happy. Always tasty dishes. Their wine dinners are fun. Salmon’s always perfect. A gnocchi & beef dish was especially tasty.”
“It started out a little strange to enter a restaurant “Artizen” to get to the restaurant. But we arrived on time and seated right away. Everyone is very polite. Started off with the Ahi/Kanpachi Nachos, which was very good, Kanpachi is really firm, highly recommend. Drinks were well made, Double Take, then Georgia O'Keeffe, my wife had the Lychee-Hoo. We shared main dishes, Mochi crusted Kanpachi on somen noodles and Chicharron. Would definitely order again but would want to try other menu items too. Ended with coffee and the Candy Bar dessert, not overly sweet dish. We felt that the price is reasonable and comparable for this style restaurant. Nice date night restaurant to impress.”
“This place is as good as any other popular one on the island. It melts in your mouth with every bite and helps you be a breaking bad fan. Very creative and excellent service.”
“The food is exquisite! The service delightful.”
“Make sure you triple check your oder. Today we ate at the Honolulu Bistro for the first time. The guy at the register claims he didn't rung us up for 2 sandwiches. At checking out he did say back our order. The recipe is not detailed either. The amount we paid was definitely for 2 sandwiches. We ended up sharing 1 sandwich and left.”
“The vegetarian tacos were so good, and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend this place if you‘re in the area!”
“A family owned and run diner that I look forward to coming back to again and again! The wait staff remember you and bring delicious food with a smile on their face. Always delicious and always served promptly. One of those places that you hope to find!”
“Literally a diamond in the rough. Great food! Great service! From someone who eats LA food on a regular basis this easily keeps up with SoCal. There's a bright future in store for this business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ??
Vegetarian options: 100% Vegan restaurant
Parking: It's basically free, technically are supposed to pay but it's so late and you are right next to the lot that you don't need to pay”
“We love Drive Thru Joe. The only legit amenity on this base provides us a piece of happiness. Customer service is top and the drinks are fun, refreshing and creative. This is on our top 5 list of things we will miss when leaving the island!!!”
“Penny's has been a family favorite for decades. We are addicted to the roast turkey plate (get the onions!).
When my wife was recovering in the hospital after our first born, her meal request was a Penny's roast turkey plate.
We stop in whenever we can.
No better low-key, family run grinds on the island!
Kid-friendliness: The staff is so sweet. Our last visit, they gave our kids little fun bags with crayons, coloring pages, etc.
We'll keep returning!”
“Excellent food! Tried the Korean, Spicy Garlic and fried chicken bowl. Just make sure you ask if there are peanuts in the sauce if allergic.”
“Great atmosphere, really good food, outstanding staff!”
“Food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is so kind and attentive! Katsu-san creates the most beautiful sashimi platters and omakase sushi!”

“We went to a luau years ago at one of the big resorts with hundreds of other people. We were far away from the action, and it was a very impersonal experience. The food was delicious. They even called us back for seconds if we wanted. The luau is high up on the mountain outside Honolulu, with stunning views and a beautiful location. What's not to like?”
“You will never be disappointed. The chef’s creativity in every dish shines through and is phenomenal every time. Makes me cry good tears! The best sushi on Oahu and a memorable, friendly atmosphere!”
“So welcoming ❤️ simple dinner or a drink at night next to the beach, priceless”
“Some of the most fresh and best prepared sushi and nigiri I’ve ever experienced. Amazing chef and impecable wait staff always making sure your sake and plates are full and clean. Will be back and will be buying more and more. Thank you!”
“The 3 courses set menu is more than enough as a dinner. The food is delicious and presented nicely. Love the appetizer-curry avocado, very innovative. The dessert is creative: chocolate + yam + mochi, chocolate tastes good, but not really matching the yam that well. Anyway, appreciate the creativity.”
“Classic Japanese place. They make their own soba noodles.”
“The Tomahawk steak is outstanding. No need to ruin it with A1 sauce. The stuffed chicken breast was not dry, so tasty. Everything is ala carte but totally worth it. Would go again”
“Beautiful location. Staff was friendly and efficient. The menu was extensive and the food was prepared perfectly and tasted fantastic. Stripsteak should be on your must do list when visiting Honolulu.”
“It was a genuine privilege to watch a master at his craft. The food was fresh and delicious, uniquely prepared in front of you. The restaurant is a discrete and intimate experience with only 10 seats (6 at the counter to watch the chef).
We had the 21 piece option and it is truly worth it.”
“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.”
“Fabulous Food and wonderful staff !! Wine list is also terrific!!”
