“It is in the Asian food court.
The tempura is perfect & authentic.
The choices are various.
Tendon sauce and matcha salt are provided as ingredients.
The unagi tempura combo is huge.
It is so delicious that we want to eat it everyday when in Waikiki.”
“We went to a luau years ago at one of the big resorts with hundreds of other people. We were far away from the action, and it was a very impersonal experience. At Nutridge the luau was up close and personal, with attention to us individually as guests. There were probably only 50 or 60 people attending. We were never far from the performers, who were great. The food was delicious. They even called us back for seconds if we wanted. The luau is high up on the mountain outside Honolulu, with stunning views and a beautiful location. What's not to like?”
“These guys take creative to a whole new level! Well done!”
“The food, wine, service, and atmosphere are amazing. I dine here every 2 months and I am always very impressed. Thank you for your continued excellence!”

“This place is amazing. It’s located at the back of Asia Stix. I loved the hojicha and matcha soft serve ? I can’t wait to come back… please open one in town, outside of Waikiki so I don’t have to drive into crazy Waikiki traffic lol”
“Food is so delicious and staff extremely helpful and attentive”
“Yall aren’t ready for grindz this onolicious! You think you are? You think, because you don’t completely lose your composure over double spam musubi, that you can keep a straight face when chowing the likes of the Pit Stop’s kahlua pork tacos?!?! Pfft, maybe if this were amateur hour! Don’t be lolo! The Pit Stop is the real deal! The whole menu will break your mouth!! Nah, you’re not ready but do yourself a favor and go anyway. You won’t regret it!”
“These guys take creative to a whole new level! Well done!”
“This was one of the best Customer service experiences I have had since living in Hawaii. Today was my 30th birthday and they made me feel so special. The food was amazing and they put a candle on my waffles. Even when we were leaving one of the employees or owners came out after my friend and I and said happy birthday again. I cannot express how wonderful this place was! The food was amazing and my friend and I will be returning! Newest favorite brunch place! Thank you waffle and berry!”
“arugola burger was really good. it took a while but everything is freshly cooked.
Vegetarian options: I saw a sign that they sell vegan pattys”

“Nestled in the heart of downtown Honolulu, Bar Leather Apron is a hidden gem that effortlessly combines sophistication with a cozy, intimate atmosphere. Known for its meticulous attention to detail and exceptional cocktail craftsmanship, it stands out as a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a remarkable bar experience in the city. One of the undeniable stars of their menu is the Mai Tai. Master bartender and owner Justin Park elevates this classic cocktail to new heights, offering a perfectly balanced blend of spirit orgeat, and citrus that captures the essence of the tropics in every sip. The Mai Tai here is not just a drink; it’s an experience that leaves a lasting impression, making it one of the best you’ll find anywhere.”
“Bar Maze would be a very high 1* or potentially a 2* Michelin level restaurant if Michelin came to Honolulu. Very good food and cocktails. There were five courses but the portions were larger than restaurants that have 8+ courses. Highly recommend the wagyu upgrade with the bar maze rice. The cocktails were very innovative and would be great if they came from a top cocktail bar. I was very surprised at how good the cocktails were and how well they paired with the food, especially compared to a 2* star Michelin restaurant like CODA in Berlin. The cocktails here were simply far better and more creative. The service is nice and friendly. Not very formal. If you want a very good tasting menu with exceptional cocktails, then you should come here. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.”
“Sat at the counter and watched the chefs create true works of art. Conner and entire staff were incredibly kind and helpful on all good and drink selections. All items were outstanding but the mushroom and cheese tarts, scallops and three smoked king salmon were amazing and then sum. Highly recommend!”
“We LOVEEEEE Egghead Cafe!!! Every time we come in they are so friendly, welcoming of my little ones, and quick! I've never had anything bad. Their coffee is delicious, my favorite is Tiramisu Latte! Definitely visit, it will be worth it!”
“The food was very good, wife love the ice cream on her French toast.”
“The most delicious place to grab a smoothie in Waikiki. Always friendly staff working there and really great service! Especially Yu! I tell all my friends:))”
“This was our second time at Fete this week while on vacation. We found this gem last summer and dined there twice as well. This time we were outside. The weather was nice but the buses were noisy and there were homeless people wandering. Definitely dine inside and then everything is perfect and delicious. We knew we'd be outside this time per our reservation so we were just happy to eat at Fete.”
“Easily the best cocktail of my trip to Hawaii. Nestled innocently in the hotel lobby, come get transported through bomb cocktails and neon lights. Bring the main squeeze and have a good time.”
“Expensive. Very good. Expensive. (Worth repeating). There's a reason why roys has been around for decades.
The first time I ever went to Roy's I got the escargot. Not a fan, but other dishes are excellent, like the misoyaki butterfish. (Although if you want the best misoyaki butterfish ever- Rinka)
Parking: Ample free parking everywhere (as it should be)
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps.”

