“I am a Miami to Alaska transplant and seek out great Cuban food and cafe’ whenever I travel. Castro’s is the real deal!! The Cuban Cafe’ is spot on and the French Toast with the Rum Sauce is off the charts!! Enough food to feed two! The owner is friendly & engaging as is the staff. Stop in, grab a Cafe’ and chill on the sidewalk seating while your breakfast is created..I say created because it is a true work of art…at least in my professional opinion.“

“I was visiting Honolulu from Wisconsin, and this food truck ended up being one of the best surprises of the whole trip. I’ll be honest the walk to it looks a little sketchy at first since you head down this small alley, but don’t let that fool you. Once you get back there, it’s a whole different story. The customer service was awesome super friendly, super welcoming. And the food? Straight-up 10/10. The loaded barbecue fries were insane, packed with flavor and totally worth every bite. The burgers were just as amazing, juicy and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was out of this world. If you’re in Honolulu, don’t sleep on this place. I’d come back in a heartbeat.“

The dolmas had a bit of a bite from the lentils, pickled cabbage was not too salty or briney, and the cauliflower tasted healthy 💕. The best thing is, if I needed more salt, it’d be so easy to layer on the flavors! So lucky to have stumbled upon this food at the Kaka’ako Market!“

“This has been our go to brunch spot for the last several years. The food is amazing - the Oscar Benedict (crab/corned beef) is one of our favorites! The coffee w/cookies and especially having the milk/cream warmed is the perfect way to start the day. The peaceful atmosphere with its view of the blue ocean and Fort DeRussy park makes this a truly special place. Most of all, the staff is amazing… Summer, Feliciana, Chris, everyone! They have truly imbued the spirit of Aloha.“

The food is made fresh and replaced often due to the foot traffic. It taste amazing and the price is right. It’s not super pricey and it taste so good. It’s grab and go and there’s tables outside. Perfect to get picnic snacks.“

My toddler who is in a picky eating phase loved their scrambled eggs and croffles. They also have the best matcha latte I've ever had, I believe they use a pandan syrup they make in house. “Roy's is our place to celebrate special occasions, and as usual, it did not disappoint. We had a party of 10, and they easily accommodated us. Brandon was our server, and he was fantastic. The drinks and food were sublime. The kitchen even made an off-menu treat of hot bread rolls with honey brie spread (because the only other Roy's that serves the brie appetizer is the one at Ko'Olina). Roy's will continue to be our first choice for celebrations.“

I would return just for the hamachi shashimi and the ichibo steak as it melts in your mouth! Loved the great ambiance and service. The greeter welcomed us and sat us quick even said happy birthday.