“as long as you mind a 30-40 min wait times at times, the wait is worth it. the staff is super friendly, and the food is amazing! they always give my wife a to go ice coffee as we were winding down our check. my two favorites were there loco moco, and the very berry french toast”
“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.”

“This coffee shop is a gem and quickly became the highlight of our trip! The owner was so welcoming to us and our baby, it has truly left such a wonderful memory for us in Oahu. We went back again and again, day after day! The Açaí bowl, Pitaya bowl, scones, cookie and coffee were all so good. The owner even came out just to say goodbye to us on our last day on the island, it was truly heartwarming! We will miss Pai Cafe so much!”
“fantastic food and service highly recommend. I wish we had something this good in Torquay Victoria.”
“Amazing little food truck, I would dare to say the best meal I had taking into account how much you pay and what you get. Nice little spot with shared tables, and more food trucks if you feeling like something else. The shrimps are huge and very fresh, the attention is very very good as well, basically, nothing else to ask for.”
“Great taste using Natural non dairy ingredients! Very great customer service and good price.”
“On Hale Koa's beach (Fort DeRussy). Nice atmosphere and 20% discount for military personnel. Only food is hot dogs and chips. Why a 5/5 rating? Because of Kimo the bartender. Have never met a more caring person. He gives water with the drinks, offers chairs, sun protection lotion and anything else needed. All customers I talked to felt the same way about Kimo. Excellent variety of drinks. Mango flow was my favorite. People from all over the world sit here and we become one big family. Will be back and will recommend ?”
“Christine was spectacular she made my entire experience so fun and more than just a simple interaction. I appreciated her authentic perspective and insight in the menu. A great place to stop by and enjoy lunch or even to grab while on break at work.”
“Delicious vegan Vietnamese food in tiny mom and mom type shop. Don’t be discouraged by the amount of stuff covering the walls as the food is great. Especially appreciated the faux chicken.”
“Best poke on the island. The ginger ahi poke is to die for. Lines are long but worth the wait!”
“Food was amazing!!! Super friendly staff, great atmosphere. 10 out of 10. We will be returning.”
“Staff were efficient. The long Q move quickly”
“We have been to both locations of Bean About Town (Waikiki and by UH) and love them both. The one in Waikiki has tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Their Shakarato (shaken latte) is my favorite coffee…ever.”
“We recently visited a breakfast cafe that specializes in healthy eating and were pleasantly surprised! The menu offers a variety of dishes for every taste: from smoothie bowls with fruits and berries to avocado toast on whole grain bread. The portions are balanced, all the ingredients are fresh, and the presentation is bright and appetizing. I especially liked the oatmeal with nuts and berries and the green smoothies - nutritious and rich in vitamins.
The interior of the cafe is bright and cozy, with green plants and pleasant music in the background, which creates an atmosphere of calm and comfort. The service is at the highest level: the staff is friendly, quickly takes orders and is always ready to help with your choice. It’s especially nice that the menu indicates the calorie content and composition of the dishes, which is convenient for those who are watching their diet.
The cafe is ideal for those who want to start the day with a healthy and tasty breakfast, spend the morning in a pleasant environment or meet friends over a cup of matcha latte. We recommend it for everyone who values quality and care for their health!
Vegetarian options: A varied selection of Venetarian dishes for breakfast. Lots of toast and fruit bowls”
“Our catered chicken and steak fajita meal was fabulous and very tasty. BEST Mexican food around! Thanks Raul and team!!! We will be back !!”
“We loved both the food and the wine and the service. The place is gorgeous too. We had a wonderful time.”
“This is the best kept secret in Waikiki! Roy's Eating House 1849 is a hidden gem on the 3rd floor of the International marketplace and although not on the beach, is a nice break from oceanside dining after several nights. Our server/bar tender, Louis, was amazing and we are returning in a couple of nights just because of him and of course the food was incredible. We chose to eat at the bar just because that is our preference but there are plenty of tables and although there is no ocean view, go for the food. If you love Hawaiian-Asian fusion, you will love this place. The ingredients are so fresh and amazing and the happy hour prior to dinner is one of the best values in Waikiki. This is definitely one of Roy's best restaurants in his collection! We had the crispy Ahi Maki for an appetizer. Three generous pieces and had to order a second round it was so good with the caviar. It will be the first thing we order when we return next week. We had the Plantation Style Paella Rice stew. It was so fresh and had amazing flavors and topped with a small lobster. Enough to share which we did after a couple appetizers. If you are looking for something different and delicious after several ocean side dinners, this is the place to go. And again, if Louis is working, he is the bartender/server you want to take care of you!”