“Incredible sushi!! I ordered a second Sashimi Deluxe for two for mystic was ssoooo good!!”
“Amazing omakase place! The food was 8/10 and the service really made this place shine. 11/10. Love the chef and the servers. Will definitely come back when I'm back in Hawaii! The atmosphere was perfect!”
“We had a great experience here! The ambience and dining area was lovely, and the restaurant has fire precautions in place. The servers were attentive and were knowledgeable on the menu items. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the Miyazaki beef chef's cut, with every piece melting in our mouths! We can't wait to be back.”
“Always my favorite place when I visit. Never a worry!”
“We loved both the food and the wine and the service. The place is gorgeous too. We had a wonderful time.”
“Authentic Japanese food! It was great to be able to have it while vacationing in Hawaii. Brought back so many memories of living in Japan!”
“Good omakase overall, friendly funny chefs and makes the experience enjoyable and fun. Every dish is nicely curated and paired with a lot of extras like caviar, truffle and such, but to me sometimes less is more. Too much of the extras sometimes lose the taste of the fish itself. But the chefs aren't stingy about the portion! Overall we left satisfied and happy. Good sake selection!”

“Didn't expect to be visiting a Denny's on my first night in Oahu, but honestly I couldn't have asked for a better way to have dinner at an odd hour while struggling with jet lag. The food was great, the prices were reasonable, and the manager has phenomenal people skills.”
“Many cafes in Hawaii actually close after 4pm! Fortunately, this room is open
Location: Opposite the mall
Coffee: The coffee in Hawaii is top notch! Polo is very sweet but not bitter. blue cheese scone ??”
“I got the combo bahn mi here for lunch and it was delicious!! The woman working the counter was very kind and attentive. Service was quick and I thought the portion was pretty good for the price. Already crave another, will definitely be returning:)”
“Hey, unfortunately this is probably the cheapest option for the value you get when it comes to food in this tourist area. Food is good, but not great. But in an area in which the cheapest plates ever are like $17+ , it’s nice to get a lot of rice and 2 sides of protein for $10.
Definitely quantity over quality but it’s not bad!”
“I’m a late snacker. So I’m pretty much always going to this location. Whenever I go I usually see the same woman working the late night shift. I never write these reviews but sis is a good worker. I just felt like that needed to be said”
“Order Ala Carte 1/4lb patties with cheese! Save lots of money & skip the unhealthy stuff! #thecarnivorediet”
“This was one of the best meals I had while in Honolulu!! It didn't look like a diner, nor did it look upscale. But, the garlic ribeye, asparagus, salad, and short ribs were delicious, ? upscale, and affordable!! The locals were lined up to order, and everyone was friendly.”
“I had about 30 minutes before my "Me time" appointment to get all girled up with lashes, pedicure and manicure. I figured I stop in and have some breakfast. The manager that serviced me was sweet. The environment was kicked back as I noticed families enjoying each other. I sat on a 4 seater. That's all they had. I invited Father God to sit with me... I got to talk with him. And ate my breakfast... cried inside of all things going on in my life. Changes etc. Towards the end, a girl asked if she could use 2 seats... I said yes. Turned around and it looked like time with her mom and dad... at least I had the chair in front of me... #godsseat... I miss my parents. They both alive. They just chose to not be in my life. Been so long. Thank you Jack in the Box for being available for me to sit, eat and talk with God. God bless your buisness ”
“Good parking and drive-through. Outsie seats available.

