“First time here, exactly what you want from a beach food truck. Everything made to order, had the coconut shrimp. Crazy great portions, big meaty shrimp nicely fried with good sides. So many mediocre sit down restaurants in Waikiki, skip those and come here. See picture for ideal consumption location.“

“Im not sure where all these people went that are complaining about how bad it was but i hit the spot in downtown crossing boston for my very first trip to one and was an absolutely incredible meal. tenders were tender flavorful and juicy the texas toast was awesome the whole meal came out perfect. i was already on about a 3 mile boston adventure so i opted for the lemonade instead of my usual soda with meal and i will always get the lemondae. awesome job guys!“

“My first Raising Cane’s experience was when I was with Kuuipo. She was so excited to let me know that there were chicken tenders! Last time, it was their way of saying hello and welcoming me. The only downside to this Chick-fil-A is their minimal space causing the drive thru line to feed into the road. I wouldn't hold that against the staff here. Also, on the plus side if the line stays you can get back on the road fairly easy on the other side.“

“This is one of my lunch spot when I worked in the university. Wednesdays they had kare kare and it was always so comforting. and bilobilo, when i need some warm sweets during rainy day it's just the best. also i do not like bitter melon but their pinakbet i would eat.
During lunch hour there's a long line in the restaurant so it may feel weird to dine in. but I always grab it to go.
this is one of the spot that I miss the most after i moved away.“

“Absolutely phenomenal! I came through drive-through to pick up a mobile order only to find that they didn’t have any record of it in the system. However, the staff quickly assessed the problem which was that I had placed the order for the next day. Rather than turning me away, or asking me to replace the order, the manager quickly and expertly triaged with the Staff, and I received my food within minutes. The manager even credited my online order payment to the meal I received so that I wouldn’t have to go online to cancel and refund the mobile order. “Something about these piroshki is so good. I really enjoy the beef and mushroom and the chicken with mushroom.

Prices are still very reasonable as well.

Tip- Always call before you head down. I've dropped by a few times when they were supposed to be open per their sign but they were closed.“

“Flying in from San Francisco, one of my 1st stops us always Zippy’s Casual friendly atmosphere. Delicious food. Love Portuguese soup and clam chowder. The corn bread fried and buttery. For a delicious taste of Honolulu, run to Zippy’s. I do!“

“Located within the Maunakea food court. The food court, itself, is rather sad and decrepit looking.

I ordered a Lao papaya salad and Lao sausage with the very nice owner. She asked me for my spice level and I replied “the authentic way you eat it.” The salad itself was definitely spicy and I enjoyed every bite. Only criticism would be I wished the papaya was crunchier. I also like peanuts in my papaya salad but there were none in this version, I don’t know if the Lao version contains peanuts. The sausage was meaty and tasty.

I’d return to try their other authentic Lao dishes.“