“Per usual all from the manager to hostess displayed warm a warm welcome and attentive service . Had the Sunday prime rib special which was excellent- well seasoned and cooked per request. Tasty sides- Brussels sprouts and fully loaded mashed potatoes. Ended with lime tart & coffee and tea. Only draw back it was busy night and the noise level made it difficult to have conversation.”
“My favorite panang curry on island! Attentive staff and fun atmosphere.”
“I ate like crazy!! So there are only two pictures...
There are about ten side dishes and they are all delicious. I ate it without taking a picture haha.
It tastes like a non-irritating side dish.
The soybean paste stew is salty and spicy, not the taste of a meat restaurant.
The simple taste of making it at home without adding ssamjang, my child really enjoyed it even though there was pepper in it.
The seasoned ribs are also delicious. Most of them are not tough and the seasoning is just right.
Please do not cook only on high heat. It was a shame because the delicious meat burned quickly haha.
Jjambbong contains a moderate amount of seafood and has a rich taste.
Jjajang tastes like old-fashioned jjajang, and it’s light and good.
I also added pot rice, which is black rice.
Overall, everything was delicious, and I was very satisfied, perhaps because I live in a neighborhood that doesn't have many Korean restaurants.
The service is also very friendly!!!
The parking lot is conveniently located in the building.”
“Just the best food, staff. Always happy. Always tasty dishes. Their wine dinners are fun. Salmon’s always perfect. A gnocchi & beef dish was especially tasty.”
“You will never be disappointed. The chef’s creativity in every dish shines through and is phenomenal every time. Makes me cry good tears! The best sushi on Oahu and a memorable, friendly atmosphere!”
“There's not enough space to right the good things about this place. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and acknowledged by everyone, including the sushi chefs. Water and drink order is perfectly timed. Whether you order teishoku complete meals or sushi, the flavor and and portions are spot on. If you choose to sit at the sushi counter, the spread is just amazing. From white fish, tuna, to shellfish and sometimes even a fruit or plant to cleanse the pallet. I would recommend reservations as this place is always busy. Takeout is also very good!”
“So welcoming ❤️ simple dinner or a drink at night next to the beach, priceless”
“A friend of mine came here with me for their restaurant week menu. We're glad to just order one set and did a la carte for the rest of the order so we could try a lot of things!
Overall the food was pretty good, a mixture of Spanish or just general European / contemporary American fare. The service was friendly and the outdoor patio seating was pretty nice. We had a lovely evening there.
For the restaurant week menu, the appetizer was Molokai shrimp tartare, iberico rioja wine stew with blue cheese, squid ink seafood and chorizo paella, chocolate mousse with lilikoi and mango. I liked all the items. The flavors were good, nothing surprising or wowed me though. The pork was tender and juicy. The chocolate mousse was definitely a safe bet. The paella taste was solid but I think it could do without the sausage because the fennel seeds were overpowering of the seafood flavor in the dish.
We also tried their croquetas de jamon, buñuelos, truffle egg custard pudding, octopus Ala Gallega, and Ube basque cheesecake. (I know we ordered a lot hahaha). I felt like the croquetas and the buñuelos had too much potato and just a bit of ham flavor and butterfish flavor respectively. Nonetheless they were deep fried well and tasty. The truffle egg custard pudding was smooth, delicate and delicious. It's small though - size of an egg for one order so each person should get one. The octopus was decent but I've had better. I like the Ube cheesecake a lot. It's had a good balance of flavor and texture - not too sweet, not too hard or soft, strong Ube flavor. Also the cream was delicious.
With all the food, and some drinks, I thought the price was pretty reasonable for the ambiance and the type of food. It could be a good spot for a date or hanging out with friends.”
“Beautiful venue, fantastic and attentive staff, and amazing high-level food. Highly recommend! Having more plants dispersed through the space could warm it a bit more but other than that we wouldn’t change anything. Amazing all-around. Special thanks to our server, John C, who helped make our dinner experience there exceptional.”
“The food was already finished, so
We had the first and second most famous cocktails here. It costs $30 plus tax and tip, so it's quite expensive, but the pouring performance was good.”
“Some of the most fresh and best prepared sushi and nigiri I’ve ever experienced. Amazing chef and impecable wait staff always making sure your sake and plates are full and clean. Will be back and will be buying more and more. Thank you!”