“Excellent food at McDonald’s Salt Lake Shopping Center. The hot cakes and sausage were delicious and just the right portions. Great to sit down and enjoy our breakfast. Mahalo McDonald’s Hawaii.”
“Fantastic fast food spot. We don’t have this in NYC so the “jack wrap” was similar to the McD’s snack wrap. We got food before our flight and service was quick & polite.”

“Don’t let the exterior fool you, this is no greasy spoon. We had a MARVELOUS breakfast here. All of the food was beyond compare, budget-friendly priced, and the staff is exceptional. Highly recommended. We will be back whenever we are in Honolulu.”
“GREAT FOOD! I was taken back by how good the BEAST was. We had four days to stay in town and spent two of our mornings here.
Would recommend to anyone who is open to eating under a sun umbrella on a picnic table.
The staff was very sweet as well! There was a wait which they had warned us about before ordering and the food was well worth it!”
“Great taste using Natural non dairy ingredients! Very great customer service and good price.”

“I love this place! Easy moped access, the fruit can be a little more expensive but the drinks are really great deals. I got the avocado mango smoothie and I loved it, Not too strong or sweet. The jars are super cute and for an extra $2 you can get a lid with a straw.”

“Our catered chicken and steak fajita meal was fabulous and very tasty. BEST Mexican food around! Thanks Raul and team!!! We will be back !!”
“I recently visited The Dailey and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The highlight of my meal was the burger, which featured a soft and flavorful potato bun that perfectly complemented the juicy patty. The homemade sauce added a unique and delicious twist, tying all the flavors together beautifully.
On top of the great food, the service was outstanding. The cashier was super nice and took the time to explain everything on the menu, making sure I got exactly what I wanted. The attention to detail in both the food and service sets The Daley apart from other burger joints. If you're looking for a place that delivers on taste, quality, and hospitality, I highly recommend giving The Daley a try!”
“If you are gluten free, this is the only place on the island to get the most delicious baked goods. Everything is 100% gluten free including cakes, pies, breads and savory goodness foods. I never miss a visit whenever on the island!”
“Sat at the counter and watched the chefs create true works of art. Conner and entire staff were incredibly kind and helpful on all good and drink selections. Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Just the best food, staff. Always happy. Always tasty dishes. Their wine dinners are fun. Salmon’s always perfect. A gnocchi & beef dish was especially tasty.”
“Food was very good. The fish entrees were solid and the French bistro specials were nice. The services were good but seems rushed at the end - looks like they were trying to close at 9 and we were still working on desserts. But overall very nice.”
“She just started her business this year and she is a very hardworking and kind person. Delicious and beautiful presentation. Wish I would have taken a picture but started eating before review. 10/10 recommend! Cheers and have a blissful year”
“The food is exquisite! The service delightful.”
“Make sure you triple check your oder. Today we ate at the Honolulu Bistro for the first time. The guy at the register claims he didn't rung us up for 2 sandwiches. At checking out he did say back our order. The recipe is not detailed either. The amount we paid was definitely for 2 sandwiches. We ended up sharing 1 sandwich and left.”
“A family owned and run diner that I look forward to coming back to again and again! The wait staff remember you and bring delicious food with a smile on their face. Always delicious and always served promptly. One of those places that you hope to find!”
“The vegetarian tacos were so good, and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend this place if you‘re in the area!”
“My experience here was great. The food is very delicious, healthy and well proportioned, the owner is a very hardworking man and was very kind and quick with the food. You all should definitely try.”
“We love Drive Thru Joe. The only legit amenity on this base provides us a piece of happiness. Customer service is top and the drinks are fun, refreshing and creative. This is on our top 5 list of things we will miss when leaving the island!!!”
“My Vietnamese friend suggested that we order the Super Pho Seven Courses of Beef at her favorite Vietnamese restaurant. It had a good variety of beef prepared in different ways. My favorite was the Lemon Beef Salad that we rolled up into rice paper and dipped into a delicious sauce. This restaurant not only has the best tasting food, they have the largest menu with over 100 authentic dishes. On Tuesday I ate at Broken Rice and last night I ate at Hale Vietnam, so that's 3 different Vietnamese restaurants in 3 days in a 2 block radius. This one is the only one that I ***** Highly Recommended!*****”
“Excellent food! Tried the Korean, Spicy Garlic and fried chicken bowl. Just make sure you ask if there are peanuts in the sauce if allergic.”
“Always my favorite place when I visit. Never a worry!”
“From the warm greeting everyone receives when walking through the door to the attentive and super friendly service, this place is amazing! The sushi was outstanding… hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The texture, taste and presentation was top notch. Wish there was a location on the east coast!”
“so good!!!!! best lobster roll strongly recommended first time trying and i really like it”

