“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.“

“So, we went there twice. One for dinner and for late lunch. Not dropping names. First, dinner. Service was great and personable. My wife had the macadamia nut crusted fish. She said it was great and tasty. I had the huli huli chicken. It was, eh. The flavor was decent but not a whole half a chicken. There was a breast, leg and very, very small part of a thigh, which is my favorite. Breast
was also kinda dry. I think breasts are very difficult for chefs, happens a lot.
Lunch. Hot wings and cheeseburger. Wings are large and there are 6. Not fried crispy. More of a soft exterior. Personally, not the way to do wings. The flavor was good and unique. Server was young but nice. Difficult for her to look you in the eyes. Overall experience was nice“

“Coming from Toronto where food is exceptional in general, the food here is phenomenal! I had the spicy ahi katsu which is so delicious and hearty. They also encouraged us to sample so many different poke so my husband could decide on the poke he wanted. It was tough to choose with all the incredible options

The sweet old lady at the front counter truly touched my heart. So hospitable, thoughtful, happy and generous. The staff overall were also a major highlight. I would highly, highly recommend this place to anyone trying poke or just interested in the a fresh seafood experience“

“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.“

“Got the Hawaiian burger, very good stuff. Was made medium as it should be, if you want otherwise you need to ask. The portion of fries is more than enough, only downside is the fries were not seasoned a lot, the ones that were seasoned though were tasty. I'm not big on crinkle cut ones but it's fine with this burger.“

The girls work fast at slicing your fresh sashimi for salads, bowls and bentos. Frying salmon or ahi belly and hamachi Kama. And don’t forget about the laulau with kalua pig and lomi salmon plate. “A MUST VISIT! I'm writing this review as a repeat customer. I've tried Fumi's when they were in the North Shore and I've tried their food twice now at the Ala Moana location and it's delicious!

I came this time because I really wanted to check out their Garlic Basil Chicken. If anyone has ever had TapEx Taiwanese style popcorn chicken in San Diego, then you will be very pleased with this dish. I love the balance of spice, texture, and smothering their delicious spicy garlic butter shrimp sauce on my rice.

I’m from Oahu and haven’t had a favorite poke spot besides places I’ve been on Big Island or Foodland, but this place is an easy favorite. The food is consistently good, the prices are fair, and there’s a great variety to choose from. It’s an easy stop before the beach or park, or the perfect place to refuel after a day in the surf. My go‑to is always the fish burrito. The cajun seasoning and macnut pesto are always on point. Truly one of those local spots that feels like part of the community.“