“As a tourist to the island, finding this place was a gem. The bartenders bring the bar to life and the ambiance was awesome for a drink & conversation. Felt fortunate to have walked by & in for a drink.”
“Fantastic sushi! Large menu, small intimate location. They have great value for rolls but you can also order very elaborate pieces a la carte. Very popular and can be busy but they take a number and call you when your table is ready! Will definitely be back!!”
“Today's lunch at Repetti's is NJ style cheese pizza with mini Caesar salad.
It's 8 dollars and 95 cents. It was thin, crispy, and extremely delicious. Drinks are sold in cans. There is a unisex toilet at the back left side of the store. Serves 4 people for lunch at 11am. I forgot my hat in the store. When I went back to pick it up, a female clerk handed it to me. I really appreciate it. thank you very much.”
“My happy place my 3rd time here I’m from Sydney Australia”
“Authentic Japanese food! It was great to be able to have it while vacationing in Hawaii. Brought back so many memories of living in Japan!”
“Always my favorite place when I visit. Never a worry!”
“Came here for the $32 lunch special, what a great deal! High quality meats and unlimited sides, soda, curry and Dave's ice cream!!! Nice atmosphere, comfortable and great music. Alex our server was exceptional as usual. Love everything about this place! Our new go to!”
“Amazing food and atmosphere every time. I highly recommend this restaurant”
“I live out west, but when I am over on this side, it's always a spot the family and I tend to stop at. Big fan of the pizza by the slice option, and I'm glad it was still a thing since we haven't gone since lockdown.”
“The best, most authentic Italian sandwich on island! Ignore the reviews about the long wait - those uppity complainers have short fuses and the food is absolutely worth it!”
“I went on a Wednesday around 7pm.
The parking lot was full.
Valet parking is available at the entrance of the parking lot.
My brother is there, and I play volleyball or go out on my own.
You will be asked if you would like to park.
For volleyball, it was $5.
There is a drug store across the street from the store.
I think some people might stop there.
I used valet parking.
As you can see in the image, I read the volleyball ticket.
It's like I can't say anything even if it gets stolen.
Because of the content, I was worried until I left the store.
The food was very tasty.
The pescatore had very luxurious ingredients.
It contained legs like king crab.
The most delicious thing was the paella.
Approximately 100 grams of dried noodles per plate of pasta.
It's a small amount so it's not worth sharing.
I thought there were a lot of them because it was America.
The store clerk told me that maybe that wasn't enough.
I ended up ordering a Margherita pizza later.
The interior of the store is very stylish.
Sometimes the store was full.
It felt very noisy.
This was the only negative point.
Maybe it's because it's casual.
But it was so delicious that I want to go again.”
“I read the bad reviews first just to have another point of view prior of my visit.
Obviously all this review are points of views and I respect that. My personal experience in this place was awesome, I found this place really tasty and delicious. Of course I get my favorite California Roll and I request unagi Sauce, the amount was very generous, I get a Salmon avocado roll, mmmm very very delicious, if my first time trying this one. My friend he get a lot of food. I don’t know what he get but he eat everything ?
If I go to Waikiki I definitely I can stop by because the location is at the entrance of Waikiki. I don’t know if they have parking just because I don’t drive so is something to check is some visit this place and arrive by car
Wheelchair accessibility: Is the first floor so it is accessible”
“What a delicious experience! Tasty breakfast, the best coffee, attentive staff, and one of the best views on the beach. We can’t wait to return on our next vacation.”
“I had the macadamia nut crusted mahi and it was amazing! For dessert I had pineapple upside down cake and it was the best I ever had! The service was fantastic. My water glass never ran dry. The chef brought the food out and explained what it was. It is well worth the money in both food and service!”
“One of our favorite things when traveling is discovering some hole-in-the-wall restaurant that knocks our socks off....that was tonight #bestfoodever”
“The hospitality from check in to service at the table is always consistently excellent and the recommendations from the servers, always so good! The macadamia nut crusted mahi and the taro hummus were amazing and we loved the refreshing the coconut lime sorbet for dessert. Can't wait to go back and try more!”
“Classic Japanese place. They make their own soba noodles.”
“The food is exquisite! The service delightful.”
“Amazing dinner and friendly staff from bar to dining room! Our must every time we visit Oahu!”
“The Tomahawk steak is outstanding. No need to ruin it with A1 sauce. The stuffed chicken breast was not dry, so tasty. Everything is ala carte but totally worth it. Would go again”
“Truly amazing and extraordinary, every course is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The sparking sake in particular was unexpectedly outstanding. Only problem is it’s so hard to book, but still, I look forward to returning soon.”