“Located fourth floor outdoor canopy luau, which protected us from light rain.
Gourmet cuisine offering pork loin, chicken, macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi, and this list goes on!
Indoor theatre entertainment, band , dancing and the singers were professional level and should be featured in Vegas or New York bring you back to life music from the last six decade highlights from the 1940's on with Elvis Presley, Michael Jack to Island hero Iz.
The choreography was absolutely stunning, and we literally felt we were back in time.
Their fire dancer performance was the best we've experienced in our 13 trips.
June 2024 update
The choreography is new each year, and we loved this year's show! Each year, we are excited to experience another amazing performance.”
“So welcoming ❤️ simple dinner or a drink at night next to the beach, priceless”
“Classic Japanese place. They make their own soba noodles.”
“The Tomahawk steak is outstanding. No need to ruin it with A1 sauce. The stuffed chicken breast was not dry, so tasty. Everything is ala carte but totally worth it. Would go again”
“I don’t know why it had the bad comment about this lunchbox that it is going to be my favorite so far from now on I expect that the sushi rice is gonna make from the red vinegar but actually is kind of like regular rice with white vinegar maybe and a little bit sweet but still tasty I got otoro uni ankimo a lot of ikura and a lot of kind of fish every pieces so fresh and tasty
The fish may be coming in small pieces but this is what chirashi box supposed to be
May you feel this box is not to big but for the girl I eat a half box and I feel full already and leftover I keep for My Husband
Guys and this box just 40$ after tax around 44$
I feel like I have small omakase from this box so don’t miss it when u come to hawaii????
But location of the restaurant really hard to find so it’s gonna be in the lobby floor so your support to take the elevator and when you come out, turn right be careful to pick up in time 4:30 PM they’re gonna keep your box until 5 PM after that they have to throw it away, because it’s a fresh fish
Staff, smiling and really polite
I would buy this-box again and this restaurant gonna be my restaurant for my anniversary with My Husband for sure❤️”
“Beautiful location. Staff was friendly and efficient. The menu was extensive and the food was prepared perfectly and tasted fantastic. Stripsteak should be on your must do list when visiting Honolulu.”
“It was a genuine privilege to watch a master at his craft. The food was fresh and delicious, uniquely prepared in front of you. The restaurant is a discrete and intimate experience with only 10 seats (6 at the counter to watch the chef).
We had the 21 piece option and it is truly worth it.”
“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.”
“A must see in Waikiki! I enjoyed learning about the history and culture, it was very interactive. The food was absolutely delicious and large portions. I enjoyed getting selected to dance on stage with the beautiful Hawaii ladies. Perfect experience for the whole family. So glad he honored the fallen heros, it was a special moment. I’ll be back!”