“best Indian food I've ever had i come for the lunch special, super affordable and delicious. the owner is so nice treats us like family. I cant say enough good things about this place. if you get indian food on this island new kamana kitchen is a must.”

The uni toro rice was great too
Great authentic japanese noodles place. I can comfortably eat here while pregnant cos the food is healthier”
“My family and I have been coming here for nearly a decade, and the food, service, and atmosphere has remained the same— 10/10 highly recommend. Their spinach dip is a delicious appetizer, and I always order the tomato soup with extra crostini’s. The soup is delicious and one of the best tomato soup’s you’ll ever have. The Caesar and sesame wonton salad is also yummy. Their plantation iced tea is also seriously addicting. Their service and staff are always quick to deliver the food, yet kind and personable. I highly recommend coming here.”
“Beautiful location and view Delicious food Friendly service”
“Fish from Japan, so fresh! Omakase where the chef prepares the fish one dish at a time until you’re full. What an experience! Worth the price!”
“Fantastic food & service. Arrive early, they stop serving at 8p, be sure to order the Spanish Coffee!”
“Great speakeasy hidden bar in Honolulu. During this visit wanted to find a couple of hidden bars. This one was fun and fit the bill as hard to find! Other reviewers have said where it is. I found finding the phone number to make a reservation a challenge! Once connected they texted the reservation link. Once confirmed they texted the instructions. For us we entered through a vending machine. (Based on other reviews I assume they change the “front” of the door occasionally. Cocktails were excellent!”
“Great ramen and open late. Flew into Honolulu late from Maui on a Saturday and was able to get some great ramen and saki at 11pm. Definitely recommend sitting at the bar”
“My husband and I found this little gem from Google Map. We had the Galbi plate and bulgogi. They’re super yum. The service though, we’ve never encountered anything like it before. The girl who served us was such a sweetheart! She helped me out with my pain. Top notch with her smile and helpfulness. Thanks so much, girl ?? Best wishes from NZ!”
“Great place. Food was great. Atmosphere was fine, I could easily have a conversation with the people I was with. Service was great. Only thing was that I wish they would have told us that there was a 2 hour time limit. We were ready to order more food and drinks but they just brought us the bill. Letting us know when we made the reservation or when we were seated would have been fine but nothing was said at all.”
“Came here for gluten free ramen - it was awesome. Also enjoyed gf agedashi tofu. Great service, awesome staff, true Japanese taste and experience. Thank you Kaiden!!!

“this place is a Crazy Rich Asian vibe and i love it. Chef Anthony and his crew were absolutely phenomenal. A family style, off-menu 9 dish dinner was delicious. i was full by dish 7 and barely had enough room for dish 9(desert).
BTW, this place is PERFECT for private events!”

“DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! I am sitting in the drive through now for 35 minutes... I get to the window to place my order and told to drive to the window, unable to place my order. This place is a joke!! Now I'm going to be late for work!! Get it together!!”
“Ate here with my spouse. Had what was similar to egg rolls with chicken if they were steamed. My husband had 3 buns with BBQ pork inside. He said they were delicious. We shared a large pot of egg drop soup, I had to add a little salt. I had chicken with vegetables, pretty good, some of the pieces were a little fatty. Nothing oily. Polite, attentive service. Bill was about $42 and we left them $50. Dated but clean place. Lots of supplies on tables and counters. Group of LOUD men enjoying themselves but part of the ambiance I guess. All in all, it did the trick.”
“Best Roasted Duck in all the islands. Take out to neighbor islands too.”

“I and a couple of other retirees discovered Pur Sina when they opened and have been weekly customers ever since. Their small kitchen limits the menu choices, but what they offer is tasty and reasonably priced. The pleasant customer-oriented staff has made it serve as a home away from home for us, and we have always felt welcomed. If/when they leave, they will be sorely missed.”

“Clean space, nice ambience, great service and solid korean food. You could taste the freshness. Just a little pricey for the amount of food but overall still great. We had the braised kalbi short ribs which was my favorite dish. We did the Combo B and added on Ribeye cap steak. The sides we ordered were the egg souffle and jap chae which were delicous. We will be back.”
“You'd probably walk right past this place if you weren't looking for it, and that would be a huge mistake. Ramen Go is located in a small food court area called Pineapple County Market. This was some of the best ramen I've had! Got the TBG (Teriyaki Butter Garlic) Ramen and the Aburi Pork Don. Delicious and highly recommended!”
“Food is so delicious and staff extremely helpful and attentive”