“Nice place with good workers
There is like 5 tables inside and 2 tables outside.
We got acai bowl and dragon fruit bowl.
They were both very good.
Both has same toppings.
We went around 10am on Friday, we found parking in the front.”
“What a great little cafe (when they’re not busy). The seating is small and you’re not really sheltered from the noisy Waialae road, but if you have the place to yourself it’s a really good place to enjoy their quality coffee drinks and pastries. I’m happy they’re my closest cafe but I wish I could hangout longer somehow. Still recommend ??”
“During our recent visit to Oahu, our family enjoyed the food at Thường An Lạc so much that we returned for a second meal. While dining there on July 30, 2024, just before we departed for the mainland U.S., we were inspired to write a Vietnamese poem on the spot. We left the poem with the staff, hoping they would enjoy it as much as we appreciated their wonderful food and service.
***Nhớ Honolulu***

Its rough English translation:
***Missing Honolulu***
In Hawaii, waves roll with silver glow,
Where royal poincianas bloom, Pearl Harbor's echoes flow.
The pure and peaceful vegan fare at Thường An Lạc,
Leaves a joy in our heart that forever will grow.”
“Delicious! I had the sweet beef with sauce and crab tempura. The noodles were soft but firm enough to not be mushy. The beef and sauce were loaded with flavor! The tempura was a bit bland but fairly priced. I'll skip that next time. Overall a GREAT meal for less than $20!
Parking: It's on a corner only accessible by bus, bike, or walking. Street parking around the corner was free after 6 pm”
“Food was amazing!!! Super friendly staff, great atmosphere. 10 out of 10. We will be returning.”
“Best poke on the island. The ginger ahi poke is to die for. Lines are long but worth the wait!”
“Good food. Delicious breakfast sandwich.”
“"Uncle" Kimo and Anthony serving you the Vibe literally on the water.. .you don't have to be military to enjoy this place. Get a drink with a floater and a hot dog before they run out! Official Sunset Rating Agency (OSRA) Rating =AAA+++”
“The barista took the time to do it right. The espresso came out of the naked portafilter looking nice and slow, no splatter. The crema tasted smooth and creamy. The espresso is balanced without no sour or bitter notes.”
“Food was really good, I definitely recommend the Loco Moco. Even the onion rings was top of my list. The amount of food you get for what you pay for is awesome. Especially in the middle of Waikiki just be aware that it’s in the middle of Waikiki, so it’s most likely very busy so expect a wait for ordering and good luck finding a table to sit at especially evening time. Wednesday and Friday nights have live music so good!
Parking: Park in the international parking lot and they validate.
Kid-friendliness: Perfect for the kids. Portions are big.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Nice and open.”
“Staff were efficient. The long Q move quickly”
“Ono tacos were great. Steak tacos were great. Loved the Mac salad and Cole slaw. Kids loved the chicken strips.”
“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.”
“as long as you mind a 30-40 min wait times at times, the wait is worth it. the staff is super friendly, and the food is amazing! they always give my wife a to go ice coffee as we were winding down our check. my two favorites were there loco moco, and the very berry french toast”
“This was definitely a different Pizza experience... their story is intriguing and hopefully this brand and cuisine comes to the remainder of the states especially Florida... I had their lime drink and it was amazing and their Pizza was delightful. 43 inc highly recommended. In Tampa Florida we have a network called The HUB and it's a place we recommend phenomenal experiences. This would be one.”

“We were so happy with every dish at this restaurant! The attention to service, the thoughtfulness in the way to dishes were prepared and the overall care we felt from staff made this a 5/5 rating. The drinks were special, nothing I've had anywhere else. The appetizers were high quality ingredients, delicious and artistically plated. The entrees were robust, but delicately balanced flavors and textures in each bite so you never got bored or familiar with the dish. The desserts were very good. Our favorite was the earl grey panna cotta. It looks so underwhelming but the flavors are substantial and preferable over the heavy chocolate or caramel desserts. We felt so special dining here. We will 100% return!! Mahalo nui”
“Visiting from Portland - Really enjoyed our experience here. Bartenders were great, the handrolls were incredible and the ambiance offered plenty of sensory engagement. (Awesome art, handrolls made right in front of you, cool matcha tools on the shelf…)”
“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.”
“Just the best food, staff. Always happy. Always tasty dishes. Their wine dinners are fun. Salmon’s always perfect. A gnocchi & beef dish was especially tasty.”
“Food is so delicious and staff extremely helpful and attentive”
